WHEN IS TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING TOO MUCH!

Even the most nutritious foods should be CONSUMED in MODERATION!

Finding the right balance is not too difficult if you are aware that foods no matter how healthy they are are loaded with CALORIES.  Even if they're QUALITY CALORIES, those CALORIES ADD UP if your portion gets too big.  Rememver, if you overdo any one food, you leave less room for other foods that provide a different mix of nutrients.

AH, the benefits of foods like tomatoes, avocados and fish, but overdoing it on these healthy foods are actually detrimental.

    Finding the right balance...

    STAY TUNED...

OLIVE OIL...lowers risks of heart disease...etc.

    AVOCADO...helps to reduce bad cholesterol...etc.

Choose foods that provide a different mix...etc.

    NUTS, get a different mix...etc.

    LARGE FISH, TUNA...etc.

Easter Sunday Celebrations: Why all the spectacle?

    in Christianity

Did the Indiana legislature go too far to protect their perceived loss of religious freedom? What's wrong with that bill and others like it?

How protected are you and your children from predators in the church? A Memphis Sunday School teacher did the worse kind of violation to one of his students.

This week, churches across the world will be celebrating the day denoted as the ressurection of Jesus of Nazareth from the dead. Many churches will fill auditoriums and pack stadiums for their "Ressurection Sunday" services. In other places, people will do the "Seven Last Words" or will re-enact the last moments of Jesus. While scripture is clear that he was not the only person to be raised from the dead, why will millions of churches and billions of believers celebrate his ressurection? How and why should we celebrate the ressurection of Jesus Join Pastor Neal as he discusses this and more.

Author Kenni York's New Release and The Sexual Assault Awareness Event

    in Lifestyle

Kenni is a 31-year old author, sexual assault awareness advocate, and entrepreneur. Her literary works include Ask No Questions (murder mystery), A Girl's Perspective (poetry), Merrilittle: Murder in a Small Town (young adult murder mystery, 1st in a series), Striving for Happily Ever After (marriage self-help), The Girls (Urban Fiction), My Dad is an Army Man (children’s book) and the Karma series (Contemporary Women’s Fiction).
Passionate about her chosen field, Kenni created her own company in 2012, Kenni Enterprises LLC, which specializes in teaching creative writing classes for youth and adults throughout the metro Atlanta area. The company also facilitates workshops and seminars, provides one on one tutorial sessions to help middle school children strengthen their writing skills in preparation for scholastic, writing based tests in addition to offering copy editing services for various online magazines, ghostwriting services, and author consultations.
Kenni and her company are dedicated to active community involvement. Annually, Kenni hosts a youth book drive to promote summer reading amongst school aged children.  Over time, this initiative has worked to provide several county recreation centers, daycares, children’s hospitals, and children shelters with reading and educational materials for their youth. Additionally, Kenni organizes and hosts an annual benefit event during National Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April entitled Let Your Voice Be Heard. As a sexual assault survivor, Kenni feels it is important to get the word out about this growing epidemic in order to encourage men and women to raise their voices against this common and life-impacting crime.
