Samuel 21:1-3New Living Translation (NLT)
David Avenges the Gibeonites
21 There was a famine during David’s reign that lasted for three years, so David asked the Lord about it. And the Lord said, “The famine has come because Saul and his family are guilty of murdering the Gibeonites.”
2 So the king summoned the Gibeonites. They were not part of Israel but were all that was left of the nation of the Amorites. The people of Israel had sworn not to kill them, but Saul, in his zeal for Israel and Judah, had tried to wipe them out. 3 David asked them, “What can I do for you? How can I make amends so that you will bless the Lord’s people again?”
In this episode of ODWIRA we will examine the so-called Famine Stela, the Obosom (Deity) Kunwem (Khnum) and the nature of sacrifice.
We will also examine our publication: UBEN-HYENG The Ancestral Summons regarding the nature of sacrifice in Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Religion and Culture.

The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah concerning the droughts. Judah mourns, And her gates languish; They mourn for the land, And the cry of Jerusalem has gone up. Their nobles have sent their lads for water; They went to the cisterns and found no water. They returned with their vessels empty, They were ashamed and confounded And covered their heads.

Salaries and wages seem to offer financial planning stability. Even if the paycheck is inadquate, knowing exactly how much and when it will arrive makes cashflow management a much easier task. However, when a person earns their income via commissions, sometimes the feast or famine in flow is one they become familiar with very quickly.
Entrepreneurs, network marketers, and those in sales cannot 'guarantee' income from month to month. Some months are better than others, some business have some seasons that are better than others, and so the sporadic, or inconsistent income flow makes planning a challenge. Many find themselves in big financial trouble.
However, it IS possible to create a working spending plan that relaxes the panic around money, builds in more control, avoid debt, and encourage wealth accumulation. In this episode, we will discuss some of these resources and strategies. Join me!
Not excluding myself but there's a economy down turn that is still holding a lot of us in bondage. I want to look at this biblically because I believe our solution lies in the book.
As we explore and navigate through the Word of God, we must also keep an open mind that every scripture is God breathed and holds very high significance to how we recieve, except, implement and activate HIS Word.
In Genesis 37 thru Genesis 42 we see the story of a boy name Joseph who had visions, some call them dreams, truly it is both, he became a leader because of it. I think this story tells us a lot about our economic strategy or strategies.
We also see in this story there will be seasons of lack and seasons of plenty. If we look closer, we see that today we should put away for seasons of lack.
Devoting ourselves to prayer, asking God for our provisions. Dig closer into the word provisions. I believe we are uncovering a biblical principle right here.
Pro means professional, so we ask God for professional visions that come to us as blessings. I think we have time for one more biblical example. In Matthew chapter 13 vs 8 and 23, Mark chapter 4 vs 8 and 20 and Luke chapter 8 vs 8 and 15.
Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.
Come back next Tuesday for a continuation of uncovering our economy and our solutions with the Word of God. I'm Ruth Myers with Truth Be Told.
Amos Chapter 8 King James Version
Here God Asked Amos a question,Amos answered and God said the end of Israel will come and i will not pass this way again. God tells Amos all of the things that are coming, but the worst of the judgment is a famine not for food, but for the word of God. No preaching, and the people wil beg to hear the word from the prophets but all will be silent.
