It's Walking by Faith Friday!
"These are a few of my favorite things..." Join us as Linda candidly shares a few of her favorite things - faith, family, and fashion. During this broadcast Linda takes a look at the importance of having and maintaining your faith in perilous times. It's important to live out your faith in style and Linda will discuss a few ways to do this effectively. Remember the A-team? Well, Linda has the G-team. You will meet this crazy bunch that keeps her in stitches (we're not talking about learning how to sew) and on her toes (without the heels). Rounding out the broadcast is the last of Linda's favorite things - fashion. Check out some holiday fashion finds and faux pas. Share your story of the ugliest thing you've ever seen during the holiday. Call (918) 889-3285, log in and join us in chat, or email your story to email@example.com. When emailing us make sure you put Ugliest Thing Ever in the subject box.
Verse of the Day - But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]. (Hebrews 11:6 AMP)
Call in! Join us as we learn to walk by faith in style living this life ... by design.
Let's discuss the idea of introducing your guy or girl to your family on Thanksgiving Day. Join the show at 10:30am. Call (818)301-5834.
The topic of family was a request by someone, not sure who it is was, but thank you for your suggestion!
Family is major aspect of our lives, whether positive or negative. Family unlike frienships or romantic relationships, we do not get to choose the structure we are born into. This is of course if you are seeing family as in bloodlines and biology/genetics (which is what I will be discussing).
Since this is the month of "Thankfulness" on the Inspiration for a Lifetime Facebook page, I thought this would be a good way to end the month also with Thanksgving approaching. I am not big on holidays as much as I used to since many of them are not too focused on God, but we can still give praise and thanks for having family. Even if family might not be a big deal to you or if you have not had good experiences, family is the avenue to which you are alive today.
Let's give God thanks for family this week.

Ali Ras I is a Rastafarian Elder and a relative & spiritual mentor of the Bob Marley family.
His Rastafarian Temple in Los Angeles that was closed down by the feds at gunpoint. His Rastafarian teachings are based on the Sacred Hoop concept of Oneness!
He would like to elaborate on that concept as well as talk about the necessity for people to stray away from alcohol & pork and return back to the natural herbs & holistic living. He also is planning to re-open his Rastafarian Temple in LA. He has won his court cases. This would also be a great opportunity to talk about youth culture and it’s relationship to Reggae Music and spirituality. Ali Ras I is back in Philadelphia.

Feminism: Christian or Anti-Christian. Is feminism a socialist scheme to destroy the family unit, so that the government can raise the children and turn them into mind control slaves?
"Women Against Feminism" by Suzanne Venker Three tenants of feminism: 1) Women are imprisoned by their negative view of women and their place in the world. 2) Injustices perpetrated on women including the fact that they MUST have babies and men do not have to… 3) There is no difference between men and women other than their sex organs.
1) Feminism did not liberate women. It has actually harmed women by placing them in a prison of negative thinking and promoted dead-end promiscuity.
2) Studies show that women today are LESS happy under modern Feminist assumptions and cultural practices.
3) Women today do not owe feminists for everything. Feminism did NOT give women the right to vote or go to college. Those rights existed BEFORE the "Second Wave Feminism" of the 60's.
4) The Women's Suffrage Movement was NOT a "feminist" movement: the "Suffragettes" were actually Pro-Life, Pro-Family and Conservative women. (Today's Feminists would reject them, ironically.)
5) Feminism has robbed women of placing family and marriage at the center of their lives, as the most meaningful part of their existence. Instead, it shames women into believing that career materialism should be placed at the center.
6) Women should ignore the institutionalized, Feminist cultural prescriptions that demean motherhood and marriage. They should sequence their lives in a way that place family as the most central, meaningful experience of their lives.
7) Feminism is a finished movement in America.
