2013 marks 40 years of filmmaking, starting with the formation of The Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Office in 1973, by Gov. Jimmy Carter. The office is a division under the Department of Economic Development. Various venues around Georgia will host screenings and festivals. Get a chance to see "Zombieland", part of which was filmed not too far from me, here in Paulding County. The Coca-Cola Festival and the Peachtree Village International Festival will also host events.

David has worked on over 35 films as a director and or cinematographer. Stars like Clint Eastwood, Bruce Campbell, Shelly Winters, Dennis Hopper, and Roy Scheider have appeared in David’s films. Alan has been teaching screenwriters and running courses for over 20 years. He has taught in Canada, the USA, Europe and the UK. He currently offers online classes and also works one-on-one coaching writers.
Alan is about to launch an Intro-Series - how to come up with, develop, and write a great screen story.
