Jeff Cavendish MD, FSCAI, FACC, is the lead interventional cardiologist for Kaiser Permanente San Diego and the director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at the Scripps Prebys Cardiovascular Institute in La Jolla, California. He is an active member of the American College of Cardiology.
Donnette Lovell Smith was born in Athens, Alabama and moved to Huntsville, Alabama after her marriage to Tom in October 1980.

Dr. Jacobs is director of the Andrews/Daicoff Cardiovascular Program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Heart Institute and professor of Cardiac Surgery in the Division of Cardiac Surgery of the Department of Surgery at Johns Hopkins University. He is also surgical director of the Heart Transplantation Program and director of the Extracorporeal Life Support Program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Heart Institute. Dr. Jacobs has been a cardiothoracic surgeon at All Children’s Hospital since 1998.
Recently, Dr. Jacobs led a team of 60 physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals from All Children's Hospital and healthcare organizations throughout the United States and the world to deliver life-saving care in the Caribbean. Under Jacobs' leadership, the team has operated on more than 90 children since the first trip in 2006.

Dr. Edward Kersh is Chief of Cardiology at St. Luke's Hospital, San Francisco, and is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth University and Touro University. Dr. Kersh is an active teacher of cardiology fellows and medical students. In 2000 was honored with the Kaiser Foundation Teaching Award as voluntary teacher of the year at UCSF. He has also been given the Gold Headed Cane Award by the AOA Honor Society at UCSF and the Outstanding Teacher Award in Cardiology at CPMC. Dr. Kersh is an active teacher of cardiology fellows and medical students. He has been recognized by his peers by election to Best Doctors in America.
Dr. Christopher Bump, DC
Dr. Christopher J. Bump has created a unique model of health care by integrating Functional Medicine and Chiropractic. In addition to a Masters Degree from Columbia University in Human Nutrition and certifications in clinical nutrition with the AMA College of Nutrition, the International and American Council of Clinical Nutrition and he is also a Diplomat with the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition where he also presides on the Education Committee. Budoff, M.D., FACC, is Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine and Director of Cardiac CT at the Division of Cardiology at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. Dr. Budoff received his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completed an internship and residency in internal medicine, as well as a fellowship in cardiology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Budoff is chief investigator in several active medical research trials and is a frequent lecturer on topics of cardiology at symposia, congresses and annual conferences on nearly every continent. He has authored or co-authored over 500 research papers, six books and 36 book chapters. Dr. Budoff received the Einstein Award for Scientific Achievement from the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, UK, and was awarded the Top Oral Abstract at the American Heart Association’s 2009 meeting. Dr. William Abraham earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, following which he completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He previously held faculty appointments at the University of Colorado, the University of Cincinnati, and the University of Kentucky. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Dr. Abraham spends the majority of his clinical time managing heart failure patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Abraham has been recognized as one of the “Best Doctors in America” for eleven consecutive years and has been ranked among the top 10% of physicians nationally in patient satisfaction.
Dr. Abraham has authored more than 700 original papers, abstracts, book chapters, and review articles. In 2014, he was named to the Thomas Reuters Highly Cited Researchers list. Dr. Abraham has co-authored national heart failure practice guidelines and co-edited a leading textbook on heart failure entitled Heart Failure: A Practical Approach to Treatment. Dr. Abraham serves on the editorial boards of several major journals.

Dr. William Abraham is the lead investigator for the CardioMEMS clinical trials and also serves as deputy director of Ohio State’s Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute. He has been recognized as one of the “Best Doctors in America” for eight consecutive years. Also in 2009 he was named inaugural designated Chair of Excellence in Cardiovascular Medicine at Ohio State’s College of Medicine. Dr. Abraham earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Mass., and completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowships in cardiology and heart failure/cardiac transplantation at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Abraham is an internationally known researcher in heart failure. He has received grants from the National Institutes of Health, the American College of Cardiology and the Aetna Quality Care Foundation and has participated as principal investigator in more than 100 multicenter clinical drug and device trials.In addition to authoring more than 600 original papers, abstracts, book chapters and review articles, Dr. Abraham also co-edited Heart Failure: A Practical Approach to Treatment, a leading textbook on heart failure.
