Gwendolyn Denise Lewis was born and raised in Houston Texas. After graduating high school in 1983 she moved to LA to pursue a career in acting. While in LA she met up with her now ex-husband Terry Lewis of which she had met previously in Texas at a Prince concert. In 1984 they moved to Minneapolis Mn and got married. Her daughter Chloe was born that same year. Being married to Terry Lewis gave Gwen great opportunities to sing background vocals for Alexander O'Neal,Janet Jackson and many other secular artist. Gwen even sang background on the theme song of the hit comedy show "In living color". She divorced in 1991,her life began on a downward spiral out of control. Gwen began looking to the world to fill the emptiness she felt inside. This resulted in a string of mental and physical abuse relationships. In 2003 she began seeking and exploring religions. On Easter Sunday 2003 Gwen attended services at Bread of Life church in Minneapolis Mn and gave her life over to the Lord and from there started her new journey of getting to know God personally. Best decision she ever made. In 2004 Gwen had her second child Jazmine. Being a single mom terrified Gwen but she knew with her new relationship with God all she had to do was pray and ask him to see her through it. In 2008 Gwen started to write songs about the love she found in Christ. In 2010 God placed it in her heart to do her first gospel album. Gwen's desire with this album is to bless the lost, abandoned, and seemingly hopeless with Gods love through her music. Even though this has been a tough journey with putting together this album Gwen has never lost faith that Gods purpose and plan for her life will be fulfilled.

Our children have seen, heard and experienced too much in their lives and many are exhibiting signs of Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome before they even reach High School. Childhood used to be a time of joy, innocence, laughter, and carefree living. Now there is fear, doubt, distrust, anger and frustration, robbing our children not only of the innocence of youth, but of hope that tomorrow will be a better day. They need to believe it in order to create it, but how do we instill in our children that the have the power to create the world the way they want it to be, when they are standing upon a foundation of emotional trauma? Domestic violence, homelessness, drug addicted parents, and schools that are downright hostile. Who do they turn to for healing? After an early hard life, how can a child's innocence be restored? Today our guest is Life Coach and Family Counselor Shiela Wilkins, Phd Coach dealing with the mind, body and spirit. Later on we'll be joined by therapist Howard Williams, to discuss how we, the extended family, can reach out to our children.

Natalie Christine Johnson is one of Hollywood South’s most in-demand makeup artists. With a background in Psychology and a degree in fine arts from the University of New Orleans, Johnson began her career with M.A.C. because a fellow makeup artist happened to like the way she did her makeup when she happened upon her while working in a mall. With almost 50 productions under her belt in the past 3 years, Johnson has worked on everything from big budget feature films such as the widely popular Left Behind series with Nicolas Cage, to music videos, network and reality TV, and the Sundance darling Sex, Guaranteed where she met and worked with Stephen Dorff. After working together on that project he later asked her to be his personal makeup artist for their next project together, The American Hero. Her commercial work ranges from local universities to clients like McDonald’s, Wal-Mart, Visa and the NFL. Expanding from beauty to special effects makeup, Johnson has worked for the last three years as a makeup department head and creative consultant for the independent and festival award winning production company, Little to N.O. Budget Films. Working closely with the director and writers, her vision helped develop worlds of zombies, ghosts, and surreal carnivals. She recently worked on the projects Abattoir and Cold Moon.
