Disabled Veteran Radio On Misdiagnoses Of Personality Disorder

    in News

In this broadcast I will tackle how the Veterans Administration screwed up job caused thousands of disabled veterans to miss out on va benefits for years. One group Government Accountability Office found in a 2008 report that many veterans were misdiagnosed for personality disorders due to a failure by doctors to follow required diagnostic procedures and guidelines. My Current VA Psychatrist Dr. Morales who has seen me for over 2 years even states that I should have been diaganosed with PTSD on the date of discharge. But Dr. Ballad who is in charge of all VA Psychatrist around Tampa Bay at VISIN 8 located in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Ballad says that whatever my current VA Psychatrist says does not mean nothing. I like to hear your comments about PTSD and Personality Disorder and Bill HR 975 The Mental Health Review act which has been sitting in the Sub Committee for over 2 years.

    Parents who kill their children..

    in Motivation

A USA TODAY examination of more than three decades of FBI homicide data shows that on average, 450 children are killed every year by their parents. Northeastern University criminologists applied statistical models to the records. USA TODAY analyzed the database for a detailed look at who kills, who is killed and how. Several patterns are apparent:

The vast majority of child victims – three out of four – are under 5. More than a third of all victims are under a year old.
Nearly half of all victims died from physical beatings or other injuries at a parent's hands.
Fathers are more likely to kill. Men killed six out 10 children, most often beating or shooting them. Fathers were at fault in 75% of cases when children were shot to death by a parent and in 64% of cases when a child was beaten. "Violence is a masculine pursuit," says Jack Levin, a Northeastern University criminologist.
When mothers kill, they are far more likely to kill victims under the age of 1 than children of any other age. Nearly 40% of all children killed by their mothers were less than a year old.
When a parent is accused of killing a child, it dominates headlines and social media.

"People are fascinated by this," says Sara West, a forensic psychiatrist at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland. "It's an unfathomable concept."

    CPAC 2015

    in Politics

Scott Walker hit all the right notes when he took the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday to address a standing-room-only crowd — even gamely handling a heckler.Walker was talking up Republicans’ push to pass a right-to-work law in Wisconsin, a measure to weaken labor unions, when a heckler stood up and began shouting in the packed ballroom. What he said wasn’t clear, but Walker handled it like a pro: He quipped, “Apparently the protesters come [here] from Wisconsin as well.”

Looking to shore up his own bona fides on foreign policy, Walker went out of his way to tell the audience that, as governor, he receives FBI briefings about potential threats to his state. And he pointed to his 2011 face-off with public-employee unions as preparing him for these sorts of situations.“If I can take on 100,000 protesters, I can do the same across the world,” National Review
Rand Paul wins CPAC straw poll.

DOJ No Federal charges of against George Zim

    in Politics

The Justice Department announced today that the independent federal investigation found insufficient evidence to pursue federal criminal civil rights charges against George Zimmerman for the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin on Feb. 26, 2012, in Sanford, Florida.  Prosecutors from the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, officials from the FBI, and the Justice Department’s Community Relations Service met today with Martin’s family and their representatives to inform them of the findings of the investigation and the decision.

The Chicago police department operates an off-the-books interrogation compound, rendering Americans unable to be found by family or attorneys while locked inside what lawyers say is the domestic equivalent of a CIA black site.

The facility, a nondescript warehouse on Chicago’s west side known as Homan Square, has long been the scene of secretive work by special police units.
