Selling in a Skirt with Judy Hoberman and her guest Joan C. Curtis & Tommy Kulpa.
As a communication consultant/trainer, Joan C. Curtis delivers workshops on all kinds of topics, from how to hire the best people to dealing with conflict in the office to public speaking. She says her career found her. Joian was studying adult education but she did not want to take the traditional route. Joan loved being in front of people and helping them learn new skills. That lead her to leadership training. Because she is a "generalist" I tended to teach a wide variety of topics (stress management, assertiveness, public contact, how to discipline, performance appraisal). One day it occurred to me that every class centered around the same thing: communication. From that point on, Joan became a communication consultant/coach. As she moved from direct training, She began a new career as a novelist. She loves writing dialogue. Here ahe is back on the communication trail! Joans novels are not designed to teach but to entertain. The greatest benefit of reading for her is the escape into a new and exciting world. http://www.joanccurtis.com
Tommy Kulpa has been associated with the Insurance and Financial Services Industry for the past three years; and chose this field because of the increase in people outliving their money. I have studied and worked with Insurance, Medicare Supplement/Gap Insurance Plans, Final Expense Insurance, Annuities, 401K rollovers, and Universal Life Insurance products. He joined PHP Agency because of their commitment to save America; one family at a time through their Playbook Process, their standards, morals, ethics, and determination to make a difference. His primary focus is to conduct needs assessments to young families, businesses, and the baby boomer market offering solutions so they live a lifestyle of significance. www.phpdream.com

Today on the Art 4 All People airwaves we are going to have an engaging dialogue with the Co-Founder's of Art is Moving and Art 4 All People. We will talk about Art as a form of Service, Art Break Day, Volunterism, and Transformation.
Art is Moving is a non-profit organization whose main goal is for all people to discover the benefits of art. Art matters and is a necessary component to a heathly society because it is an exquisite tool for learning about oneself, expressing one's emotions and thoughts, and offers the opportunity for a community to come together and grow. There are several ways to experience art and feel its positive impact. You can make it, talk about it, look at it - all are essential and Art is Moving exists to ensure that everyone is provided the opportunity to do all three without fear. Art is Moving's annual Art Break Day involves several cities from around the world coming together to offer FREE art making to anyone and everyone. It is easy to join in the fun, You can donate, sponsor, volunteer, or host an Art Break Day in your city.
Art is Moving is Co-Founded by Lauren Odell Usher Sharpton and (Art 4 All People's) Lisa Rasmussen
