Join Author Anita Wills for the first episode of a open discussion on A Nation of Flaws JustUs in the Homeland. Families whose loved ones have been killed by Police Action will co host and share their stories. A Nation of Flaws is a book that goes back to the inception of Colonialism and the laws that allowed the killing of Natives for their land, their enslavement, and eventual removal from their ancients lands, to Reservations. Once Natives were dealt with African Slaves were brought into the Americas to work the stolen lands. Christianity was used as a means to Assimilate Natives and then Africans, although most European Christians broke every commandment in their Bible. The laws passed were meant to protect the White Male Patriarchy formed during the Colonial Period. America's laws, spoken and unspoken are a continuation of those same laws.
There are written and unwritten laws regarding the police killing of Minorities with impunity. Most Police Shootings are of African Americans, and then Hispanics, and then Natives. It is in fact Natives who have sustained the longest period of Genocide in history, over 500 years. African Americans are now in the cross hairs of American Justice and it is time to speak out. It is time to have an open discussion of the racism and repression visited upon people of color in America.
Join us as we have this discussion and share the stories of lives lost included in the book, including, Kerry Baxter Junior, James Rivera Junior, Mario Romero, Derrick Gaines, Antonio Guzman Lopez, O'Shaine Evans, Eric Garner, Sandy Bland, Aiyana Jones, Clinton Allen, Tamir Rice, and many more.
Jeremy "Bam" McDole was paralyzed and injured. The police who were called to help him shot him dead, right out of his wheelchair, on video for all to see. Terrell Day, 18, was suspected of shoplifting. He complained that he couldn't breathe. They ignored him repeatedly, until it was too late. He died. David Stojcevski was oulled over for a traffic ticket. Died in custody after 17 days in jail, without medical care, and after losing more than 50 pounds. In Fairfax County, VA, a black man is instructed to get out of the car and put his hands on the car. He complies. The video shows the officer tasers him regardless. The FBI will begin to collect more data on police shootings. Native Americans now have full legalization of marijuana on their terrorities. The latest Freddie Gray and Sandra Bland updates. And tales of more police abuses.

Tonight's episode will be very interesting, we'll be discussing topics about Baltimore City and around the world. The main topic would be about how could we strengthen our communities and the people who live there. Is religion the solution to our problems?
We'll also be discussing the Freddie Gray trial briefly. Police brutality is a very big issue especially in the lower income neighborhoods. Another topic is gonna be about the "Violence" in our communities, (when will it stop) why do we hate each other so much?
What is the best way to raise your children? With the iron fist or do you give them options? Do you be more of a friend than a parent?
What's going on with the education system in Baltimore City? Are the teachers underappreciated and very well under paid?
What about the up coming elections? Who are you with? What will actually happen? Who is for us?
What keeps you healthy? How much do you practice what you preach? Are you willing to step out of the box to better yourself ands the people around you?
These are just some of the few topics we will be discussing ton tonight's show. There will be laughter and emotions on edge, but we are all grown so keep it positive and respectful
Lamont Banks, Cliff Stewart, and Lisa Stewart of the Colorado exoneration firm A Just Cause, discuss what happens when the wheels of justice trample unbridled over the rights of innocent Americans.

OUR COMMON GROUND discusses the critical elements of how to move the slogan to the movement throughout the Black community. How and where we participate and input into the strategic plan and agenda.
The Black Lives Matter movement was born out of the pain and injustice of Trayvon Martin's death in 2012 and gathered momentum in the wake of the killings of Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Freddie Gray, Walter Scott, Tamir Rice and far too many others. The significance of this emergence was not so much the movement as it was the cry of our people declaring that “Black Lives Matter”. A cry for a need for a new liberation uprising for Black people in America. #BlackLivesMatter as a slogan met the need of Black people to declare its pain, loudly and precisely. Moving that slogan as the undergird of a movement is the hard part. Figuring how we ignite political and social transformation -- not just marches, Twitter feeds and shouting matches on- and offline is the real challenge. Learn more and share our broadcast.

Newsflash... elected officials were elected for their political opinions. No one expects them to shut up after their elected, so don't expect them to step down for exercising their 1st Amendment rights and continuing to express their opinion.
Baltimore man on the street, Corey "Prez" Duncan, talks about #BlackLivesMatter, Baltimore Mayor, and the arrival of Syrian refugees.
Corey says: City ordinance max on wrongful death is $900k, but she gave $6.4 million of taxpayer money to Freddie Gray's family before the case has been tried. Meanwhile, how schools have been shutdown because it's too hot to have student there? How many citizens are suffering in the heatwave? The Mayor should step down... or be run out of office!

Indianapolis City-County Council bans cell phone cases shaped like firearms. Thoughts?
72 House Democrats ask Obama to take in 100,000 Syrian refugees. Gulf states have taken less than 20, even though they would assimilate there easier. And when we had the flood of immigrants coming across our southern border recently, how many of THOSE refugees did other countries take? Are we a dumping ground?
Bernie Sanders wants to increase tax rate to 90%. Are you ready for that?
Florida Everglades want to ban airboats, thanks to the US government. More jobs lost. Sad.

"the daily complaint"
Every weekday we answer client complaints on The Daily Complaint to provide direction and resources for both the person complaining as well as other consumers experiencing similar issues whether it be mortgage fraud, loan servicing escrow issues, loan modification runarounds or denials, short sale refusals, deed in lieu negotiations and credit card debt collector abuses and fraud violations.
I routinely look for posts to answer in hopes that it will not only bring optimism to those homeowners and borrowers in distress but also some basic information to assist in fighting the banks that are "too big to fail" like Bank of America and Citi but yet don't appreciate the bailout that we provided in their time of need. The debt collectors like Ocwen and Nationstar are simply just piranhas but they can be beat at their own game too just like the big banks can be defeated.
We are committed to answering consumer complaints and addressing everyday credit and debt issues on The Daily Complaint and I thank you for your continued support!
We hope you enjoy the Show...
