    in Environment

Growing your own food is the best way to eat organically, especially if you want to avoid gmo's and neonicotinoid pesticides. Regardless of where you live or what method you choose to grow food, it all begins the same way…with a seed! In The Complete Guide to Saving Seeds by Robert Gough and Cheryl Moore-Gough, you will find the largest and most comprehensive resource available about seed saving. The book contains a myriad of priceless information that the educated and conscious gardener should know including: the botanical nomenclature, isolation requirements, seed collection process, germination information, information about invasives, which plants you cannot harvest seeds from, overwintering instructions, how to transplant and so much more! Cheryl Moore-Gough holds an M.S. in Plant Sciences from Montana State University, where she is now an adjunct assistant professor in horticulture. Cheryl has taught and coordinated the Montana Master Gardener program and has published numerous works. Today’s Topic: Reflections on last Thanksgiving Day.

Be Thankful poem, Author Unknown (read)

There is nothing you can dream that you can’t achieve

Have the courage to go after your dreams and believe

Always remember you are beautiful and unique

Never give up when going after what you seek

Keep reminders around to remind you of your dreams

Savor the present for it goes quicker than it seems

Give more to others than you receive

Inspire others with all that you achieve

Value yourself. You are perfect for you

Individuality is important so let it shine through

Notice the small miracles all around you

Greatness starts from within and is in all that you do

Thanksgiving daily, not yearly. Personal reflections. Family Tradition.

The ROAD TO RECOVERY Hosted by Daniel Czuba - on to the 6th Step - and HAPPY ...

    in Radio

...Open your doors and invite someone that you may know will be alone to join you at your table...Holidays can be trying times for Individuals with an Addiction. As MY Sponsor once told me - "DANNY - IF IT AFFECTS YOUR SOBRIETY IN AN ADVERSE MANNER - THEN DON'T DO IT!" Good advice throughout the year, regardless whether it is a Holiday or just ANY OLE DAY! Because I work a program that has kept me sober - I am Thankful for the many invitations that I receive these days for me to join others/family /friends /Clients at their tables alongside their Parents / Children / Cousins / Friends. Not something that would have happened to me BEFORE I sobered up. In fact our AA Club will be hosting an ALL NIGHT Vigil in order to KEEP THE DOORS OPEN FOR ANYONE WHO NEEDS THE COMPANY OR COMPANIONSHIP - Ultimately keeping ALL OF US SOBER! We will play cards, eat food, hold Discussion / Meetings - all with the intentions of keeping oneself for gettings lost in our minds. A place that when I was initially Sober - was considered to be a VERY BAD & UNSAFE PLACE TO GO. Having completed the 12 Steps repeatedly over these past 20 years, I no longer have to avoid ALONE TIME, as I have long since Forgiven Myself and have made amends with many individuals that I hurt when I was actively caught up in my Addiction.

Join me/Us EVERY SUNDAY EVENING FROM 7 to 9 PM as we Broadcast LIVE - our persoanl day to day lives, and experiences as well as what it took for us to get and to stay CLEAN & SOBER. Or call-in number which will allow you to share comments, thoughts, criticisms, & even your own personal EXPERIENCE /STRENGTH / & HOPES, (YOUR STORY) with our audience. You might be amazed at how listening or even participating with our program can bring comfort to you or anyone that may need support or knowledge of recovering from an addiction. Our Call-In number is 323-580-5755 - JOIN US - AND HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Aliens, Alien Abductions and UFOs/The Apocalypse- Say NO to War

    in Science

Tonight, we will discuss the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, and then move on to talk once again about preparedness. Are you ready to deal with long term power outages, food shortages, lootings, break-ins, water shortages or dry wells, an Electromagnetic Pulse Attack? It is not fun to talk about such things, but they can happen and it is not wrong to be prepared as fully as possible. I will also talk a bit about holiday jitters and stress, (time permitting) and suggest ways to cope with the unrealistic expectations and let down that often accompany the holiday season. Now is a very good time to feed your spiritual self, as the holidays approach, and in light of the odd things that are happening to the Moon. Settle disagreements with loved ones and reconnect to Father and our Spirit Guides! Feel free to e mail me with your coping strategies!
