CUBANOS IN WISCONSIN BY SILVIO CANTO JR
Dr. Julio Antonio del Marmol is the son of the principal financier behind Castro's Revolution, Leonardo del Marmol. Due to the close relationship he had with Fidel at that time, Leonardo was able to get the young Julio Antonio's letter detailing his idea about training an "army for the future" into the hands of the new Commander-in-Chief. And so it was that, at the age of 12, Julio Antonio became the youngest Commander in the Rebel Army ("el Commandantico") and the Commander-in-Chief of the Young Commandos of the Rebel Army. In this position, he was a part of the Fidel's inner circle, and so saw firsthand the plans the Castros and their friend, Che Guevara, had for the island of Cuba. Alarmed, he went immediately to his father to warn him of the impending betrayal, only to be met with an outraged dismissal from the house. Utterly disillusioned, he confided everything to an uncle in Havana, only to learn that his uncle had been a spy since World War II. Convinced by his uncle's passion, Julio Antonio underwent intensive intelligence training, becoming the youngest spy in Cuban history before he had even turned 13.
Over the next decade, until politicians blew his cover in 1971, Julio Antonio took secrets right out of Fidel Castro's very office and transmitted them to U.S. Naval Intelligence at Guantanamo. He became the most-hunted spy in all of Cuba, codenamed by Castro himself as "the Lightning." His cover blown, he is given 48 hours to get off of the island before Cuba's G-2 counterintelligence agency catch up with him to put him before the firing squad.

CUBANOS IN WISCONSIN BY SILVIO CANTO JR
Here at North Florida Writer Live we’re sure that the topic for Wednesday night is, at best, confusing to understand. But we’re fortunate to have our frequent guest, Meg Norris of Opt Out Georgia, bring us some exciting news about what is going on in Georgia to push for legislation to dramatically change the Common Core disaster that we see all over this great land. Meg also informed me about a businessman who has great knowledge of the real Cuba, Alex Gimenez, who will tell us about the plight of the poor Cuban people. An American by birth born to parents of Cuban and Argentinian descent, he is concerned about what we don’t know about Cuba. While we are opening doors and lifting the embargo against Cuba per the President’s executive actions, the Cuban people are living under an internal embargo courtesy of the Castro regime. The poor citizens basically own nothing and serve as serfs for the state. In the words of the late and great Paul Harvey, Alex brings “the rest of the story”.
Alex is the father of two grown children and he is also very concerned about the educational system here in America and in his hometown of Atlanta. So we’ll also get his take on Common Core and what a good businessman with international experience, not a crony-capitalist as a lapdog to the state, thinks about the process and what should be done about it.
It should be a great discussion. The show goes live Wednesday night at 7. You won’t want to miss this one. See you then.

On October 21, 2006, the effusion of a reddish substance was noted from a consecrated Host during the Eucharistic Celebration at Tixtla, in the Diocese of Chilpancingo-Chilapa. The Bishop of the place, Most Reverend Alejo Zavala Castro, then convened a Theological Commission of investigation and, in October 2009, he invited Doctor Ricardo Castañón Gómez, to take on the leadership of the program of scientific research whose purpose was in fact that of verifying the said event.
The Mexican Ecclesiastical authorities turned to Doctor Castañón Gómez because they were aware that, in the years 1999-2006, the scientist had conducted some studies on two consecrated Hosts that also bled in the Parish of Saint Mary, in Buenos Aires.
The Mexican case starts in October 2006, whenFather Leopoldo Roque, pastor of the Parish of Saint Martin of Tours, invitesFather Raymundo Reyna Estebanto lead a spiritual retreat for his parishioners. As Father Leopoldo and another priest were distributing Communion, assisted by a religious sister who was to the left of Father Raymundo, this latter one turns towards him with the “pix” containing the Sacred Particles, looking at Father with eyes filled with tears, an incident that immediately attracted the attention of the celebrant: the Host that she had taken to give Communion to a lady parishioner had begun to effuse a reddish substance.

Join us, Friday, 29 Jan. 2016 at 9 pm Eastern Standard Time on Carson’s Corner with the Election Boycott Advocates. This week Bob Carson and Chris Driscoll will take a look at two important aspects of the current presidential election: what is this Democratic Socialism people are talking about, and what is the true power of the presidency?
FDR was a Democratic Socialist, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders assures us and a robot army of Sanders enthusiasts echo the claim. Democratic Socialism isn’t worker ownership and management of the means of production, as Marx, Engels, Lenin, Mao and Castro assured us, it's a nice comfortable social services state with a capitalist economy and imperialist foreign policy, Bernie tells us. But where’s the the truth? What is real socialism? And why is it crucial we get it right?
What’s the real power of the presidency? Is Obama a puppet, a mere figurehead, or the most powerful dictator on the planet? More and more these days we see the claim that the American president is controlled by others or even that a “deep state”, a “state within a state”, makes all the crucial decisions. And were--and how--does the capitalist class fit in this scheme of authority?
Bob and Chris will ferret out the truth from the lies, the mythology from the reality on these two topical issues.
