Join the Bougie Girl as she discusses the 6 questions which she longs to ask feminists.
On January 24, Huffnágel Pista, Lucian Vâlsan and James Huff, will be covering the news for the latest week and then will engage in a discussion with the callers regarding the trustworthiness of dissenting feminists.
As the pressure from the MRM at large increases upon the feminist narrative, more and more feminists start to act as if they’re not “like that” in an attempt to confirm the old tired NAFALT narrative.
From feminists like Belinda Olsson who dared to question the feminist establishment to its roots in Sweden to Christina Hoff Sommers who outright wrote a piece on AVFM – the so called dissenting feminists pop up everywhere and they’re likely to increase in numbers. But can they indeed be trusted? Are they genuinely dissenters with an honest interest in gender equality (as opposed to supremacism) or are they rather infiltrators and/or co-opters?
Listeners are invited to call in at (001) 310 388 9709, or Skype in after the news, and engage in this discussion.
The show will commence at 7 PM GMT (London, Reykjavik and Lisbon time).
That is 8 PM CET (Madrid, Paris, Brussels, Rome, Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Budapest, Berlin, Vienna, Warsaw, Amsterdam, Bern, Bratislava, Prague, Belgrade, Tirana, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Sarajevo and Skopje time)
That is 9 PM EET (Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Kiev, Chisinau, Bucharest, Sofia, Athens, Ankara and Nicosia time)
That is 10 PM FEET (Minsk time)
And, finally, 11 PM Moscow time.
For the listeners in America this means 2 PM EST, 1 PM CST, 12 PM MST and 11 PM PST.
For the listeners in Australia, this means January 25, 2 AM (AWST) in West Australia and 4 AM AEST.

On Thursday August 28th, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. the Hermetic Hour with host
Poke Runyon will present an interview with one of the New Age's most
enchanting and inspiring spiritual personalities Maitreya McClendon
Wexler. Maitreya was a famous model on the fashion scene, cover girl and
glamorous diva who married a man of great power and influence in the
entertainment industry. With the resources to support her world-wide
quest for spiritual truth from a feminist perspective she traveled from
the Far East to the Amazon seeking the wisdom of the masters to support
her vision of the Divine Feminine -- not the feminine of the anti-female
feminists here at home, but the true power and beauty of the Eternal
Female archetype. Those of us involved with Feraferia can easily
understand this and will relate to Maitreya's vision of the Goddess. She
has collected a marvelous film record of her spiritual adventures which
we can view, and has written and published several books on her vision.
She has established resource centers where like-minded and hearted souls
can come together to study and meditate with her. So, if you would like
to meet her and share an hour with her discussing her experiences and
her offerings to us, tune in and be enchanted.
Has feminism destroyed families and brought down society? Has it caused woman and men to swtich roles. Feminists want to be treated equally except when it involves money. They still want men to pay for most things. Most want a man with a decent job. Why do we have a generation of feminized boys and girls that talk down to boys/men. This topic was inspired by a shocking article that I had read. It was about this 22 year old woman who thinks that reducing the male population by 90% will solve everything! What is the world coming to with these ideas coming from these young girls? It will be a very interesting show indeed.
Where is the link to the article: http://www.vice.com/en_uk/read/is-reducing-the-male-population-by-90-percent-the-solution-to-all-our-problems
Priceless wisdom was handed down to me be my elders, southerners born in the late 1800s and early 20th century who migrated North, who were sharecroppers and domestic workers, business owners, medical professionals etc.
They made it easy for me to thrive. My childhood was charmed as a result. I learned and played hard with no interruption. I truly am a child of MLK's "Dream".
Just this morning I read about young black feminists who said they would/would not "march" for Eric Garver because "'nuff black women out here providing soft landings for your b!tch @sses, I am not one of them".
Obviously there is more going on here than the murder of a man that many of us saw lately via a passerby and his camcorder. The situations involving the two women, one dead one not, mentioned in this show are not as cut and dry as Eric Garver or even Trayvon Martin.
On this week's agenda: a Beyonce sighting, how to make friends, Pope Francis's internet, male aggression on public transit, baby feminists, black immigration and white perception, plus this week in menstruation.
How to make friends as an adult
The pope is so wrong about the internet
A story about defusing hyper-masculine aggression
Awesome baby feminists
Black people, white perception
lol at the phrase "accused of menstruation"
Trista Hendren, author of the Girl God Series, namely the books, The Girl God and Mother Earth, both for young readers, is with us tonight discussing her two current aforementioned books and the upcoming one for boys on the Divine Feminine. The Girl God was nominated for the 2014 Amelia Bloomer Project, an annual booklist of the best feminist books for young readers by the Feminist TaskForce of the Social Responsibilities Round Table of the American Library Association.
Crossing the threshold into the second half of the show, Anne Scott, writer, speaker and founder of DreamWeather Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing programs for women in different sectors of society is with us discussing Women's Wisdom & the Sacred Feminine. A rich conversation will no doubt be had as we discuss being of service, visions and dreams, women reclaiming beauty, her work with homeless women and her forthcoming book, The Forgotten Song, chronicling the power of a circle based upon the feminine principle.
"Upfront & Straightforward" Host Alan Roger Currie emgages in another 'Open Forum Discussion,' with this episode asking a number of guest panelists their thoughts on the pros and cons of modern day feminism. Some of the questions to be discussed include:
- Have marriages improved or worsened because of feminism?
- Is feminism to blame for the rise in divorces and never-been-marred women over the age of 35?
- Do men use their criticisms of feminism as an invalid excuse to disrespect and abuse women?
- Is being a feminist now synonomous with being a misandrist?
- Are women happier today compared to their pre-feminism female ancestors?
- What do modern day feminists think of Esther Villar's bestselling book, The Manipulated Man?

Are black women responsible for maintaining the African-American race and culture or is the need for black women in the African American society being minimized? What exactly has the black man's role come to?
For some popular bloggers and feminists, they believe that the black womans increased burdens is largely because of a lack of responsibility and love from the black man. The real question is, how did this happen and how do we change it. Tune in to this conversation.
