Welcome to G220 Radio, where we discuss many different topics and issues from a biblical worldview. Our goal is to equip, edify, confront and at times correct the saints as we journey together striving to be more and more ike Jesus Christ!!
>>Here is what you have to look forward to on this episode of G220 Radio.
>>>>>Hour One: Hope through Suffering w/guest Richard Story<<<<<
Turn on the television to any "Christian" tv program and your most likely going to hear very similar messages that God wants you to be prosper, to be wealthy and to be healthy. But is that truly the Gospel message, what about when you go through trials and difficulties in life? What about those who go through suffering in this life? Is there hope through the suffering? Richard Story will join us to share with us his testimony of how even through suffering he has hope in Jesus Christ. We will also hear how the Lord brought Richard to salvation and how even though he may be limited physically from doing somethings, he is definetly still able to and has been used by God to encourage others. And we will talk about his passion for evangelism!
>>>>>Hour Two: The Christ Myth Theory w/guest Vocab Malone<<<<<
Sure there are people who say they dont believe in God. There are people who say they dont believe Jesus was nothing more then just a man or a prophet. Vocab Malone joins us to talk about those who actually hold to the idea that Jesus Christ never existed, that he is just a myth! Denying the historical recorded accounts in scritpure and even in non biblical writings about the existence of Jesus. So be sure to tune in because you will not want to miss this conversation that will help teach us about those who hold to this Christ Myth Theory and help us learn from Vocab how we can respond to these objections that those who hold to this idea will have.
Join us for the return of As Real As It Gets Radio show. This Thursday March 26th 2015 at 8:00 pm. We will debate on a stereotypical topic. Are black women angry or is this a stereotype? Where did this theory come from? What are the origins? Why do some men decide not to date a black woman? Join my co-host Amber (AJ) Jones and my new co-host K'mecca as we discuss and debate this topic.
Also join us as we discuss the recent success of the FOX TV hit "Empire". Does Empire cast a negative light on Blacks in America or is it just good entertainment. You don't want to miss this show!!!!
What if there were a theory that explained everything -- the universe, human life, where we come from, and where we are going?
Stephen Hawking, the famous English physicist and cosmologist, dedicated many years of his life to the answer to that question. He believes that there is such a theory -- that an equation in physics can explain everything about the universe. The film, The Theory of Everything, depicts some of Hawking’s quest to discover such an equation. Hawking went on to develop the Big Bang theory about the creation of the universe as well as theories that explained the beginning of time. He also went on to write the best selling book, A Brief History of Time.
However, the film also depicts something that is not as easily definable, but that is far more important -- his relationship with his wife, Jane, and her unyielding commitment to him and her amazing love for him even though a disease called ALS was ravaging his body, causing it to fold in on itself, and rendering him unable to do anything beyond speak and think. While most of us probably could not grasp complex theories of how the universe and time came to be, we can understand -- although we may not be able to define -- how love works. Their love for each other is what kept Stephen and Jane together for many years despite the hurdles they had to overcome.
Virgil said, “Love conquers all.” Robert Browning said, “Without love, our earth is a tomb.” Mahatma Gandhi said, “Nothing is impossible for pure love.” The Bible says, more importantly, “God is love.”
Sadly and unfortunately, Stephen Hawking says he does not believe in God, and therefore he does not believe in God’s love even though he has experienced it through his wife Jane who is a Christian. “God is love.”

BROTHERS AND SISTERS ... TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES
Health disparities between African Americans and other racial and ethnic populations are striking and apparent in life expectancy, death rates, infant mortality, and other measures of health status and risk conditions and behaviors.
When you look at the 10 Leading Causes of Death for African Americans, you find that most of them are substantially preventable by making some lifestyle changes. The question becomes, do we, as a people, have access to that information and secondly why are we in this situation in the first place.
Join Alex Primo, Asha Zuri, and Joe Whitfield Thursday at 9 pm EST as we explore the sicknesses and ailments that plague our people and some possible ways to remedy them. We will look at common issues such as Heart Disease, Cancer, Stroke, and other health concerns of Melanated people.
African Americans in 2009 had the largest death rates from heart disease and stroke compared with other racial and ethnic populations.
From 2007-2010, the largest prevalence of hypertension was among adults aged 65 years and older, African American adults, US-born adults, adults with less than a college education, adults who received public health insurance (18- 64 years old) and those with diabetes, obesity, or a disability, compared with their counterparts.
