Rattle and Hum Sports Southeastern Conference Show Week 6
Hosted by Bryan Houston with guest Ces Guerra
RattleandHumSports.com host Bryan Houston welcomes author of the book “Gumbo for the Tiger’s Soul” Ces Guerra to look back at week five on the SEC gridiron and preview the action on the schedule week 6.
Texas A&M showed they were vulnerable against a solid opponent as the Aggies needed an improbable comeback and overtime to beat the game Arkansas Razorbacks 35-28. Why the 12th man should tap the breaks on “Title Talk?”
LSU may have found a quarterback as Brandon Harris took over for an ineffective Anthony Jennings while the Tigers crushed New Mexico State. With Auburn on the schedule week six, the time to find their signal caller was Saturday.
South Carolina fell to Missouri 21-20 after leading throughout that game while Georgia held off an improving Tennessee team 35-32. The Tigers and Bulldogs are on a collision course for the SEC East Title.
Alabama plays at Ole Miss this week after taking week five off. That game along with the LSU at Auburn matchup and the Aggies trip to Starkville, MS to square off with undefeated Mississippi State headline a list of great games across the conference.
Join Bryan and Ces LIVE at 8:00 am CDT as they talk SEC Football on Rattle and Hum Sports Talk!

Chad & Alta Dillard met and married in the early nineties in the city of Little Rock Arkansas. The marriage was one of destiny and as Alta would say, arranged. What they did not know is that from that moment on the couple would partake in a journey into the world of unknown and High Strangeness. From aliens to ghosts, to a shape shifter, from meeting people who have been seen, and some unseen, this is a story for the open minded. In 1995 Chad & Alta experienced their first UFO, a massive sight in Hammond, Louisiana. This experience opened their eyes and led them to the well-known French Quarter in New Orleans where the high strangeness continued. They met Jacqueline. Little did Jacqueline know this would be the most unusual bond of her life. In 1997 Chad, Alta and Jacqueline were taken from a street corner in the French Quarter. Alta calls this “the night of missing time” where the three have shared their own individual experiences. Everything from Chad’s blue being encounter, Alta’s blond female interaction, and an implant found in her arm and four digit prints. The High Strangeness continued when, in 1999, Chad and Alta moved to New Mexico where Chad went face to face with a black eyed adult and other anomalous happenings. Moving to Denver, Colorado for their jobs, and found themselves in the middle of the infamous Columbine High School massacre which occurred on April 20, 1999. In 2001 the couple found their way to Alabama where Chad works with his dad in the locomotive business. Their stay continues to bring High Strangeness into their lives. They discovered a sasquatch creature, ghosts, red orbs, lizard monkeys and so much more. Chad and Alta encountered their second UFO while driving across Mississippi in 2012 and discovered that one of their family members has had a similar experience. http://www.readingswithalta.com/

Patricia Hirsch, MCC, interviews Alain Cardon, MCC. Alain shares how over the years, working in executive, team and organizational coaching contexts has often been a challenge. Gradually working through the paradox of resistance to change or that people and systems ask for change in order to limit change, he has had to find strategies to accompany them, and himself in this exploration process. This has allowed Alain to develop specific individual, team and organizational coaching tools and strategies that he finds very powerful.
Master Certified Coach since 2002, mostly recognized for his specific competencies in systemic executive coaching, team coaching and organizational coaching, Alain Cardon is also a systemic coach trainer and coach supervisor with coach students in France, Belgium, Spain, Germany and Romania where he has opened a systemic coaching school in 2007.
As far as his personal style for executive coaching, life coaching, team coaching and organizational coaching clients, Alain has developed a direct, confronting and empowering coaching approach which may be defined as a blend of brief, systemic, creative, and breakthrough posture and techniques. Although French national and part-time resident, his intensely international personal life and career also makes it difficult to define Alain’s executive coaching heritage as originating from one or another coaching school of thought, one or another national frame of reference.

Montreal, PQ (Reuters) - May 28, 2003 - 11:59 Sarah Medhurst (nee Black) shocked journalists and legal scholars at a press conference held at the Black family estate Monday when she revealed that Black's Law Dictionary, a highly regarded legal reference text, was originally written as a joke by her eccentric great grandfather Henry Campbell Black.
Medhurst appeared unapologetic, suggesting that the Black family had never tried very hard to keep it a secret. "Have any of you actually taken the time to read it?” she asked, flipping open the renowned text.& nbsp; “Look at page 840 for instance. 'John-a-Nokes'? Or how about page 347? 'Correality – the quality or state of being correal." She then cast a challenging look around the room.Medhurst admitted that the entire Black family has participated in the century-long ruse, working together to generate content for the ever-expanding text. She credits her Uncle Bertrand with developing one of their most successful filler techniques: "We created more than 30 new entries just by using the word 'actual'. Actual agency - see agency. Actual allegiance - see allegiance. Actual authority - see authority. And on and on - you get the idea."
Medhurst admits that the family started to get lazy in later editions, at times resorting to stealing terms from other dictionaries. "I remember one time my brother pulled 'Le Roi' (literally: "the king") right out of his French-English dictionary to meet the deadline for the 5th edition while on a three-week ski trip in the French Alps." She claims the ploy has been used sparingly, however, and that the family put a stop to the practice.
