KELLY O'CONNELL AM 1450: Trump & Sanders Dominate

    in Politics

Sirens Wail, body counts are piling up and only a few survivors stand aside, surveying the carnage. As Bernie & Donald take a victory lap, the astonished elites sit with their heads down, nursing a sense of panic while holding their brains in their laps. WHAT WENT WRONG?!!

Are the CORRUPT BIG PARTIES cratering, falling apart, imploding on their way to bursting into flames then burning to ash? The consensus picks for both the DEMS & GOP have fallen by the wayside and the race just started. All the money & superpacs in the world cannot stem the tide. And the moral to the story is -- Americans are demanding change. We are sick to death of the lies, compromise, lack of vision, and corruption. Even worse is the inevitable outcome of decay and fall. Like Rush says -- Obama is changing the US and nobody is standing up against it, let alone talking about it.

Hillary absolutely had her teeth kicked in by Sanders by 20 points. Trump doubled his nearest challenger, winning by 37,000 votes. Sanders won by about the same, despite running against one opponent. Kasich lives another day, as does Cruz. But how do Bush and Rubio justify their robotic & even shambolic existences? As Charles Darwin once preached -- Some must die so others might live. Which leads to another Q: is hillary Queen of hari Kari? Does she exist, exhaling self-righteousness and condescension with every breath only to get taken out like a mole on the front lawn?

Since no one has a crystal ball, and both candidates destined to be gone -- Trump & Sanders -- are snw leading, only time can reveal what US electoral futures hold.

    Until then, take care sportfans

ps...please take care to watch for & not to run over political roadkill!

    in Self Help

Valentine's Day is not for everyone.

Which one are you on -
    Team Warm-and-Fuzzy or Team Love-Can-Bite-Me

    ??

    We wanna know!

Last week, our Hearts 101 episode was so full of healthy-heart related chat that we didn't really get to discuss ways to have a happy Valentine's Day (whether you love it or abhore it), so we've extended that discussion into its own episode and we promise, at the very least, to give you ideas and make you laugh.

We're also inviting everyone to call in with their favorite dating stories, both good and bad, but we know which ones are more entertaining!! If you've ever had a date from hell, now is the time to unload that burden! It's a sort of therapy, really -- recounting your tales for all our listeners. Drs. Rock and Spectre are here for you. You'll feel lighter when you're through!

Call in, join us in the chat room or just listen in!

Great Sex in Marriage - The Joe Beam Show

    in Relationships

You may have seen the statistics. One in five marriages are in the "no sex" category. That means they have sex with each other ten times a year or less. Another 15% are in the "low sex" category, which means they have sex with each other 11 to 25 times per year. That means 35% (or we can just round that to one out of three) married American couples between the ages of 18 and 59 make love to each other twice a month or less, and the majority of those are once a month or less.

Notice that these aren't folks in the nursing home.

Does making love this little have an effect on a marriage? On sexual health? On potential affairs? On use?

Yes to all of the above.

In this program, Joe Beam discusses how sex in a marriage is directly affected by the relationship the couple have. More than that, he discusses how to increase both the frequency of lovemaking and the enjoyment that both husband and wife can gain from it.

For those couples where one spouse wants to do something sexually that the other is resistant to do, he offers practical advice about how to solve that problem to the satisfaction (emotionally and sexually) of both spouses.

He also reveals the secret to changing bad sex (or even good sex) to GREAT sex.

Call in to talk with Joe about specific questions you have about lovemaking, anatomy, or anything you wish to learn. No questions are taboo. (Proper language is required.)

If you wish, feel free to use pseudonym to hide your identity. Use a fake British accent if you want, but be sure that Joe talks about what you wish to know by calling to talk with him during the program at 646-378-0424. The program airs live beginning at 9 p.m. Central on February 9, 2016.

Wild Horse & Burro Radio: Stop BLM Sterilization Research on Wild Mares

    in Current Events

    Hosted by Debbie Coffey

Four major wild horse & burro advocacy groups and advocates are uniting to speak out against Bureau of Land Management (BLM) plans for cruel sterilization experiments on wild mares (including pregnant mares).  The BLM extended the Environmental Assessment comment period, because AWHPC asked for and received additional documents that the BLM had not made available to the public,

Suzanne Roy, Campaign Director, American Wild Horse Preservation Campaign (AWHPC)

Paula Todd King, Communications Director, The Cloud Foundation

Karen Sussman, Pres. of International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros (ISPMB)

Carol Walker, Dir. of Field Documentation for Wild Horse Freedom Federation

Best-selling author Terri Farley (Wild at Heart: Mustangs and the Young People Fighting to Save Them)

BLM heinous plans are to STERILIZE wild  horses, (experimentation trials) using several methods on 225 wild mares: ovariectomy via colpotomy, tubal ligation, and hysteroscopically-guided laser ablation of the oviduct papilla.  Experimentation at BLM's Wild Horse Corral Facility in Hines, Oregon, but will eventually do sterilizations out in the FIELD.

    in Pop Culture

Brian’s gone again(and it shows), and we’re left wondering: why have we never seen him and Apache Chief in the same place, at the same time?  Whatever the reason, Charles and Paul will “get big” with this week’s guest, and co-host of the DC Onscreen podcast, Jason Goss.

With the mysterious “Rebirth” project looming the hosts discuss the good, bad, and ugly of DC’s New 52 universe.  Discussion DC attracting new readers and doing more for existing ones.

Rumors swirl that have us blue, with anticipation, for season 3 of Star War: Rebels.  Eyes red, with excitement, Paul gives us the low-down on a fan favorite EU antagonist.

Jason drops news on a Batman that doesn’t say “no.”  We’ll round the bases with a possibly uninhibited Caped Crusader and potential effects on the future of the DC Extended Universe.
