We will finish up the study of Lot and the deep rooted sin of his daughters in Genesis 19.The fact is illuminated that we need to be careful to identify and deal with deep rooted sin so that it does not impact our new place of blessing.
Then we will transition into the word for today: I rather follow God. Here, Shadrach,Meshach, and Abed-nego refuse to bow to the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar made. We have to be grounded in the Word of God. We have to be steadfast unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord according to 1 Corinthians 15:58. Setting an example for God's glory IS doing His work! I want to encourage you to obey God and develope a strong desire that makes your heart and actions say I RATHER FOLLOW GOD!

What is the best and worst advice you ever followed?
Some of our best deisions come about when we recognize and follow God-given wisdom from others. As well some of our biggest mistakes result when we listen to someone who appears wise but does not honor God. The three Psalms of Wisdom in this study offers good counsel from the most reliable of sources: God's Word. Far more than pointing you toward specific good choices, these passages when followed can develop principles that can be applied throughout life.
Join us for intecessory prayer as we start our week seeking the face and favor of God and interceeding on behalf of those that need our prayers.
9 am Sunday morning Divine Service for Sunday 6/28/15. Traditional liturgy and law gospel sermon. Pastor Sollberger’s sermon from the gospel of Mark 5:21-43.
The Gospel is not about us, but rather is for us.
The gospel is not about what we do…it’s about what Christ has done for us. The woman who was healed after a 12 year blood disorder represents the church. When Christ asked “who touched me”, it was for our benefit. He desires to know each of us by name. Furthermore, Jesus ended the need for the flow of blood in the tabernacle.

BIBLEBOOKCLUB: OT: 2 Kings 17:1-18:12, NT: Acts 20:1-38, Psalm:148:1-14, Proverbs: 18:6-7
In today's OT scripture, the King of Assyria replaced Israel with foreigners who didn't know how worship the God of Israel and didn't know his requirements, so many were killed by Lions. They asked the King to Assyria to send them people who knew how to serve the God of Israel. They king of Assyria sent a Jewish exiled Priest and let them teach them how to serve and worship God. But God said to the descendants of Jacob "YOU MUST NEVER FORGET THE COVENANT I MAD WITH YOU; YOU MUST WORSHIP ONLY THE LORD AND HE WILL SAVE YOU FROM ALL OUR ENEMIES" FRIENDS, ALL THE PEOPLE THAT COME INTO OUR COUNTRIES BRING AND SERVE THEIR OWN GODS. BUT WE MUST ONLY SERVE THE LORD GOD OF ISRAEL! THEN GOD WILL FIGHT FOR US AND WE WILL HAVE THE VICTORY!
In the United States of America, we enjoy a lot of freedoms that other countries don't. We have a Constitution that was written to articulate these rights. Is it really a big deal if those rights - for instance, the 1st ammendment, 2nd ammendment, marriage (one man + one woman) - are taken away or tampered with? What's the impact REALLY? Are we making too big a deal over this stuff? What does God have to say about it? Listen this week as Dr Pauline & Catherine talk about this very important and all-too-timely subject.
As always, we welcome your comments and questions through Facebook (Dunamas Center Ministries), and Twitter (@YourDunamasLife).

In this segment I will be talking about God and His attribute of holiness. The Bible says, "God is Love." 1John 4:8. Have we misinterpreted His love towards man to be contrary to His word? I will be talking to you about what people say about God and who He is. Tune in because it will be interesting and eye opening of what people say about God. I will also be giving you Scripture verses about who God says He is.
Committing Even the Smallest Sins Make Us Guilty of ALL
NOT BY WORKS of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us” (Titus 3:5). Read the following words spoken in Isaiah, “But we are ALL as an unclean thing, and ALL our righteousnesses are as FILTHY RAGS; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away” (Isaiah 64:6). God hates sin so much that He can’t even describe it in words we would understand. So God instead tells us what He thinks about all the good things we do—they’re nothing but filthy rags in His sight. Don’t misunderstand—God loves good works, but God hates when we trust our self-righteousness to get us into Heaven. Salvation is receiving, not giving. If you are trying to please God with the nice things you do in hopes of making it to Heaven someday, you're in for a horrible surprise! Why? Because committing ONE SIN makes us guilty of ALL in the eyes of God... “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet OFFEND IN ONE POINT, he is GUILTY OF ALL” (James 2:10). Whoa! That doesn’t sound too fair does it? The point is that a sinner is a sinner. Whether you sin once or a thousand times, you are still a sinner in need of a Savior. Adam and Eve sinned just once but that was enough to bring them under the condemnation and judgment of Almighty God.
This is the last show of the season and I felt it was great to end out on a show about being too comfortable. We get far too comfortable in our relationships with God. God is so patient with us and despite our sinful ways, he sent his son to die for our sins. His hope is that none of us should perish even though we have free will to do as we choose (2 Peter 3:9). However, we take advantage of his grace all the time and do the opposite of what we should. I know from my experience that turning away from God and going into the World is the most foolish decision I have ever made and will ever make. It was not worth one ounce of it and God tried to steer me away every step of the way. I could have avoided so much unnecessary pain and wasted time. I know many can relate to this as well.
Even though God loves us, there is a time when he will allow us to do what we want in sin and he will step back and allow us to face our consequences (Romans 1:24). Yes there is grace and a chance to be forgiven, but if we push him away too much eventually we won't hear the Holy Spirit anymore. We cannot be saved without being forgiven and how can we be forgiven if we do not have the heart to repent? The Holy Spirit brings true repentence (2 Corinthians 7:10)
We also take advantange of others here on Earth and we take people for granted. We think that we will always have the option of having someone around when this is not true. As I mentioned on Instagram, even the nicest person has a limit.
