The Race Trim MotorSports Hour #19

    in Sports

It’s another rare Friday where the guys are forced to keep the Frat House Sports Garage open late – just too much work to do before tomorrow’s Saturday night NASCAR racing at Richmond International Raceway.

First though we're looking back over last Sunday’s “Bristol Marathon” which saw 11 cautions, four rain delays, and a G-W-C finish. Matt Kenseth picked up his first checkered since 2013 while the “Pesky Boys” were wrecking each other and Denny Hamlin, with sudden mysterious neck pain, was replaced with wunderkind Erik Jones. What to make of it all? The “guys in the garage” are chatting it up.

We’ve got rare Saturday night racing at Richmond and we’ll have our own Brandon on the ground track-side. While drivers like Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick and Denny Hamlin have a history here, could we see Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart get their first win of the season?

There’s drag racing going on this weekend at the Royal Purple Raceway, and Frat House Mike will be updating NHRA in his report on activities in Houston.

Uncle Mark is going Over the Wall; Sidekick’s got his Fantasy picks; and the rest of the guys are jumping in with their Eat-My-Dust Picks!

    As it’s Friday night, we’ve got the beer . . . if you’re stopping by, you bring the pizza . . . and your comments to the Frat House Sports Garage . . . by giving a call to 347 - 826 - 9964!

    Private Exchanges and Pet Insurance

    in Business

On this morning's program, the hosts will be discussing private health insurance exchanges, pet insurance and more with special guests from Accenture and Hartville Pet Insurance Group.

For the first segment on today's program, Scott Brown, Private Exchange Offering Lead at Accenture, will be joining the program to discuss the firm's latest private exchange research. Accenture estimates enrollment in private health insurance exchanges doubled to six million individuals for the 2015 plan year. The company projects hypergrowth will continue through 2018, as a number of factors inhibiting early growth will dissipate, while several accelerators will spur further adoption. These factors, combined with the employer’s desire to meet consumers’ demand for choice and flexibility in a retail-like shopping experience, will lead to 40 million members on private exchanges by 2018.

The second guest on this week's program will be JoAnne Novak, AVP Business Development at Hartville Pet Insurance Group, providers of ASPCA Pet Health Insurance.  As one of the oldest and largest pet insurance providers in the U.S., Hartville has committed itself to helping more pet parents have access to reliable and affordable pet insurance plans. According to the American Pet Products Association, roughly 68 percent of U.S. households have a pet, and last year, over $15 billion was spent on veterinary care. In this segment, JoAnne will discuss what’s driving the increasing demand for pet health insurance as a voluntary benefit as well as what makes pet insurance relevant for the workforce in connection with health care consumerism and private exchanges.

THOR ROUNDTABLE MEETING "EXPOSING THE CHILD SUPPORT AND CHILD SERVICES SCAM"

    in Education

    MIGHTY THOR RADIO NETWORK PRESENTS;

EXPOSING THE CHILD SUPPORT AND CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES SCAM!

THOR is fully aware of the sensitive nature of the Child Support and Child Protective Services. Indeed THOR is a proponent of both Mother and Father supporting their sons and daughters collectively. However THOR also is no stranger to the fact that the State, Federal Government, Law Enforcement and Private for Profit Agencies rake in billions of dollars in "profits" under the deceptive banner of care for the children.

The recent cold blooded killing of the Asiatic (so called Blackman) in North Charleston South Carolina, where the Police Officer (Caucasion) shot at a man eight times (hitting him 5 times) killing him dead, has brought this subject matter to surface. It was discovered the man Walter Scott 50 years old may have fled the traffic stop due to owing 18k in back Child Support resulting in multiple outstanding Warrants.

This incident has caused THOR to revisit this Child Support Scam and to expose the Racket for what it is, what is does, and wnat it results in for both the Mother, Father, and son, daughter. Make no mistake about it, this is a Revenue, Profit generating Racketeering scam that leads to forced Imprisonment for the Weak and Poor, and Discrimination amongst other things. The corporations involved are in many cases mere debt collectors, creating its own debts, and acting as Creditors when they are not.

The most destructive of the entire scam is the wedge it places in between the American Family perpetuated by the State and Federal Government for the sole purpose of MONEY.

JOIN BROTHER SHARIF & A ROUNDTABLE OF MEN AND WOMEN WHO WILL EXPOSE THE SCAMS OF CHILD SUPPORT!

    Simplicity Radio Welcomes Lillie Leonardi

    in Spirituality

Former law enforcement professional Lillie Leonardi has always lived with her feet planted in two separate worlds—the metaphysical and the physical. In the Shadow of a Badge: A Memoir about Flight 93, a Field of Angels, and My Spiritual Homecoming takes readers on a dramatic journey of what happens when Leonardi’s two distinct realities intertwine.

During her work at the Flight 93 crash site in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and as a result of the fateful events of September 11th, 2001, Leonardi was forced to confront her connection to the divine—something she has struggled with since youth. Her stirring personal account of the 12 days she spent acting as an FBI liaison carries readers into a world that combines the factual and logistical with the angelic and mystical.

After witnessing what she describes as a “field of angels” during her first hours at the crash site, Leonardi must finally reconcile the opposing sides of her life. Readers walk with her through the diagnosis of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), experience the guilt and fear that grip her, and share in the remarkable transformation of her soul as she discovers that forgiveness—of self and others—can be the best remedy.

As an inspiring example of what it means to be called to service, Leonardi shows that it’s never too late to find your spiritual path and life’s purpose.

A Unique Life Fully Lived with Karen Kain

    in Spirituality

Karen Kain is committed to helping children who are living a unique life experience by supporting their parents. In 1994, her daughter, Lorrin, was severely vaccine injured and at that time Karen’s world fell apart.  Life as she knew it was put “on hold” as she tried everything that she could to “heal” Lorrin and give her the best life possible.  Karen was forced to over come massive rejection and isolation as she hurdled obstacles and adapted her life to find success as a parent of a unique child. What Karen did not expect on this journey was that she herself would learn, grow and even heal from her experiences. Lorrin it turned out was always the teacher.  Lorrin was totally comfortable with who she was, even though she was cortically blind, nonverbal, and a quadriplegic who lived with uncontrolled seizures for her entire life.

When Lorrin was 3, Karen made a pivitol choice to embrace Lorrin’s uniqueness and enjoy all areas of life, living without rules and boundaries.  Karen overcame life’s massive roadblocks as she raised Lorrin. Together they held their heads high as they paved the way to giving all parents permission to explore and enjoy life.  Karen found that the solution to winning in this life of parenting a unique child started with being committed to having a great attitude and perspective regardless of their situation.  She is the author of A Unique Life Fully Lived.  www.karenkain.com
