Meet Aliscia...Aliscia began writing as a youth by journaling and creating stories. It was a way for her to deal with her emotions and turbulent upbringing. She later picked writing back up when she became involved with the Youth Ministry at church. She would write short plays, speeches, and poems for the children to recite.
In 2012, Aliscia was re-introduced to poetry through friends and some personal struggles in her life. During this time she found solace in writing and her horizon was broadened....Join us as we explore her journey and discuss her upcoming book.

Meet author Ron Boehm. Ron will be my guest on the show to discuss his new book, The Boys on Cherry Street: From the Crazy Innocence of College to the Loss of Innocenc in Vietnam.
About the book:
The Boys on Cherry Street is a collection of stories both humorous and heroic. The stories start with the zany and outrageous antics of the author and his college friends and continues through his U.S. Marine Corps training, flight school and service in Vietnam. There are many great books written about the Vietnam War—its heroes, their courage and sacrifice. However, this book is different in that it also shows the keen sense of humor that some men showed in some of the most stressful situations imaginable. It was this sense of humor that Boehm believe was part of their coping mechanism that got them through the tense situations of combat. The book is a salute to the young men of the Vietnam War Era who answered their country’s call.
About the author:
Ron Boehm was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduation from Southeastern Louisiana College he went through OCS in the U.S. Marine Corps and was commissioned an officer. He was one of the first group of aviation students the Marine Corps sent through U.S. Air Force Flight School. After earning his Air Force and Navy Wings’ he flew the A6A Intruder in combat and served as a Forward Air Controller with the 7th Marine Regiment in Vietnam. Ron Currently lives in Houston, Texas has two children and owns a construction company. This is his second book.

Father who art in Heaven I stand in Awe

and Your Name is Worthy to be Praised. Father as

Your Loving Kindness's, Father I stand in awe of You.
Beloved, I sincerely Praise and Thank the LORD for You.

Beloved the LORD Our God is truly faithful. He is truly Our Provider.
He is truly Our Protector. And I Praise Your Name Oh LORD. Father
I Praise You and I Glorify Your Name. Yesterday was a Day of First
Fruits Beloved...We had plans however the Holy Spirit had even greater
Surprises in store for us. Father as I come this morning I just want to say
Thank You for the awesome message on the "Power of Prayer" delivered
by Our Faithful Sister in Christ Merline "DaughterofaKing" Jacobs. She was
right on point and that was one of the First Fruits as this was her first Planned
Lesson. And like I anticipated, She did an awesome job reminding us to Pray to
the LORD and not run to our Friends. To develop a closer walk with Jesus. Father
I Praise Your Name for Your Name is worthy to be Praised. A next First Fruit is we
had several powerful women of Jehovah-God on the line. Mother's and Prayer Warriors
who loves the LORD and His People. A huge surprise and a First, was inviting my friend
and Sister in the LORD, Evangelist Cherry Tucker to the Prayer Call. She Blessed the
Ministry and Encouraged Others to Sow a Seed...Beginning with her. Praise The LORD!
