A Just Cause Coast 2 Coast w/ Alex Daube, Rep of Fully Informed Jury Association

    in Politics Conservative

Sam Thurman, Cliff Stewart, and Ethel of the Colorado exoneration firm A Just Cause, discuss what happens when the wheels of justice trample unbridled over the rights of innocent Americans.

Tonight's Special Guests, are Alex Daube, a representative of "Fully Informed Jury Association," a group advocating the restoration of jury rights in the United States and Exoneree, Herman Lindsey, who in 2006 was wrongly convicted and sentenced to death row for a crime he didn't commit!

To learn more about the Fully Informed Jury Association (FIJA), advocacy group, please visit website: http://fija.org/ and to learn more about Herman Lindsey's wrongful conviction story, please visit Witness to Innocence website: http://www.witnesstoinnocence.org/exonerees/herman-lindsey.html.

Although the American system of justice is the most-respected worldwide, it is still a system designed, and operated, by humans, which means it's not perfect.  Sam and Cliff will highlight ongoing struggles against "the system" to free wrongfully imprisoned people, and what happens when justice miscarries against an actually innocent person.

A Just Cause is currently campaigning to help "FreeTheIRP6," who has been wrongly imprisoned in Florence, CO for a crime they didn't commit. To read full story, visit www.freetheirp6.org.

    in Current Events

In this episode of "The libertarian Perspective" Robert, Loki and Brandi will interview Kirsten Tynan, regional director of the Fully Informed Jury Association ( www.fija.org ), regarding the concept of Jury Nullification and why it is so important to America.

Given that America is facing serious Second Amendment issues today, jury nullification is going to be an important part of protecting patriots from unlawful government overreach.  Kirsten is going to tell us exactly how it works and, should you find yourself on a jury, how to properly educate other jurors on the panel.

Tribute To Ellen Craft, First Sargeant Michael Wiltz and Rev. Karla Cooper

    in Culture

Today’s program pays tribute to African Americans who have blazed trails for freedom, in military service and through global ministry outreach. Their selflessness and vision prove once again that Black History IS American History both now and in our past.

Ellen Craft launch one of the most outrageous and courageous escapes in history. Very fair skinned, she dressed up like a White man with her slave husband, who acted as her darker skinned valet and traveling companion, to achieve one of the most daring slavery escapes of the 1800s.

As First Sergeant for a Intelligence Unit, Michael Wiltz serves as the personal adviser to the Commander on all enlisted-related matters, particularly in areas affecting Soldier training. He travels the world as an Army officer protecting our country from terrorism.

And an international field study trip to Chennai, India turned into a God-inspired opportunity for Rev. Karla Cooper during her 2003 graduate years in seminary.  That fateful trip has yielded more than 125 Indian churches, now fully a part of the connectional African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Craft, Wiltz and Cooper, three role models who have helped make America become the multicultural mosaic that makes us so unique.

How to Shut Down the White Noise in Our Heads

    in Motivation

    From My Inbox:

Good afternoon Nadia, How are you doing? I hope you are doing wonderful! There is a question I have about noise in form of thoughts as well as surrender. I feel that the many thoughts are keeping me from doing what I want to do. I love moments of complete presence. They are quite rare in my life to date. I have postponed many things like reading a books, meditating, writing, listening, being here and now etc. because I couldn’t focus completely and be present. I guess in moments when you hear Christ, you are fully here and you know that feeling. Why are there many thoughts of restlessness? Can You and Christ give advice on how to surrender to being here and now in everyday situations?

Tune in Join in on the Conversation Tomorrow Morning at 5:30 AM!

A fight To The Finish Part 1

    in Christianity

What does it mean to you to fight to the finish or end well? What does that look like close up. 2 Tim 4:7 seems to provide a few answers to  these questions. It says "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith". Can you say that today, that you have fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith? Well I to like you have to ask myself this all important question and must ask frequently so as to determine where I stand in Christ, am I slowing down in my zeal for Christ? How is my excitement and desire for God's Holy word? Am I telling others about my personal testimony and how I have come to know the Lord today? Am I on my knees daily fighting battles, confessing sin and while still marching forward for the cause of Christ? With so much at stake in the battle between good and evil, flesh vs. spirit we want to be able to say we didnt buckle to the pressure, that we were fully committed and went the distance in faith with our marriages, our children, those family members outside of Christ, our integrity, purity and through pain, temptation, and of course all those times you felt like throwing in the towel, but you didnt. You yourself can echo the same words of the apostle Paul in 2 Tim 4:7. Lord help us all to endure and finish our race well.
