Looking ahead to NBA Trade Deadline

    in Basketball

Guards Jeff Teague and Tyreke Evans have been added to the list of difference makers available on the NBA’s trade market with the deadline less than three weeks away.

The trade market is loaded with forwards such as Rudy Gay, Ryan Anderson, Markieff Morris, Terrence Jones and Corey Brewer.

Trades talks will heat up closer to All-Star Weekend in two weeks when all the general managers are on hand.

Three players who won’t be making the trip are Damian Lillard, Pau Gasol and Hassan Whiteside, which is hard to fathom based on their statistics.

With that in mind, Mike Scotto of SheridanHoops.com joined Sportsnet 590 The Fan radio to discuss the latest on trade rumblings, All-Star snubs and what the Clippers will do with Blake Griffin.

HEALING HANDS DISCOVERED IN A FATAL ROAD ACCIDENT

When Jerry Sargeant woke to a loud crash and flying glass in the passenger seat of a taxi cab in Romania, on his way to the airport, he had no idea it would be the birthing process that led him to discover an amazing healing ability.. ‘My families safety were all I was thinking about. The taxi was swaying backwards and forwards all over the road. It was crazy. It turned out we had hit two ladies crossing the road and the first lady came through the windscreen, hit me in the head as I was asleep, got sucked back out of the car and landed in the road. I don’t know whether it was the bang in the head or me seeing her soul hovering over her body once I got out of the car that kick started these abilities – maybe it was both’

    The Magic Began

Shortly after this incident Jerry pulled a migraine from his wife’s head but didn’t think too much of it. A few months later he was in New Zealand and a friend of his had a severe car accident. She was in intensive care in the UK. Doctors told her she would be in hospital for at least a year and may never walk again. Her partner phoned Jerry up and asked if he could help.‘’I got my crystals out and lay down on the bed. All of a sudden I was in her hospital room and energy started pouring out of my hands. I mentally put her body back together again. She left hospital in 12 weeks and she walked out. The most amazing part was that once she did she phoned me up and said that she woke one night, looked at the side of her bed and said what are you doing here? She was talking to me. I had imagined myself in her hospital room and she saw me, as clear as day, with her physical eyes’’.......

Jerry will be going into more detail on the show. Dont miss it guys......Sarah May X

The Captain's Very Special Guest: Ted Taupier

    in Politics

America's corrupt and dangerous judicial system is out of control.  Mr. Taupier sent an email to several friends.  When one of those friends sent it to,  a West Hartford family-law attorney, she then sent it to the judge that was presiding over his divorce case:  After that, Mr. Taupier and his children's lives have been ripped apart and shredded.

Now, Mr. Taupier is now facing 3-5 years in prison.  This is what happens when too many people have too much power.  Our Bill of Rights forwards us the opportunity to a fair and unbiased trial, but when the outcome of the trial is pre-determined before anyone even shows up to the courthouse . . . We no longer have justice.  We have tyranny.

False allegations and childish tattling by the very people running our justice system and law enforcement agencies have free reign to run roughshod over anyone they see fit.  NO evidence, no proof, and no probable cause to do so.

Hear Ted Taupier discuss his case tonight .  Find out that you are a target as well . . . it's only a matter of time.  America must be informed so we can protect ourselves.  Don't get caught sleeping - Your life depends on it.

Listen to WIIM Radio: Season Opening Edition

    in Hockey

Welcome to a new episode of WIIM Radio! We've got Kyle, Graham, Joseph and me along with another fantastic prospects report from Michelle.

Reminder: WIIM Radio is rated for adults. Please don't let babies listen to it if they've already been born. If unborn, please play this episode through a speaker played directly into the womb. This helps their development.

At any rate, here's a rundown of topics we went over:

The goaltending battle - Who won the right to start on opening night? Does it even matter who takes the first game?
Building out from the blue line - Injuries in camp have changed things up, but how is the Wings' defense going to look this year? Can Quincey-Green cut it until DK gets back? Will Kronwall-Ericsson be able to handle tough duties? What's going on with the third pair?
DYYYYYLLLLLLLAAAANNNNNNN LAAAAAAARRRRRKKKKIINNNNNNNN - Hey, have you heard of this kid? He's good huh? How good is he? What makes him special compared to the other well-performing prospects? What about the other forwards?
Prospects report - Michelle gives us the scoop on the kids outside the Wings roster right now.
Reader questions - This is where we circle back to your questions to make sure we haven't missed anything in a segment that includes Graham saying something mean about Andersson and Tangradi.

Remember, you can download or listen to the episode via the link above or on our Blogtalk Radio page. You'll also be able to listen via iTunes by searching for Winging It In Motown there.

    WIIM Radio: Training Camp Edition

    in Hockey

Welcome back to another episode of WIIM Radio. For this show, we had Michelle, Joseph, Kyle, and me on to discuss the latest happenings with the Red Wings just prior to the preseason games starting. We had lots to cover, so let's go over the rundown.

The Prospects Tourney - Michelle was in Traverse City for this event and gives us her rundown of who looked impressive and who looked... well, less impressive in the Wings' 2nd place tournament showing.

Main Wings Camp - In this segment, we went pretty heavily over the system adjustments, the defensive logjam, the plan for the forwards, and the observations of Kyle and Michelle from camp, as they both attended.

The Blackhawks' Awful Decision - I wanted to clarify some things on what a bad idea it was for the Blackhawks to do pretty much everything they did in bringing Patrick Kane to camp (as a note, if you don't feel comfortable listening to this segment, we have a notice in the episode when we're going to start talking about it. You can skip from 1:03:35 to 1:09:00 and miss the whole thing if you'd like).

Prospects Report - Not all of our prospects were in Traverse City in the last two weeks. Michelle gives us the rundown of the kids playing elsewhere right now.

Reader Questions - You asked about 20 questions and we answered most of them. This is always one of my favorite segments.

As a reminder, we do use adult language on WIIM radio (though not as much as last week). Please be aware of that before letting toddlers listen.
