The Bundys vs. The Federal Government

    in Politics Conservative

Admittedly looking at the title I even want to ask myself, "What hijinks has Al Bundy gotten into now?".  But of course, this isn't sitcom fiction.  This is reality.  This is a reality in which it comes down to does a man who has lived in a place his entire life and whose family and ancestors have lived in the land, worked the land, etc. since the late 1800's have a right to continue to do that.  Or, can the federal government come in and collect this gentleman's  "trespassing cattle" by court order with 200 armed agents and snipers?  There's a reason why people are worrying this could escalate into another Ruby Ridge or Waco.  What is up as well with the Bureau of Land Management taping off an area as literally a "First Amendment Area" in the midst of all of this.  This is already an ugly situation in many ways and we can certainly pray that it have a peaceful outcome.  But it's already gotten rather heated and there's signs that it could get worse.  I'll be talking a little bit about this case today at 6:30 PM Eastern, and archived after that

    The Boze Noze Show

    in Politics

Jan Aho from Pearl buck center in Eugene Oregon is Jay's guest this week to talk about with the federal government is wanting to do is going to affect millions of handicapped people not only in Lane County but nationwide simply because of abuse of a small percentage of locations.

What I'm talking about is something called sheltered workshops. These are workshops that allow handicapped people to work at their own pace for less than minimum wage.

One of the reasons why the federal government was to shut down the shops is because it has been said that it is slave labor in actuality, with these shops do is allow people to work at their own pace and abilities but more so, allow these people to get out of their homes and have a surrogate family and be with people where they would normally not have the opportunity.

like with any job, it gives them a sense of worth.

remember, Thursday 6 PM Pacific time chat room will be open for questions and you can also send email to talk to KRBNradio.com even after the program if you have questions
