    Encore - Good for 4 Kids on a Food Truck!

    A dynamic duo of south Florida  women have come up with an amazing idea, good food for kids via, Super Duper Grub 4 Kids, the first food truck in the U. Sl didicated to providing fresh, whoesome food for growing appetites.  Their mission is to provide toddlers to teens their favorite foods with a healthy twist at a good value.


    Shirley Gutkokwski will find out more about  how they came up with the idea, where they will take their food truck and  what they will serve. Laura Bonilla is the Grub Master, a self-proclaimed foodie, entrepreneur and health conscious human. Jean Wilco is the Director of Fun, and event planner, she is a pescetarian and loves to cook. These two women put their heads together to create a business that provides healthy food for young people, but also gives back to the community by aligning with and donating to local organizations that provide social services for children in need.  


    There are many lessons to be learned  here, the obvious one is all about the kids, and after that  we learn about two women who have decided to create a business that solves social and economic problems.

    Food trucks have hit it big in the last few years. Before that, food trucks were generally just thought to serve coffee or basic sandwiches to construction workers.  Now, people are excited about food trucks like they are going to the opening of a new restaurant. They serve gourmet food, everything from tacos to specialty cupcakes. Chicago is a city chock full of foodies and great restaurants. But rather than be on the forefront of the food truck boom, Chicago’s food truck laws are extremely prohibitive – restricting what they can serve and where they can go.

    Warriors Make NBA Finals, Blackhawks, Rangers Force Game 7's (05-28-15)

    Despite battling scary head injuries, both Klay Thompson and Steph Curry lead the Golden State Warriors to a clinching Game 5 win and the Warriors first trip to the NBA Finals since 1975.  Dave looks at how the Warriors' strong shooting and roster depth put them into a resounding series win against the Rockets and James Harden's efforts.   What was lacking from the rest of the Rockets, Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza, and the others?   We then look ahead to this year's NBA Finals between the Warriors and the LeBron James led Cleveland Cavaliers, plus we look at the NHL Stanley Cup Conference Final Game 7's in Hour 2.  The Blackhawks force the Ducks into a Game 7 in Anaheim, and the Rangers force the Tampa Bay Lightning into a Game 7 up in New York.   A most epic, impressive, exciting series so far for the West Final between the Hawks and Ducks... what were the best moments of a spectacular 2015 West Final in the NHL?   Game 4 goes into Double OT, Game 5 goes into single OT after the Blackhawks improbably tied it up down two with just 2 minutes left, only to lose to the Ducks in the OT.   Game 6 showed mettle from the Blackhawks who responded greatly with big goals from Andrew Shaw and Marian Hossa to force the winner take all Game 7.  How about Derek Brassard scoring a hat trick in a wacky 3rd period for the Rangers leading NY to a blowout 7-3 win in Tampa Bay?  All this and more as we cover a big week in sports -- we may hear from the Junk Man on the road with his food truck tour plus much more from MLB on a most action packed DITCOW.
