Guest will be Keith Swerling- Animal Rights Advocate
Keith Swerling in 2012 started FLAGGING Animal Sales on Craigslist which now has over 5,000 members. Keith started the group because he was following the Urgent cats and dogs being posted to the NYC ACC. Every day Keith would be reduced to tears. He tried pledging a few times but almost all of the pets were killed, Keith also has been admin for Lost Pets in Rhode Island for 2+ years. Keith's goal is to post close to 100% of lost and found pets in the state
Once Keith realized that all of these (BYB) Backyard breeder pet sales were flooding our shelters with puppies, and the endless litters being created just for sale on CL, Keith had to get the flaggers organized so we could be statistically effective. Although RI Lost Pets has more than enough Lost pets, I realized that Massachusetts, Connecticut, NH, ME, and Delaware do not have the same level of devotion to getting 100% of the pets reunited, so I started those pages. MA Lost Pets
Keith probably have messaged, talked to or chatted with 99% of all the lost pets and found pet owners in RI, MA, CT, and NH Helping Lost Pets.com is a National Pet Registry. When a pet is listed, we send email and text alerts to our members in the area. We provide tools to make it easy to share the pet listings on Social Media. We are connected with Animal Shelters, Humane Societies, Lost and Found Pet Recovery Groups, Veterinarians, Pet Rescues and many other pet businesses and organizations.

in Self Help
Get this! For students with disabilities, including those with ADHD, who asked for accommodations when taking the LSAT to get into law school, scores were flagged as such, opening the door to discrimination by a law school to choose which students were and were not accepted. Now, after pressure from the US Justice Department and the American Bar Association, the application process for accommodations on the LSAT are being expedited and are more transparent. Most importantly, the practice of flagging accommodated test scores has been discontinued. In this episode of Attention Talk Radio, we interview attorney Rob Tudisco (http://www.roberttudisco.com) on his advocacy around this issue, the victory, and what it means for the ADHD community. If you have ADHD or are impacted by it, you need to listen to this show and celebrate for the community.

City of Champions Radio host Matt Gajtka returns for the latest episode of Burgh Brew, a highly-caffeinated dose of Pittsburgh sports news. The Penguins are out of the Stanley Cup playoffs and have already made one big move in the front office. What other changes can we anticipate? The Pirates have lost six of eight, with the starting rotation letting them down continually. Are there any solutions for the flagging Bucs? Also, a couple former Steelers want back in and the winless Riverhounds make a large adjustment of their own.
We often talk about representation in various mediums but it seems apparent that we only focus on racial, gender and ethnic representation. in recent years however the LGBT community has been fighting for representation in the entertainment industry and winning.
however in the gaming the world, where homophobia is almost allowed to run rampant, representation is definitely flagging.
so tonight we're gonna yap on and on about for at least 30 mins...
you've been warned.

HIDDEN FROM PUBLIC VIEW
Many medical organizations in this country are making mistakes that kill and seriously injure patients. This information about these tragedies have been hidden from public view. A spokesperson for the HHS’s Health Resources and Services Administration who oversees the Data Bank says they have a responsibility to make sure under federal law that information in the system remains confidential.
What they are failing to realize is that the National Practitioner Data Bank original intent was to be a flagging system for organizations credentialing healthcare professionals. The Data Bank has done nothing to protect the public and only created a secret bank to keep the people from knowing that some doctors and medical personnel have serious infractions against them, ranging from drug and alcohol abuse to child trafficking. The organizations want to suppress this information from the public. David Baker and advocate like so many others are trying to change this. The people have the right to know.
