To the public, you've got it going on! The public's perception is that "You've got a promising career", "You're always in good spirits", "You have a picture perfect family", "You have meaningful relationships", 'You are the perfect image of health", etc.. But the private reality, behind closed doors, is that you are suffering. You are doing everything within your power to maintain this public perception of your lifestyle and character. But it's not authentic. The struggle is real. You feel like a fraud. The pressure becomes too much to bear. Something has got to give. How do you begin to live in your truth with no apologies? Listen as LaKisha shares her struggles with public perception and her private reality. Be encouraged as you learn ways to live in your truth. Keep Believing! Keep Dreaming! Keep telling YOUR story!

On this week’s The Farm radio talk show on the Overthrow Radio Network, host Chris Petherick talks with Laurie Cohen Peters and Liz Reitzig, the founders of Farm Food Freedom Coalition (F3C).
Chris, Laurie and Liz will discuss local food production in the age of industrial farming, including the tragic case of New York farmer Joshua Rockwood, who was recently arrested and hit with a series of absurd charges because, among other things, his livestock’s water was frozen in the middle of winter and he did not heat his barns.
Laurie is a co-founder of the F3C and is a member of the Rawesome Food Club in Venice, Calif., which was raided in 2012 by California officials because it specialized in unprocessed foods, including raw milk. Liz is co-coordinator of Grassfed on the Hill buying club, which serves the greater Washington, D.C. area and is co-founder of F3C. She has spent the past six years representing small farms and consumers at the state legislature and in the halls of Congress lobbying for fewer restrictions on farmers.

You've seen or heard of the poker competitions on national TV, where you can hear a pin drop, as masterminds play this mind game of "call my bluff if you can". Then out of no where one player decides to say those bold words "Im going all in". And yes, there's great risk involved for sure, not knowing what to expect next they could have very well lost it all. With God the stakes are much higher, give our all to him and watch him work or give little and play it safe with little or no impact for the kingdom. Along with that is a hard and changeless heart that only seeks to gratify the flesh and its desires rather than God. We are left wandering what freedom from sin looks like because of our failure to turn over every issue, problem addiction or lust deep in our hearts and minds. What is the one area that God is asking you to turn over to Him? Is there any part of your life your not surrendering? We all at times are tempted to give God just a little or just enough to get by. The abundant life in Christ is there for all who will give their heart, soul, mind and strength to the Lord and be used to do only what He knows your capable of when we die to self and rest in Him.
