Since NJ is the Garden State, Jersey Fresh takes on a special meaning for those who choose to buy their fruits and veggies locally. Seasonal abundance can be found at the scores of farmer’s markets throughout the state. What’s that you say? You don’t know where to find the nearest farmer’s market and don’t even know the difference between an acorn squash and a fava bean? And how do I cook rhubarb and what do I do with all those blueberries? Problem solved. Chef and culinary instructor Rachel Weston is on the case. Weston is an award-winning journalist with over 20 years of experience as a writer, editor and multimedia content producer. Her work has been in The Washington Post, The Huffington Post, The Gutsy Gourmet column in The Star-Ledger, NJ.com, and Chow.com among others. In 2008, Rachel followed her passion, attended culinary school, and ultimately worked the line at a fine dining restaurant, and was the founding chef at the first pay-what-you-can community cafe on the East Coast. Rachel’s book is New Jersey Fresh: Four Seasons from Farm to Table. It’s a collection of recipe ideas and tips for over 50 types of locally grown produce available at NJ farmer’s markets. She spotlights several markets and offers insights on fruits and veggies, from bok choy and fava beans to blueberries, corn, tomatoes, and peaches. Rachel takes the guesswork out of buying locally and is committed to teaching home cooks about using local and seasonal foods in their kitchens. “I wanted it to be a guide you could throw in your market bag,” she says. The book includes a listing of over 100 farmer's markets in NJ. After the interview, check After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for more info.
"Inspiration creates motivation that generates perspirattion thus generation positive results." This show inspires one to reach beyond their normal range of thinking.
We will be discussing how much we have to realize that when we are going through, no matter what it is, how it looks or how it feels, it is our affliction that God has given us to make us stronger for our assignment. There is no way out except for the way that God provides, and He is not going to take away our cup until the work is finished. Although we feel the pressures of learning how to adjust to pain and disappointment, we must learn to come to understand that the work of going through the fire for God is not an easy task. God did not promise us that we would not hurt, instead He sent Jesus to show us how to gracefully stand our pain. NO matter what we go through, the lesson is always love, just as it was when Jesus was on the cross. We must learn how to operate in love, and withstand our afflictions, so God can finish the work of making us strong in our weaknesses.
2 Corinthians 12:9The Message (MSG)
Because of the extravagance of those revelations, and so I wouldn’t get a big head, I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations. Satan’s angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees. No danger then of walking around high and mighty! At first I didn’t think of it as a gift, and begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and then he told me,
My grace is enough; it’s all you need.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness.
Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ’s strength moving in on my weakness. Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become.

For many in the Body of Christ a “Pentecostal” is someone that likes lively praise and worship, or someone that speaks in tongues all the time, or a person that speaks of themselves being “holy and sanctified”, and of course there is the person that rolls on the floor and blows bubbles. Whether joking or serious that is the definition by outsiders or even practitioners of what a Pentecostal is. My definition of a Pentecostal is based on more concrete and Bible based criteria.
1. A Pentecostal is person that is not only Spirit-Filled but Spirit CONTROLLED. (Acts 1:8) said we would receive POWER after the Holy Spirit comes into the Believers life, power for WHAT? Power to be an effective witness, power to lay hands on sick people, power to cast out devils in Jesus name, power to LOVE the unlovable, and power to preach the UNCOMPROMISING Word of GOD!
2. A Pentecostal is Spirit-led! Like Phillip the Deacon he went to Samaria a Place that NO ONE else wanted to go, and he started a revival by preaching JESUS and casting out devils! Philip is an example of a believer that but the leading of The Holy Spirit above his own desires (See Stephen too).
3. A Pentecostal realizes that the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are NOT to be locked up in some building on one day a week (see Philip), They are not for SHOW….They are for WORK!!!
4. A Pentecostal realizes that the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to LIFT JESUS, we are to exalt the Lamb NOT The DOVE, The Holy Spirit was given to ALL Believers so we can promote Jesus the way John The Baptist did in the wilderness.

Some of the first ways we learn about relationship dynamics are observing the relationships we grew up seeing, like the ones of our parents or guardians. Many times, we tend to believe our parent’s relationships or the relationship we had with them should be the outline of what a relationship should be and often times we end up mirroring similar qualities in our own romantic relationships. After all, learning starts at home, right? While it’s the norm to hear that women have daddy issues and men have mommy issues that is not always the case. Both men and women can have issues with both parents instead of one over the other. Negative relationships with a man and his father can impact him greatly as do a woman and her mother. For example, if a man didn’t have his father around to teach him how to be a man or if he grew up in a household watching his father abuse his mom, he may think physical abuse is a way to show ‘love’. So the issue remains, if a woman or man has mommy or daddy issues---can that delay them from finding ‘the one’? Men, if you found out your lady or woman of interest showed signs of having mommy-daddy issues will you continue to pursue her? But, if you truly found ‘the one’ and they had mommy-daddy issues wouldn’t you overlook it? Realistically, we all come with baggage; it’s finding ‘the one’ who is worth being with and how serious their baggage can impact your relationship. Find out what After Hourz have to say about parental issues and relationships! We want to hear from you! Listen! Call in! Share!

Pleasure, is a sensation caused by outside stimuli. It is only a obtained through physical things. A more simpler term for pleasure is a short term state of FEELING gratified.
