Unbound by J.B. Simmons combines...
"The Da Vinci Code meets The Hunger Games meets Left Behind"
Unbound is an apocalyptic thriller by J.B. Simmons. The first book in The Omega Trilogy follows 18-year-old Elijah as his nightmares of a dragon turn into reality when the beast of the end times is released. The recently released novel is getting great reviews.
Simmons offers a fascinating glimpse into the way our world could look in 50 years. Mixing futuristic technology with historical places and end-times theology, Unbound is both thoughtful and entertaining. As many reviewers have said, you won’t be able to put it down.
From the back cover:
He must be released for a little while. But the one who sees doesn't believe.
Elijah Goldsmith has nightmares he needs to ignore. Why would a rich kid from Manhattan dream three straight nights about a dragon and the destruction of St. Peter's Basilica? He's never even been to Rome.
Burlington, Ontario – “It’s not what you eat, it’s what’s eating you,” says stress-less weigh-less expert Irene Jorgensen.
Irene is the founder of Clear Your Cravings, a weight loss coaching practice dedicated to teaching professional women struggling with food cravings and stress eating how to use their overeating as a gateway to weight loss and body confidence. As the creator of the 7 Steps to Your Natural Weight and Body Confidence System for Professional Women, Irene shows how to engage with overeating to control food instead of letting it control us.
“Most people try to ignore their overeating, but what’s underneath is still there and is constantly working at trying to get your attention through cravings,” says Irene. “We don’t deny emotional overeating; we explore it to determine the emotions at the root of our overeating."
Irene’s clients are typically women who have been dieting for years on-and-off and no matter what they do, they still struggle with losing weight. Irene helps her clients navigate the subconscious blocks that sabotage our progress: the food cravings; the stress-eating; the compulsive overeating.
Irene says she is an emotional overeater herself and spent her 20s on every diet imaginable. She spent the next twenty years studying emotional overeating, but it wasn’t until Irene discovered Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT, that the final piece fell into place.
“EFT is a perfect tool to access our subconscious blocks,” says Irene. “Once we can identify what’s underneath the emotional eating, we use EFT to unlink the limiting beliefs, the blocks and clear the emotions."

Good morning, good morning, GOOD morning!!! Happy Friday, ya'lls. Man, oh, man, you know it's been one "heaven" of a week, but it's o.v.e.r. for some of us. Anywho, as I lay in the bed, just after waking up, and thanking God for another day, the words, "just start somewhere," entered my head. I'm like, okay, is that the topic of today? Why not, sounds good to me. So today's topic is, JUST START SOMEWHERE. A lot of times, we have ideas of things we want to do, things we might want to stop doing, but don't know how to get to a starting point. Well, starting something, begins in the mind, so make up your mind, that you want to start somewhere, on a particular journey. Put one "foot" in front of the other, and go. Perhaps you don't know where to go, how to go, but trust, there are others who've gone before you. Seek someone out, a mentor, someone who has already been there, done that. That's a great starting point, but whatever you decide to do, JUST START SOMEWHERE, so that there CAN be an end to your journey. Please don't hesitate to drop me an email or a love offering at firstname.lastname@example.org, using http://www.paypal.com, or perhaps you need my services, which can be acquired by visitng my business website, http://theredhawk1967.wix.com/stwrhtheshow. Thanks in advance for any outreach you decide to do

Mind of Mansion Podcast Episode 2.19: Matt Kelley @fantasy_mansion laments NFL draft analysts comparing every prospect to their best case NFL player.
Duke Johnson did not flunk the NFL Scouting Combine.
Tevin Coleman's pro day 40-time could rocket him up fictional big boards. While Coleman would have a good college wide receiver, he will likely be a great NFL running back.
Kevin White's superb 40-time has rendered his small hands, not that hand size matters much for wide receivers anyway.
Dorial Green-Beckham's 3-cone drill was the most impressive time logged at the Combine. DGB is not Calvin Johnson, and that's just fine.
Jaelen Strong's burst should push him up fake big boards.
Amari Cooper is a more agile Sammy Watkins.
Devin Funchess has a 1/32 chance of being as productive as Kelvin Benjamin as a rookie.
No good comparable for Sammie Coates? No problem. Let's just paste Darrius Heyward-Bay's hands on Terrell Owens.
Can Jameis Winston be better than Dan Marino? His ceiling just became Peyton Manning.

Gospel of Matthew 5: 1 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them.3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Zechariah Chapter 12 King James Version
God is telling Zechariah about a time in the future when he will give full power and strengh to Jerusalem and it will be full of the power of God, God says that he will destroy any nation that comes against her. God says that in that day he will pour out a Spiritual blessing upon the house of David.

During the first half of the 20th century, the largest internal population shift in U.S. history took place. Starting about 1910, through the Great Migration over five million African Americans made choices and "voted with their feet" by moving from the South to northern cities, the West and Midwest. In the 1920s, the concentration of blacks in New York led to the cultural movement known as the Harlem Renaissance, whose influence reached nationwide. From A. Philip Randolph to Marcus Garvey, sociopolitical designs for self-determination became the model that pushed towards sociopoliticah shifts within the American construct.
How did these extraordinary people develop and sustain such constructs? Are they relevant during current times? Join us as we talk about how the Harlem Renaissance shaped identity for black American and the nation.
