  • NFL Training Camp 2015

    in Rock Music

Wow I can't believe that this weeks show is officially the 1 year anniversay of my very first broadcast of "Hard Rock N Sports". The first episode was a NFL Training camp preview show, so Joe and I decided that this is the best way to celebrate our anniversary was to do that same exact show this week.

I will have my ususal panel of "experts" on the show to break down different teams. We will analyze each teams key additions and losses  (Free agents) and break down their off-seasons and discuss each teams expectations for the season. We will have our first "repeat" Celebrity guest as Red Ragon Cartel Bass Player, Anthony Esposito makes his second appearance on the show. While we will discuss what Jake E Lee and the band are up to, Anthony is also a big Sports fan and a huge NY Jets fan. so Anthony and I will discuss the Jets and I will ask him his expectations for his team for the season.

We will have our usual segments (CD Review & TWIBH) this week so please tune in to catch those as well.

A-rod continues to astound with his comeback season which is driving the Yankees to start pulling away from the rest of the division. The Mets made some big moves this week bringing some lineup and bull pen help and I don't think they are finished yet. So we will take a look at thier moves and see where these moves puts them in the race for the division / wild card race.

Finally, Roy Jones and I will discuss last weeks Hall of Fame Inductions. I want Roy's take on whether all of this years inductees were "deserving" of the honor. I will also put Roy on the spot and ask him, of all the eligible candiates for next year, who will possibly be enshrined next.

Lots to talk about and much to discuss, I am hoping that you will all tune in

    Keep on Rockin!!!

WTR: Confederate Flag, VA Comedy & Carmelo Rodriguez (Veterans Transition)

    in Military

Warrior Talk Radio with GI Jenn & Lance Taylor will be discussion the Confederate Flag issue, the VA Comedy hour (yeah... we are sharing the most outrageous VA stories) and then we will be talking with Carmelo Rodriguez from Veterans Transition.

Jenn and Lance will discuss the recent call for the Confederate Flag to be banned, along with the historical statutes and memorials.  We invite those opposed and supporting the ban to discuss.  Then we will be sharing some off the wall situations we have experienced.  Our listeners are invited to call in and share their stories, as well!

Carmelo Rodriguez works with the Veterans Transition/vetdocseries on FB. He started to film a reality show series about the transition from military life to civilian and all the struggles that's comes with it. He is a veteran who served in the U.S. Army for about 5 years. Carmelo was medically discharged because of an injury sustained while deployed. He served as a Calvary Scout team leader, ending his career on funeral honors detail. He went through similar issues our other veterans have faced, including divorce, alcohol abuse, nightmares, unemployment, and foreclosure.

Carmelo started this reality show series because he wanted our vets to know that they are not alone, as well as, allowing our communities to see and understand what vets are really going through. If done properly, he believes his show will not only bring the problems to light but will also bring a solution to fix them. His over all goal is to bring this show to a mainstream network because we are a huge community and I want the rest of America to see that all of our veterans are not "crazy" or "homeless". Some of our guys just need more help then others. I want to identify who we are, what we are doing and how we are helping each other.
