Manuela “Mannie” Tantawy The Staging Fashionista

    in Radio

Hi, I’m Manuela “Mannie” Tantawy and I’m an Association of Property Scene Designers (APSD)  certified Property Scene Designer and the President of The Staging Fashionista in the Washington, DC Metro area. I am a certified APSD Master Trainer and a member of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA).    I graduated from the School of Interior Decorating at Ashworth College in 2003. I have always had a passion for rearranging, decluttering and decorating my own home and the homes of my family and friends.  My friends refer to me as “Martha Stewart, Jr.”  As Martha says – that is a good thing!   Although this has been my passion since I was 9 years old, I did not pursue my dream until my later years.  Home staging and decorating brings out my creative side.  Over twenty years in public service and working as a Senior Executive has provided me with customer service and management skills that have proven beneficial for my business.  I love staging homes for my clients to make them look their best prior to putting them on the market.  I want buyers to fall in love with the homes I stage by creating a lifestyle and an emotional connection to the home.  My average days on market of my staged homes is 18 days.

    Magical Fashionista

    in Spirituality

We all know that fashion is fun, but what if it was also magical?

Author and lifestyle expert Tess Whitehurst says it is.

On the most basic level, every day we can dress ourselves with reverence and respect, literally adorning ourselves with colors and textures that boos our energy, happiness and self-esteem. On a psychological level, we can “dress for success” by employing our clothing choices as affirmations or conditions we’d like to experience. On a mystical level, we can align our colors and materials with the astrological aspects of the day and our own birth chart for even more stellar results.

Discover how to use fashion to become your most gorgeous self, attract good fortune and manifest what you desire.

Yassin Hall comes from humble beginnings that would make most people throw in the towel, but her journey is one that demonstrates how important perseverance and determination are to reaching one’s destiny. She’s a mother, dance mom, fashionista, model manager, real estate mogul, celebrity stylist, entrepreneur, life mentor, speaker, now Author. She is Yassin Hall, a U.S. Virgin Islander.

However, Hall’s true passion has always been tied to fashion and clothing, as she began modeling in her teen years and designing. From the age of 12 , she was raised by her maternal grandmother & paternal uncle after her mother suffered a mental breakdown in front of her; the day that changed her life forever.

She wants her story as a child living with a mother with mental illness to raise awareness and help others. Mental illness in many communities is taboo and unspoken.
