I recently read a very interesting article by Marianne Kirby on xoJane called, "I'VE ONLY GOT 1 THING TO SAY TO FOLKS WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND FAT ACCEPTANCE," which was a response article to Carolyn Hall's "6 THINGS I DON'T UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE FAT ACCEPTANCE MOVEMENT." The article has almost 600 comments - which are incredibly interesting, provocative and informative all at the same time.
As a former morbidly-obese woman (311+ lbs), I am incredibly sensitive to the bias and stigma against overweight people. However, I struggle with the terms and ideaologies that are core to the Fat Acceptance movement.
Today's discussion will feature my good friend and author of Powerful Hunger, Dagny Kight.

Tonight we will discuss the nature of the mind, body and soul before and after any trauma. How to recognize your true feelings and what steps one can take towards acceptance and survival. Hi, my name is Isis Serran-Pagan. I am a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) survivor. I join the faces of all that go through daily challenges, struggles and as well as accomplishments living with a brain injury. Joining the voices of inspiration, support and awareness to all those struggling to find their "new normal'. Let's find it together! Join me, to listen and be part of the discusion. I look forward to hearing from you too!
Have you experienced the thought, "How Did I Go Wrong?" The idea in this question is the realization that everyting is not as I planned or thought or dreamt it would be, and, I don't like where I am. Along with this is the inherent understanding that "Something needs to change!"
If you've been there, then you've probably attempted to work through the following question as well: "Where do I start?" or, "How Do I Start?" There are lots of voices out there that are willing to guide you also; perhaps you've tried some of them. I have. How have they worked for you?
Today's message continues the general discussion of "Closing The Integrity Gap" that exists between where I am and where I want to be. the steps I offer in this message are quite simple. The difficulty will be in your willingness to dump most of your current belief system and be willing to receive someting that will be new to some of you.
Resistance to moving forward is a common caracteristic in a lot of people; it results in discomfort, even pain. It comes from living within the confines and controls of established belief systems that may or may not have worked very well, and yet, we are reluctant to change probably because we don't hurt enough and/or we are concerned about what a new belief system would mean or were it would lead.
My invitation to you today is to join me as we look at "Closing The Integrity Gap" by discovering "How Do I Start?"
Before we became a child of God we were of dirty rags or a pile of ashes that needed a crown of beauty. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, Romans 8:1. The ashes that become beauty is the acceptance of Jesus Christ through salvation. Minister Carnita Smith will conclude with the last point of the lesson "I Am Saved"
It's the holiday season, exciting, right? We get to spend good quality time with family and friends. And, all too often, what comes along with the holiday season is often times weight gain and body fat increase. Individuals have good intentions going into the holidays, but, many times there good intentions fall by the wayside.
Not only is it possible to survive the holidays and maintain your body composition. But, it's possible to thrive over the holidays and lose weight and body fat… And at the same time, still enjoy every step of the way.

It is easy to be thankful for the good things. A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.
GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles and they can become your blessings.~Author Unknown
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
What if you could live your life in a state of gratitude for everything you have or don’t have? What if you could wake up each morning, and instead of planning your day, your first thought would be “How blessed and grateful you are for the day, and for your life –Studies show that people who practice grateful thinking “reap emotional, physical and interpersonal benefits?”
Today we are celebrating Thanksgiving day with poams and gratitude messages from around the world!
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.”
So what are you grateful for?
Go to www.YourLifeNow.info and leave me a voice mail, stating what you are grateful for and I will share it on the air, or simply leave a message at: 908-864-7919
Happy Thanksgiving beautiful people! ~ Coach Rea
Nutrient timing is a planned alteration of macronutrient intake in order to promote health, workout performance, and get/stay lean.
Nutrient timing strategies are based on how the body handles different types of food at different times. One of the most important nutrient timing principles is that it’s best to eat most non-fruit and veggie carbohydrates during and after exercise.
Many factors influence energy balance, with the laws of thermodynamics being the most important determinants of weight gain and weight loss. Yes, this means how much we eat is priority #1 when changing body composition.
But the key here is “body composition.” If we’re losing equal amounts of fat and muscle when losing weight or gaining equal amounts of fat and muscle when gaining weight, we’re not taking advantage of nutrient timing.

Life is curious and wonderful to be and experience. Simple delights make life worth being and living. Involvement can be a test, struggle, or something wonderful and inspiring. There is beauty to see. There is happiness to feel along with feeling wonderful. Love only seeks to understand and accept. Light only seeks to to be wise and evemminded about. Stress can be eliminated along with anxiety, doubt, worry, and confusion. All anyone needs to do is feel good most of the time. Anything negative can be healed in five minutes or less. Welcome to my point of view as the slapology of Dougiie Slap.
Join Bro. J.O. Sparks at 11:00 PM(EST) as he preaches a message titled, "Obeying God's exact instruction." Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. ~ I Samuel 15:22 So often we say we can add this, or add that, or do this or do that and after we brainstorm, we add things to the will of God for our lives and find ourselves drifting away from the exact things we have heard God speak. It is time we hear and obey the voice of God because obedience is better then sacrifice.
