SORT BY Relevancy
The War Between the States was about state rights. The north was imposing tariffs out the wazoo on the south. Illegal tariffs, I might add.
Sure, the south wasn't perfect; who is? All I'm saying is that they were the ones ultimately in the right in that 19th century fiasco and they took the flack for it because the winners write the history books. No the true history is written by warriors.
If you want to argue with me, please, argue intelligently. I loath hippies.
Just remember two things: 1) THE NORTHERN STATES HAD MANY SLAVES; 2)The emancipation proclamation claimed (because it had no legal authority) to free only the slaves in the "rebelling states." Northerners were free to keep their slaves until the 13th Amendment.
After this atrocity more commonly known as the "Civil War," all clauses and amendments regarding states rights have been ignored in every case that didn't directly benefit the federal government.
Unfurl and raise our Confederate States National Flag to it’s rightful place and glory.
With these words I swear my pledge of loyalty forever!”
I SALUTE THE CONFEDERATE FLAG WITH AFFECTION, REVERENCE AND
UNDYING DEVOTION TO THE CAUSE FOR WHICH IT STANDS.

C.S. Lewis once said, “True humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less.”
On this episode of Divine Leverage Success from the Inside Out with your host, Devon Plumberg you'll discover the many faces of humility. Learn why true humility isn’t thinking less of yourself. nor is it being outwardly humble, while harboring pride, and it’s not about being weak either. True humility is service to others, to a cause greater than your own personal needs or ambition.

Shalom everyone. Came across a video on FB that made me want to do this show tonight. A young Puerto Rican brothu did a video explaining why a lot of young Black females today no longer want Black males as partners for mating or marriage. Will play his clip and others as well as telling my own story of what I call the ultimate BETRAYAL. Betrayal of thousands of impregnanted indigenous Black women (not bi racials) by Black men and males spanning several generations that simply has resulted in what we see happening today. I'm asking females who have decided to no longer date Black males to if possible courageously call in and offer the 9Mind Sacred Sisterhood your explaination on why you made this choice. This is not about judging anyone. But I started this show so that (we) the north American Black indigenous woman could finally tell our own story. In this European gentile world of male Patriarchy. Women are seen as the fault for every occassion and situation. Which has led to our relationships with our own men to turn into soemthing out a nightmare that we seem to not be able to wake up from. Come let us here from our elder and younger sisters why Black men and males are NO LONGER WORTHY of our love and affection. Will be playing some great audio clips so get ready for an informative and awesome show. This particular show by Don Nicoleon Host of WGAG RADIO woke me up to a shocking reality that even I didn't know about our Black Parents. Start show at 145:00 mark. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/wgag-radio/2014/07/24/its-time-for-the-great-day-show-on-earth-the-don-nicoleone-show

World War II was a truly global conflict, running 24/7 across every time zone. However, for all the attention given to it in history books, magazines, films and television, the European Theater of Operations was only a fraction of the size physically of the war being fought in the Pacific Theater. Encompassing almost half the world's landmass, the Pacific Theater necessarily had to be broken into pieces, and prosecuted by a number of separate commands and commanders. The South Pacific was just one big part of this effort, and yet had multiple commanders directing operations from Guadalcanal to Okinawa before the war ended. Some of the greatest names in American military history, commanded these operations including Gen. Douglas MacArthur, Adm. Chester Nimitz, Adm. William F. "Bull" Halsey, and Gen. "Howl'in Mad" Smith. Incredibly, the Allied victory over the Japanese was completed in just under four years from the attack on Pearl Harbor. But perhaps most amazing was that it was accomplished in spite of one of the worst collection of military egomaniacs and narcissists being in control of much of the drive towards Japan. Add to this the debilitating long-term effects of alcohol, smoking, and command stress, and is easy to see why so many of the top Allied military leaders died or fell by the wayside during the war.
To learn more about World War II in the South Pacific and the unvarnished stories of the men who prosecuted it, join military historian, author and journalist John D. Gresham (@greshmj01) for Military Monday (#MilitaryMonday at @Writestream) at 1 p.m. Eastern. His guest this week is U.S. Naval Institute Press (@USNIBooks) author Alan Rems, the writer of SOUTH PACIFIC CALDRON, which tells the stories of the campaign in the South Pacific. His book provides readers a really transparent look at the battles and leaders on both sides in the South Pacific during World War II.

Erica DiCarlo asks a blunt question on this episode of My Message Radio: Christians, are we the contributing to the sickness or leading others to the healer?
Christian father, writer, and video blogger Jefferson Bethke has inspired many of the posts found at Erica's blog, My Message, and this week she shares some of his most motivational work on the topic of authentic Christian living.
Are we infecting others with the toxins of pride, religion and opinion or are we leading them to the cure from all of what ails them which is to the Lord? This epidode will allow us as individuals to collectively take a personal inventory of our behavior and get honest with which side we are actually on in the battle of the world.
In 1922 Henry Lindlhar designed what he called the disease tree. He was one of a small group of gifted physicians who introduced the European system of nature cure to the United States. Dr Lindlhar developed and directed a school of natural therapeutics. His work is the foundation for the present day practice of naturopathy.
Henry was the author of one of the of naturopathic cornerstone texts medicine, Nature Cure, which includes topics about disease suppression versus elimination, hydrotherapy, and the importance of fresh air and sun bathing.
In closing look closely at the disease tree and the symptoms it indicates. And remember, symptoms are not the disease. Symptoms are generated by the body in its efforts to cope with a disease.” Suppressing symptoms as is done with allopathic medicine merely drives disease more deeply into the body where in contrast natural or homeopathic medicines strengthen the body or supported the body in trying to clear out what was bothering it.” View my web site at www.naturalhealthcommunity.org/kathydeane for more articles and be sure to listen to my radio talk show.
And tomorrow join me for special guest live on my Health is Wealth Radio talk show with Donna Roth who is a Health Educator for over 30 years. She is a former Teacher and Principal of Elementary schools who gave up her career to raise her family to raise not by using drugs or medications but by using Herbal Remedies and Therapeutic Nutrition.
Career - The Black Woman’s Supreme Sacrifice?
During the past one-hundred years women have made social and financial gains that are unprecedented. This is even truer of Black Women compared to Black Men. Black Women have far surpassed Black Men as college graduates. These days, possessing a bachelors degree is deemed to be the first significant step to gaining social and financial gains. The gains don’t stop there. Increasingly Black Women are found in prominent positions in business, government, medicine and politics. But what is the cost? What are the sacrifices? Is it all worth it? Is there a way to have it all?
