Real Life Real Faith welcomes Dr. Charles Hames and Pastor Bill Jenkins

    in Self Help

Rev. Dr. Charley Hames, Jr. is the senior pastor of the historic Beebe Memorial Cathedral (BMC) in Oakland, CA. His first book, Pressing Reset: When Life Forces You to Start Over Again, will be released in Winter 2015 by Spirit Driven Publishing.

Dr. Hames has a tremendous passion for God’s word, coupled with a love for God’s people. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that overflows throughout every facet of his ministry. Yet even though his pastoral experiences and ability to lead have netted successful churches, changed lives and powerful testimonies, Dr. Hames has also experienced his own dark moments – moments when he felt God wasn’t there. That was until Dr. Hames pressed reset.

Bill Jenkins is a senior pastor who has served in full-time ministry for over 28 years, renowned conference speaker, life coach and an award winning author. He has been recognized by the mayor of Indianapolis as a Community Service Leader and by the Minority Business Men as a "Man Of Distinction". He has been featured in Charisma and other nationally know magazines and he has the longest running television program on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Pastor Bill Jenkins is a true man of God with a prophetic word for our nation.

Real Life Real Faith welcomes Gospel Recording Artist Robert E. Person

    in Entertainment

An intense feeling of deep affection and personal attachment for another person...that's Love.  An even greater love is the Love of Christ.  HIS love is a gentle continuous flowing river of compassion, deep affection and concern, and it is because of His Love and attachment to us that we can love one another.  Robert E. Person's desire is to share this message with an all new musical installment focused on the divine love of God.

Multi-award winning inspirational jazz vocalist Robert E. Person has released his fourth indie album LOVE DIVINE.  This magnificently orchestrated and divinely written project includes a special remake of the hit "I Really Love You", written by one of Gospel music's favorite songwriters Dr. Norman Hutchins.  "I Really Love You" is Robert's second and current radio single that is climbing up the Gospel radio charts.

Listen to "I Really Love You"

Robert engaged several outstanding songwriters for LOVE DIVINE.  Rising Nashville songwriter Glyne Griffith and producer/musician Melvin "Maestro" Lightford contributed the worship ballad "Just Because" in which Robert eloquently provided his signature soothing vocal sound.  The first radio single from LOVE DIVINE, “Testify”, was written by Ayesha Daniels and arranged by Robert and extraordinary Jazz pianist and producer Allyn Johnson.

Tony Terry stops by Real Life Real Faith with Cheryl Lacey Donovan

    in Entertainment

Tony Terry is one of the greatest voices of this generation. He is such a beautiful spirit, an incredible talent and I'm happy to say that he will be on Real Life, Real Faith with Cheryl Lacey Donovan (An Elissa Gabrielle Entertainment Production) on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 8pm EST.

Terry is a graduate at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington. He signed a recording contract with Epic/CBS Records.

Terry's self-titled second album, released in 1990, included the single "With You" (his biggest hit) which reached the Top 20 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, as well as the Top 10 on the R&B chart.[2] "Everlasting Love", was a number-six R&B hit.[2] After leaving Epic, Terry moved over to Virgin Records. His debut album for that label was 1994's Heart Of A Man. The single, "When A Man Cries", just managed the R&B Top 40, but the album was a commercial failure.[2] The following year, Terry contributed background vocals on the single "Gotta Have Love", from Yolanda Adams's album More Than a Melody. He also appeared in the video. Terry has performed on the soundtracks to Gladiator starring Cuba Gooding, Jr., Tap starring Gregory Hines and King's Ransom starring Anthony Anderson. In 1991, Terry earned two Soul Train Music Award nominations: Single of the Year and Artist of the Year for "With You".
