    Co-dependency Checkup - Part One

    in Relationships

Because it is nearly the end of the year, this is a great time to reflect – to see where we are, and what we have grown through this year.

I believe a big part of that is checking in with where we are at with co-dependency. Are we still handing power over to things and people outside of ourselves, or are we more anchored into our own internal solidness?

“What Is co-dependency?” My definition of it is this: “trying to seek wholeness and internal peace from sources outside of self, rather than establishing those states within self”.

What this means is: we can feel empty, fragmented, afraid and powerless when things don’t go right, or life hasn’t turned out the way we wanted it to. We can get panicked and feel unsafe, and in this state we can hand our power over and make repeated choices which don’t serve us.

Co-dependency can be very serious. It leads us further away from integration of self (authentic powerfulness) and takes us down a slippery slope of disintegration of self (powerlessness) – especially if we continue to hold people and things outside of ourselves responsible for the state of our lives.

This radio show is a Part One deep spiritual journey into why we are co-dependent, the many ways that it manifests, and how we can shine light into our disowened parts in order to become a true Source to ourselves, rather than trying to gain false substitutes for love, worthiness and wholeness.

Independent Everything: LIVE with R&B/Pop Singer/Producer/Songwriter ~ Karma

    in Music

As soon as you hear the music of singer & songwriter Karma who is based out of Los Angeles, CA; you will quickly realize that not all Karma is bad. Karma describes her style as R&B sprinkled with a twist of Hip Hop and Soul. Since the age of 7, Karma who was born Paula Renee Joseph absorbed every ounce of music she heard which eventually led her to
embark on her own music career. Appreciating music from artists who may not be number one on the charts all the time, Karma notes artists such as Teedra Moses & Aaliyah as influences in addition to legends such as Mary J. Blige, Gladys Knight, Lauryn Hill & of course Aretha Franklin just to name a few. Karma learned at an early age that being versatile with music would lead to a well rounded career so she immersed herself in to Jazz, R&B, Soul, Hip Hop plus Pop music to help cultivate a unique style all her own.

With the goal to create music that doesn’t have an expiration date & to become a brand that people can relate to more so than just an artist, Karma jumped feet first in to writing, singing & production. Not only has Karma been the back-up singer for several artists including Sharon Maree, Steve Harris, Brooke Taylor, Sheena Player, Minh & Amber Melody, which has allowed her to tour opening up for the likes of the Isley Bros and Maze Frankie Beverly; Karma has also written songs for several artists exclusively under Heat Pharm Productions.

Karma is now back working on her new project tentatively titled “Karma is A…”

Do Men Typically Prefer Women Who Are Dependent Or Independent? Why?

    in Relationships

In our society, why is is that men tend to tip the scale in one direction more so that in the other?

As Steve Harvey puts it: Do "...all men (really) think alike?"...

    Is that EVEN remotely possible??

On both sides, could it be that Self-view, Self-value, and personal agreement (which comes off as so-called mass consciousness "reality") all play the most significant roles in arriving at such  decisions or conclusions - whether harmonious or inharmoniuos in their outcomes?

Let's find out on the up-coming Pluto-Nalagy Show.

It would be great if you  put aside some time to join us in this monumental discussion, which we believe can only be to your personal benefit.....i.e. from each  gender perspective (male/female)

    Be there!
