Bonnie Kaye welcomes back author Tim Smith, an award-winning bestselling author. His books range from romantic mystery/thriller to contemporary erotic romance. He is also a freelance photographer. When he isn't pursuing those two careers he can often be found in The Florida Keys, indulging his passion for parasailing between research and seeking out the perfect Pina Colada or Mojito!
Tonight Tim will talk about his newly launched book “The Dirty Blonde – Vic Fallon Book 3.” This is a noir-ish crime caper in the style of Chandler, Westlake and Parker but in a contemporary setting. All of the elements are here – tough wisecracking private eye hero with a soft spot for the ladies, a femme fatale client who may or may not be telling the whole truth, some shady supporting characters, vivid atmosphere and snappy dialogue filled with sexual tension
In Smith's words, “Former cop Vic Fallon is content to live in Sandusky, Ohio on his disability settlement and take the occasional private eye job when he isn’t fishing. He doesn't really want to get involved in a missing persons case, but when Amy Bergen arrives from Tennessee looking for her estranged husband who’s avoiding divorce court, Vic is taken in by her southern charm and agrees to help her. His search brings him in contact with a local gangster wannabe, a crooked cop and a gambling syndicate. When another woman shows up claiming to be the missing man’s wife, the case takes a bizarre turn. Can Vic find the wayward husband before all of his wives catch up with him? Will his feelings for Amy develop into something more than professional?”
This show is a program for independent authors. It was created for the authors in the Books of Excellence Coop found at www.BooksofExcellence.com; however the show welcomes independent authors and entertainers as time permits

Mz. Mimi, of Chicago, has been writing poems and short stories since the age of 12. By the age of 16 then living in a group home she’d decided she wanted to write be a writer. She started her first book several times talking herself out of finishing it each time. One day shortly after turning twenty five she was on the phone with her best friend, Toya of 11 years, discussing several of her past life issues and struggles she’d overcome when Toya said “Mimi you should write a book about your life, that shit would be a bestseller.” That day she started writing Love Vs. Loyalty, which she finished in a year and a half. She still wasn’t sure she’d publish it until May of 2013 when a close friend happened to find it laying around her house and read the whole thing in one sitting. After some convincing Mimi decided to send out her manuscript to several publishers just to see what would happen. Within 3 weeks she’d received five offers and decided on La’ Femme Fatale’ Publishing which she signed a contract with July 4, 2013. Mz. Mimi is currently working on her second book Love Vs. Loyalty 2: J.R.’s story as well as three other books all inspired by life events. She is also a fulltime student who is graduating May of 2014 from Ivy Tech State College with her Associates degree in Human Services and has a strong belief in God.
