The ROAD TO RECOVERY Hosted by Daniel Czuba - What UNIQUE Gift do you have to...

    in Radio

.... SHARE With others, now that we aren't drinking and or drugging or indulging into our addictions. WHAT IS YOUR GIFT? Tonights show is going to center around these gifts that we have been Blessed to discover within ourselves. They are UNIQUE to us - perhaps something that we always wanted to be or better yet - something that we thought we WOULD NEVER BE OR DO! That IS THE MIRACLE OF RECOVERY. We are no longer creating problems or issues in our lives as part of our day to day routines. It's not that we don't occassionally find ourselves in Hot Water - it's more like these situations are more of an occassional instance rather than a daily problem/s. PLUS now that we are sober and get over our feelings of BOREDOM - we find ourselves stepping up and into a new way of living that encourages a clean manner of living life - while sharing our EXPERIENCE - STRENGTHS - and HOPES with others, thus STRENGTHENING our own resolve to stick to the Straight Path of Recovery - setting examples of courage to anyone willing to take a look and possibly take a chance at getting Clean and Sober themselves.

This is a LIVE - CALL-IN Talk Show - one where we candidly speak about our lives and how we live day to day facing the same challenges we faced when we were caught up into our addicitions - yet NOW WE Handle these situations in a totally different manner - recognizing that we don't have to do it alone anymore. We have each other.

So join us each and every Sunday evening here on BLOG TALK RADIO as we journey through our lives ONE-DAY-AT-A-TIME. CARE TO JOIN US?  Our Call-IN number is 323-580-5755 OR you can send me an email directly at daniel@daare.com - please put "THE ROAD TO RECOVERY" in the subject line - and include any comments/ thoughts/ pictures/jokes/criticisms, ANYTHING You'd care to share and we will try to respond in an appropriate manner.

On Air With David Duane w/ Special Guest: Dustin Michael & James Lee Taylor

    in Music

James Lee Taylor is an English-born, Los Angeles-based actor and writer, born and raised on the beaches of Canvey Island in Essex. His father a comedian and his mother a successful model, James was born with entertainment in his blood.  He started modelling at age 15, working with Nivea, Valentino and the coveted Calvin Klein to name just a few, and signed with IMG and Select Model Management.  After a decade of modelling, James was introduced to the world of the stage and immediately discovered that acting was his true passion. After honing his craft with the world famous Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, James went on to land the lead roles in two major off-Broadway shows, The Tiger and Tesla.  Testing his skills on short film Deep Water, James realised he was most at home on camera. In January 2014, James made the jump out to Los Angeles and signed with Innovative Artists, Schumacher Management and Core MGMT.  His commitment to his new path was immediately rewarded when he became the face of the Three Olives Vodka, taking over from brand ambassador Clive Owen.  The mesmerising ‘Werewolf of London’ campaign earned James his heartthrob status, which then led to him being cast in BET Network’s Being Mary Jane.  His recurring role as Gabrielle Union’s love interest is an exciting and developing story which we look forward to exploring...

    2015-12/09 TBhr2 Harry Mayes Reunion!

    in Sports

Hour Number 2 began with a traditional pouring of the Vodka Crans Harry and I enjoyed and discussed on many of our prior shows over the years. City and Street name pronunciations also became a discussion with Luigi, Robin, Harry and I pointed out some of the ones which are spelled one way, but not pronounced the same.
We went to the hotline and played our favorite game. F-Marry-Kill with the 3 female contestants this week being: Greta Van Sustern, Nancy Grace and former OJ prosecutor Marcia Clark. Harry did the honors, so to speak.
Some college bowl talk as Harry pointed out the ironic match up in the Las Vegas Bowl. Utah vs BYU features 2 schools featuring mostly Morman
s, and Vegas didn't seem to make much sense if you don't drink or carouse.
Frisky fans came up after a Buffalo Bills pair was caught doing it doggy style in the parking lot last weekend and the Washington Redskin fan being orally pleasured in the upper deck as he watched standing up and she....well, you can find it on the web.
Male testosterone started flowing when Tennis was brought up and Luigi suggested CSN sports reporter John Clark couldn't beat him. A charity match is forthcoming.
