The Formula One Grand Prix at Spa, in Belgium, was jam-packed with excitement, tenacity, and some have said, “dirty tricks.” Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo drove a spectacular race all the way through the finish line. He started the race in 5th position then used speed and precision to overtake Mercedes driver and pole sitter Nico Rosberg. Once Ricciardo moved into first position he stayed there. He defended his position and held on for a back-to-back win, making this his third of the season.
Boos, Boos and more Boos for Mercedes AMG driver Nico Rosberg today. Fans and race viewers watched as he appeared to deliberately make contact with teammate Lewis Hamilton just enough to damage Hamilton’s tires, and derail any opportunity Hamilton had, to earn points. Rosberg is in the lead for the driver championship and Hamilton, the 2008 World Champion was his biggest threat with an 11-point gap. Hamilton did not finish the race today due to damage to the car while Rosberg went on to finish second. Finishing third was the always friendly and reliable Williams-Martini driver, Valtteri Bottas. Bottas really put the Williams-Martini team in a respectable position for championship points, which means millions to a team. Valtteri has become a very reliable driver with enough confidence, to duke it out on the track, for team points.
Xiro Xone F1 Sports Award for Guts goes to McLaren rookie Kevin Magnussen who fought to keep his position against Alonso.
The Stop stressing me out award goes to, Sebastian Vettel, the 4-time champion with Red Bull. He made the podium on qualifying day, but missed it on race-day. Vettel has done a much better job with the car of late, and could have landed on the podium had it not been for a couple of hiccups, on the track. Now that he is more acquainted with the car we can expect to see him on the podium quite a bit more, next season.

Patricia Hirsch, MCC, interviews Alain Cardon, MCC. Alain shares how over the years, working in executive, team and organizational coaching contexts has often been a challenge. Gradually working through the paradox of resistance to change or that people and systems ask for change in order to limit change, he has had to find strategies to accompany them, and himself in this exploration process. This has allowed Alain to develop specific individual, team and organizational coaching tools and strategies that he finds very powerful.
Master Certified Coach since 2002, mostly recognized for his specific competencies in systemic executive coaching, team coaching and organizational coaching, Alain Cardon is also a systemic coach trainer and coach supervisor with coach students in France, Belgium, Spain, Germany and Romania where he has opened a systemic coaching school in 2007.
As far as his personal style for executive coaching, life coaching, team coaching and organizational coaching clients, Alain has developed a direct, confronting and empowering coaching approach which may be defined as a blend of brief, systemic, creative, and breakthrough posture and techniques. Although French national and part-time resident, his intensely international personal life and career also makes it difficult to define Alain’s executive coaching heritage as originating from one or another coaching school of thought, one or another national frame of reference.
A re-broadcast of Xiro Xone News and F1 Sport.
Lewis Hamilton has fought tooth and nail all season for every point he has earned, and Sunday was no different. Lewis Hamilton is one of the most intelligent and skillful drivers that ever hit a Formula One track. Hamilton drove 192 miles in a 61-lap race, under pressure from two Red Bulls, a Ferrari, and an 18-minute safety car.
Hamilton's experience on the track and understanding of the car, along with smart tire strategy and better pit stops, kept him in the lead while tackling tight turns at top speed. Of course it can be said, his toughest fight was in Hungary when he went from pit lane to a third place podium finish, in spite of car trouble, and slow pit stops.
Fighting back and in desperate need of a podium was Sebastian Vettel, with Red Bull. Four-time champion Vettel was not satisfied with third or fourth, so he ramped up his competitive nature and overtook team-mate Daniel Ricciardo to secure himself, a second place finish. Two impressive finishers gaining points for their teams were Fernando Alonso for Ferrari and Felipe Massa for Williams-Martini. Jean-Eric Vergne with Toro Rosso and Sergio Perez with Sahara Force India, came in sixth and seventh respectively.
Next race, Suzuka, in Japan
After Race Entertainment- Nine-time Grammy Award winner John Legend will bring his blend of R&B and soul to the Formula One night race on Sunday. Also headlining, Jennifer Lopez at the Padang Stage and Six-time Grammy winner and Emmy winner Ziggy Marley will perform in Zones 1 and 4 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Just when Nico Rosberg thought he would be pole sitter for the Formula One Grand Prix in Singapore, his team-mate Lewis Hamilton pulls the rug out in Q3 by seven one-thousandth of a second. Red Bull Daniel Ricciardo was 3rd, his team-mate Sebastian Vettel 4th, and Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso was 5th. This was the sixth pole position of the 2014 season for Hamilton and a much needed one, for a track like Singapore. Sundays race in Singapore will be the first test of the new radio rules.
Entertainment- The Pet Shop Boys-Kicking off the weekend is UK’s most successful music duo and three-time Brit Award winner Pet Shop Boys, who are slated to enthrall audiences before the start of the Formula One qualifying session on Saturday. Having sold more than 50 million records worldwide, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe’s energetic electropop sound, avant-garde costumes and fervent fan base will transform the Circuit Park into an electrifying pre-race party
Six-time Grammy winner and Emmy winner Ziggy Marley will perform in Zones 1 and 4 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Fresh from winning Best Reggae Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards, Ziggy Marley will mark his debut performance in Singapore at the seventh edition of the night race. He will perform after the on-track action at the Village Stage on Saturday, 20 September and before the Formula One race on Sunday, 21 at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre Stage.
Returning to Singapore after thirteen years, one of UK’s biggest pop star Robbie Williams will perform after the Formula One qualifying on Saturday, 20 September 2014 at the Padang Stage

There were a few surprises on the track during practice at the Singapore Airlines Formula One Grand Prix in Singapore. A surprise showing by the Ferrari team gave fans a reason to sit up and take notice. At the end of the first practice session, the fastest man on the track was Fernando Alonso. MercedesAMG driver, Lewis Hamilton, was second fastest, followed by his teammate, Nico Rosberg.
Four-time champion Red Bull Sebastian Vettel seems to be improving and had the fourth fastest car. Lotus driver Pastor Maldonado did not disappoint when he ended his practice session, after hitting the side of the wall at a turn known as, ‘the Singapore Sling’. Rosberg had to cut short his second lap, when Maldonado hit the wall. Prior to Maldonado’s crash, Rosberg was fastest on the track, so Hamilton must not under-estimate him at qualifying. By the end of practice 2, fastest on the track was Hamilton, Alonso, Daniel Ricciardo, Kimi Raikkonen then Sebastian Vettel.
The weekend entertainment during the Singapore Grand Prix features, family friendly entertainment, and late night performances for the mature party set.

Beginning on the Tuesday before Pentecost of the year 1405, the Lord appeared, covered with wounds, to John of Huldenberg, the owner of the place. Only during the third apparition did Our Lord speak, ordering John, “Go to the Chapel of Isaac; you will find Me there.” At the same time the parish priest, Peter Ost, heard a voice instructing him to offer the Mass of the Holy Cross in the Chapel of Isaac. The following day the pastor summoned all the faithful to assist at Mass in that chapel.
John of Huddenberg was among those present. The priest began the Mass and when he unfolded the corporal, he saw there a Particle of the large Host which had been consecrated the preceding Tuesday. He sought to consume the Host, but the Eucharist clung to the corporal and began to bleed. The priest turned white, and John, who had observed everything, comforted him by saying. “Do not fear, this marvel comes from God,” and related his visions.
