Choosing our Next President - Are you the Right Person

    in Self Help

I am very concerned about the future of this country.  We need to be participants and not nay sayers.  Our next President has a lot of problems to face and will need all the support of this country behind him or her.

We elected a Prsident who was a former actor and divorced and made one hell of a President.  Don't look at our candidates as whether they are accomplished politicians more as if they would be good CEO's.  We need a good CEO for the US so that he will make a statement to the rest of the world and be a good steward of our economy.  He/She needs to be the best of the best and restore the polish and stature to the rest of the world.

I am open to hearing suggestions of who would make a good President - let's get out of our own way and do what's best for this country - it can be a really thankless job but we need someone with character and fortitude.

Are you up for the job?

His Grace, His Blood, HIs Mercy by Chizelle. T. Archie

    in Spirituality

Chizellé T. Archie hails from Atlanta, Georgia by way of the sunny Gulf Coast of Mobile, Alabama. She is a Registered Nurse for the Infectious Disease Program with Grady Health Systems.

Several years ago, after noticing the alarming statistics of the HIV rate of African American women, Chizellé became fed up with the way her African American brothers and sisters (young alike), were beginning to settle for any and everything, in that having safe sex was not an option anymore. Lastly, what disturbed her most was there are so many people sitting in the church pews each Sunday masking their hurt, because of the stigma associated with this epidemic, and yet the one place they feel most comfortable is the one place that leaves them feeling so alone.

In 2010, Chizellé landed on the literary scene with authority, and it was with great fortitude that she penned her debut novel, The Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Diamond, in which her life experiences have allowed her to grab hold and take nothing less, realizing she is a Diamond! She continues the story in the sequel, His Grace, His Blood, His Mercy!

    Are We Christians In America?

    in Moms and Family

When will the Christians truly stand up in America so the President can see the witness of faith stands true and God always has a remnant. The confusion we are having in the faith is not new to America because Martin Luther King questioned the fortitude of the church during his God ordained assignment of civil rights in America. In his letter from a Birmingham Jail he chided the church to be God intoxicated that they would not be astronomically intimidated. The Church seems to intimidated today by the issues that diametrically  oppose the faith. We could glean a lot from Martins letter!

The Gift of Cancer- A Miraculous Journey To Healing with author Brenda Michaels

For fourteen years, Brenda Michaels battled cancer. Then one day she surrendered to the experience and found the gift in her disease. The Gift of Cancer: A Miraculous Journey to Healing speaks to anyone on a journey of wellbeing, whether suffering from a life-threatening disease or merely desiring to live a better, more fulfilling life.

After Brenda’s third cancer diagnosis and being told she had a year to live, she boldly stepped away from the accepted medical model, said “no” to chemotherapy, and chose alternative treatment. This unorthodox path, the connection of mind, body, and spirit, which many experts now believe is the key to true healing, ultimately saved Brenda’s life and put her in control of her own destiny. Her story reveals the immense healing power available within each of us.

With each obstacle Brenda encounters, we see the indefatigable courage and fortitude she demonstrates in facing her demons both inside and out. Michaels’ uplifting memoir encourages us to listen to our inner voice, trust our intuition, and look at the true source of healing.
