The Yehudah Project- Who we really are?

    in Culture

Our goal at the Yehudah Project is to establish open communication and build a bridge with love to combat the negative spirits that attempt to attack our men and women through hatred and division. We want to recognize and appreciate each other through love, support and accountability while taking responsibility for our behaviors and actions.

STOP the abusive dialog between our Hebrew men and our Hebrew women, because we are experiencing the same identical hardships today and we need to heal each other with love.

It is mandated by YHWH for us to come together and pray: we are a nation of people with dual nationalities and we have to open dialog as a nation to prepare ourselves and our families for the changes that are about to happen according to the Word. Children are won through the union of the man and the woman. Let’s remember our children learn what they live!

STOP ABUSING EACH OTHER AND LET’S TALK!

    World Literature Final Project

    in Books

In this final project, I wrote letters to one of the characters in the short story, The Spy. I wrote a letter to a boy named Klaus Heinrich. Klaus was a boy who was in Hitler’s Youth Program. His parents were very hesitant to trust him because of this. In the story, his father makes some bold political remarks that make his mother worry if the boy will take offense and decide to turn his parents in. When they are arguing, they fail to notice that Klaus has left the room. The mother becomes extremely worried at this point that he has run off to betray them. When he returns, he says innocently that he was going to buy some chocolates. His parents end the story, still not totally believing him. In my letters I write to him to ask him about his culture. I also ask him some personal questions about his family and how he feels about the Hitler Movement. Well that is all! Enjoy my first online radio!!!

Beagle Freedom Project: Shannon Keith on The Authentic Woman w/ Shannon Fisher

    in Pets

The Authentic Woman Host, Shannon Fisher, is excited to welcome her guest this week: Shannon Keith, President and Founder of the Beagle Freedom Project (BFP). Keith's organization fights for animal rights on many levels, from fighting for legislation requiring humane treatment of laboratory animals to physically rescuing beagles used in laboratory testing and helping them assimilate into life outside of the lab - and ultimately finding them loving homes.

Beagles are the most popular breed for lab use because of their friendly, docile, trusting, forgiving, people-pleasing personalities. Most beagles used in experiments have never seen grass, the sun, or anything outside the walls of a laboratory. They have received little or no affection & are often afraid of people. Beagle Freedom Project is doing some amazing work in bringing joy & love to these animals.

The Authentic Woman is a weekly radio show hosted by women's rights leader, Shannon Fisher, offering perspectives on the female experience in America. The show delves deeply into the worlds of writers, artists, celebrities, and community leaders. Shannon Fisher on the web: Facebook - Twitter -  Links to Previous Episodes of The Authentic Woman. Hybrid Jazz From Trish Hennessey - with Joanna Pascale!

    in Music

When you see Joanna Pascale's website, you'll see the quote from her regarding her new project.  She says, "Wildflowers grow unter the most unlikely circumstances.  You'll find them in the most unlikely places.  From the beginning, that's how my journey has been."

Joanna Pascale IS a "Wildflower."  Strong and resilient, unexpectedly beautiful and unique.  Her presence in the world of Jazz is appreciated - this writer speaks for many.  She LOVES the music, is grateful for the Masters and Mistresses that came before her, and dearly craves to bring those voices from the past to YOU - in her OWN voice :)  And what a gift that is!

When Joanna was attending Philadelphia's High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, a fellow student and friend was Bilal.  He joins her on "Wildflower", as does someone who has known her for equally as long.  That's the well-respected pianist - and producer for this album - Orrin Evans.  Who else is on this spectacular effort is enough to make your ears burn until the end of 2015!  Let's just say The BEST of the Best.

The new work from Joanna comes at a time when a successful ten-year run at Philly's Loew's Hotel was coming to an end. Sad as it was for all concerned, it gave our guest wings.  She was ready to get involved in HER music, having blessed other artists with her vocals on THEIRS.  She still has her day job at her alma mater, Temple University, and she reaches hundreds of students each year with her teaching abilities.  But this is where Joanna shines in a particular way.  She won't touch a song unless she feels it.  When she soaks her soul into the meaning of a classic, it's like you never heard the song before NOW.  This Lady Was Born To Sing.

Join Joanna and me on 5/5 - your ears will thank you!

    in Politics

This Can't Be Happening (TCBH) is a five time Project Censored award-winning online news writer collective.  From their web site: "Our goal is to give you the stories you aren’t getting from the corporate media, or to give you the stories you are getting from them, but from a different, and more honest, perspective."

    Program Summary: May 5, 2015

1st Hour - a pre-recorded segment of TCBH radio from the Progressive Radio Network (PRN.fm) hosted by Dave Lindorff which airs every Wednesday 5pm (Eastern)

2nd Hour - RFK goes live with TCBH contributor John Grant. John Grant is a writer/photographer/filmmaker living just outside Philadelphia’s city limits. He has worked as a newspaper reporter and has published both fiction and non-fiction. Starting in the 1980s, he traveled to Central America and other places as a documentary photographer for publication and for exhibits of his own large prints. He shot and edited an 80-minute documentary film called "Second Time Around" about a seriously wounded Vietnam veteran who chose to live and work in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 35 years after his first tour there. John has been to Iraq twice during the war, once as an observer critical of the war and once as a cameraman on a documentary film.
