JENNIFER ORN I have lived all over the country. I was born in MN and due to my father’s job (Federal Bureau of Prison’s) we moved around a lot. Virginia, California, Alabama, Pennsylvania and Tennessee are all on the list. When I was approximately 16, we ended up back in MN. I’ve also briefly lived in TX and OK as an adult. I received a softball scholarship out of high school to a DII school in MN. After being there for one semester, I realized it wasn’t for me. So, I enlisted in the MN Air National Guard. After completing AF basic training I completed the AF Security Forces Academy. A few months after completing all of my training I returned to my home station in St. Paul, MN. I was then sent to Desert Warfare Training with others from my unit and ultimately deployed for 6 months to Saudi Arabia. After I returned home, I continued my college education. I received my A.S. in Law enforcement and got hired on with a local police department (WI). I attended the WI State Law Enforcement Academy and I worked at that department for a little over 3 years. I ended up leaving that department to pursue a few other things. I ultimately ended up at another department in central MN. After being at this department for almost 2 years, I decided to resign.I am currently a professional dog trainer and animal behavior specialist. I attended a dog training school in TX and will be starting an internship at a dog training facility in another part of TX. I have already started my LLC (Liberty K9 LLC), and am just waiting to return home to get that going full swing.I have 3 awesome dogs, a wonderful boyfriend.

Bullied for two years in middle school, Maya Claridge says it was the darkest and loneliest time of her life."I don't want people to feel alone, like I did."Which is why Claridge, now a freshman in high school, has joined with her management team and publicist to embark on the Bullied to Bold outreach tour, speaking in middle school and high school classrooms and assemblies throughout Colorado.
In sharing her personal experience with bullying, from name-calling to rumor spreading to exclusion and cyber-bullying, Claridge hopes to empower kids to rise above hurtful words, to find the strength to battle against self-hatred, to overcome fear, loneliness and humiliation, to know that they are not alone and to learn to love themselves."I like who I am now and I want others to like who they are, too."
Claridge's positive message of hope encourages kids to both ask for help and to offer help, all the while inspiring them toward strength and perseverance. "When you stop giving other people the power to hurt you, you grow stronger and they grow weaker."It isn't that Claridge's experience with bullying is necessarily worse than others that makes her message so powerful, but rather that it is similar to what thousands of kids are experiencing on a daily basis in our schools and on-line.
They are able to relate to her and connect with her, thus she can reach them on their level and help them realize that there is hope.
1. What prompted you to write the song?
2. Let's talk about the root of bullying? From the You Tube, we found people who..
envy others, secretly harbor ill will, exclude others, gossip, and seek to harm.
How do we apply the two word sermon...STOP IT!! ?
3. What's your final advice today to move from "bullied to bold"?

The Blackhawks began the back half of their season with a 2-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche last night, thanks to some line tinkering from Joel Quenneville and a stout Corey Crawford in the 3rd period. The Hawks reached the All Star break with the top seed in the West, but GM Stan Bowman needs to make some trades before the deadline to help this undermanned team. Cam Newton had some interesting words about being an African American quarterback in the NFL. Is the age of absurd racism at that position finally behind us? The Bulls look like a mess as they continue their road trip tonight against the Sacramento Kings. Is it time for Gar Forman and John Paxson to call it quits on contending this season? If they don't make any moves at the deadline, should their jobs be on the line? Call in @ 347.327.9183! BECAUSE CHICAGO LOVES SPORTS.
