What was the "thorn" in the flesh that Paul was referring to in (2 Corinthians 12:7-10)? Bible scholars, church leaders and Believers have debated the form in which the demonic angel delivered this infirmity to the Apostle. He admitted that the Lord God allowed it to come upon him to prevent him from becoming conceited by the incredible revelation and authority he had been receiving from the Holy Spirit.
Even though he pleaded with God to take away his thorn three different times, the Lord God did not heed his request and simply replied, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." God basically said, "The fact that you are being roasted, stewed and barbecued means nothing to Me! Keep it moving brother and DON'T give the devil any credit for what you are going through; this is MY WILL and it is pleasing in My sight!"
Instead of complaining, Paul assumed the posture of boasting in his infirmities so that the power of Christ would REST upon him! Wow, just think about that for a minute; how many of us BOAST in the "trouble" that comes upon us? How many of us cut tail and run at the first sign of adversity? Do you piss and moan in the wake of hardships? What does your thorn represent?

The Holy Spirit to righly divide The Word Of God.
My son, to my words give attention, To my sayings incline thine ear, (Proverbs 4:20)
Let them not turn aside from thine eyes, Preserve them in the midst of thy heart. (Proverbs 4:21)
For life they [are] to those finding them, And to all their flesh healing. (Proverbs 4:22)
Above every charge keep thy heart, For out of it [are] the outgoings of life. (Proverb
WHEN THE FLESH REFERS TO FLESH IT SUGGEST OUR EVIL NATURE, WHEN THE CRAVING FOR SELF SATISFACTION REARS ITS HEAD IN OUR LIVES, THAT'S THE FLESH .WE'RE QUICK TO SHIFT THE BLAME WHEN SIN CATCHES UP WITH USTHE REASON WE'RE EASILY TEMPTED TO GRATIFY THE FLESH IS BECAUSE IT'S GRATIFYING .WE FEEL BAD AFTERWARDS BUT WE STILL SIN.
This episode of Pnematikos will explore the power of the Word of Yahweh to give victory over the flesh. In the biblical documents the flesh denotes the intrinsic principle within the members of an individual that incites one to acts of sin. The flesh can only be defeated by the Word of God and reckoning oneself "dead" to the practice of sin. It is a volitional decision that is done once for all,and therefore free's one to live a life of practical sanctification.
Then God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before Me. For the earth is
filled with violence because of them;and behold, I am about to destroy them with
The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the
earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all
By the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of
water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water.
By His word the present heavens and earth are being RESERVED FORFIRE, kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of ungodly MEN.
God did not spare angels when they sinned, (Arch Angels bound in the river Euphrates) who but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for JUDGEMENT (OF THE NATIONS) AND did not spare the ancient
world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.

King James Version (KJV)
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Please join me Tuesday Jan. !4th at 11am CS Time as we talk about the life of The Spirit. The mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God. Were not going to compare sin- Because sin is sin. But The Spirit of The Lord will help us put the deeds of the body to death Ro 8:14; We are the sons and daughters of God when we are led by The Spirit. Ro 8:14.
God sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh as an offering for sin.He condemded sin in the flesh.
He condemned sin in the flesh, (Romans 8:3)
so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. (Romans 8:4)
For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. (Romans 8:5)
For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, (Romans 8:6)
because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, (Romans 8:7)
and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8:8)
We do not want to be hostile toward God.But the mind set on the flesh is exactly that. It does not subject itself to the law of God. But there is a remedy! And that remedy is a choice of following The Word of God and not the opinion of man.
What was Paul's thorn in the flesh? Does the Scripture give us any indication of what it could be? Actually, it does. In this episode, Pastor Brian will evaluate the different theories and will show which theory holds the strongest answer to the problem.
