Life Changes with Travel with Natalie Que

    in Travel

I have travelled extensively around the world and in varying ways; raised in UT, I left after University and lived in Seoul for 19 months and then Taipei for 15. I was home for a year before moving to Australia for 7 years, living in both Sydney and Melbourne and traveling the region extensively -road trips up and down the coasts of Australia, campervanning Tasmania. Travel to Fiji, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Japan, Philippines, Ibiza, Guam, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, China, I also spent 3 months in a Campervan with my family trying to save my crumbling marriage in New Zealand, covering a lot of ground on both islands! It didn't work... I spent another few years in Australia before moving back to the States, and lost for what to do with my life I joined a travel dating website. I went on blind first dates to South Africa and Israel, and trips to Paris, Istanbul, Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans and Germany with the same two men (individually) over the course of 2 1/2 months. I just returned from my own solo trip to Mexico. I've also alone traveled elsewhere. There is still more but perhaps this will suffice for now! I'm writing a book and starting my own podcast called Escape the Narrative. I'm a mother of two children, my field is journalism and PR but more recently I've been a spokesperson, writer, model and actress. Not only do I have extensive knowledge and interesting stories, I'm also willing to open up and talk about my life, my divorce and the changes in my journey and how I have travelled differently in response to those changes.

Positive Impact Radio-Anca Micoara Enrolled Agent - How to Avoid IRS Audits

    in Entrepreneur

2 pm Central, "Positive Impact Radio," host Carol Wachniak

Understanding Tax Return Preparer Credentials and Qualifications

Any tax professional with an IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is authorized to prepare federal tax returns. However, tax professionals have differing levels of skills, education and expertise.

An important difference in the types of practitioners is “representation rights.” Here is guidance on each credential and qualification:

UNLIMITED REPRESENTATION RIGHTS: Enrolled agents, certified public accountants, and attorneys have unlimited representation rights before the IRS. Tax professionals with these credentials may represent their clients on any matters including audits, payment/collection issues, and appeals.

Enrolled Agents – Licensed by the IRS. Enrolled agents are subject to a suitability check and must pass a three-part Special Enrollment Examination, which is a comprehensive exam that requires them to demonstrate proficiency in federal tax planning, individual and business tax return preparation, and representation. They must complete 72 hours of continuing education every 3 years.

Certified Public Accountants – Licensed by state boards of accountancy, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. Certified public accountants have passed the Uniform CPA Examination. CPAs may offer a range of services; some CPAs specialize in tax preparation and planning.

Attorneys – Licensed by state courts, the District of Columbia or their designees, such as the state bar. Generally, they have earned a degree in law and passed a bar exam.  some attorneys specialize in tax preparation and planning.

    Convergence with John Carosella

    in Spirituality

John Carosella hosts Convergence, a journey into shamanism, science, and mysticism, exploring our beautiful world. Making the mystical accessible to the scientific-minded, and bringing the language of science to the Mystery, John brings provocative, new perspectives to living, learning, healing, and discovery.

Hi Everyone - Welcome back! This is Convergence, and I'm your host, John Carosella.
This month I share some thoughts on Loving 101 (there’s a double-entendre in there somewhere) on a rainy day.

I also had the pleasure of letting the Universe guide me to my guest, which was a pretty cool story in itself. It’s opened the door to a new segment – A Voice from the Ether. Check out part one of my conversation with Blaise (I’ve come to think of him as “The Traveler at Home”).

And we’ll have a Roundtable with HiC and Mildred Lynn on the topic of “loving yourself through your work" based on David Whyte's book "Crossing the Unknown Sea: Work as a Pilgrimage of Identity".

Come join us. (OH - and check out the show's new website - ThisIsConvergence.com )
