This week, we're celebrating a very special day. It's the one day that people from all walks of life come together, and put aside whatever differences, worldly or otherwise, they may have and share a common bond. The one thing that unties us all. The tie that binds. That magical plant known as cannabis. On this day, we give thanks to the other woman in most of our lives, Mary Jane.
While known for many years as strictly recreational, cannabis has been proven to have many positive health benefits. From pain management to treating seizure disorders, the medicinal uses for this once feared plant are limitless. We have stories upon stories, some personal about the positive effects of medical marijuana. We invite any listeners who have experiences, positive or negative, to call in and share them with us.
With the legalization of recreational marijuana in Colorado, Washington, Oregon and Alaska, the possibility of national legalization becomes more real. Admittedly, this isn't something we expected to see in our lifetimes, but here it is. Welcome to the future! What are your thoughts on legalization? We'd like to hear from people on both sides of this issue.
We'd also like to invite our listeners in Colorado, Washington, Oregon and Alaska, along with any patients in one of the 21 states that legalized medical marijuana, to call in at 4:20 (Mountain Time) for one big bong hit! Unfortunately, we won't be able to join you because Doc doesn't partake and Matt can't afford to right now, but we'll be with you in spirit! For those of you who can't figure out time zones, that's 20 minutes into the show.
PARENTAL DISCRETION ADVISED
We do not encourage the illegal use of cannabis. Please use responsibly; don't drive high.

A player's most prolific season receives the most weight, because it represents the production that a player is capable of.

Dennis Dixon represents Marcus Mariota's true prospect projection floor.
Mariota's actual NFL throws at the college level were so few and far between that experts have no idea what he will do at the NFL level.
Similar to Johnny Manziel, Marcus Mariota is a known unknown who requires a massive leap of faith in order to draft with a top pick.

Join Monster X hosts, Gunnar Monson and Shane Corson as they broadcast live from HopsSquatch!
HopsSquatch is a monthly Bigfoot and Beer speaker series hosted by Guy Edwards in Portland Oregon.
We'll discussing this month's HopsSquatch speaker, Larry Lund.
This is a MOnster X you will not want to miss. Larry Lund doesn't travel the Bigfooot circuit as much as he used to. His last public event was possibly three years ago at the annual Skamania County Bigfoot Bash. It is a rare honor to have the opportunity to meet the man who did research with all the original four pillars of Bigfoot research. That's right, Larry Lund rubbed elbows with John Green, Rene Dehinden, Grover Krantz and still keeps in contact with Peter Byrne.
Before Finding Bigfoot, in the 90's, the Bigfoot authority you wanted on your TV show was Larry Lund. Larry made several TV appearances including the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

At the age of three, Rick’s mom and dad took him to a John Wayne movie, where the key scene was a stage coach going over a cliff..obviously very impressed by what he saw, Rick drove his little red pedal car as fast as he could past his parents, who watched in horror as he headed toward the flight of stairs directly in front of him.. his dad tried to catch up to him but could only watch as he went airborne, and then he, while still in the pedal car, rolled end over end, crashing into the floor at the bottom of the stairs..Rick received two black eyes for his effort..
At the age of thirteen, when he lived in the country, a small place called Sam’s Valley in southern Oregon, his dad was having a bunch of people over for an outdoor barbecue..deciding that the party needed a little excitement, Rick rode his Honda 50 motorcycle through the party, all while he was standing on the seat..after the party, he received a sore behind for his effort..Rick entered the stunt business in 1981..who would have guessed?
Rick’s first movie was Lone Wolf McQuade, a Chuck Norris movie that was filmed in El Paso. While working on the movie he met another stuntman by the name of Kane Hodder, who became one of his best friends, and they have worked in numerous movies and TV shows together..Kane went onto to play the character Jason Voorhees in four Friday the 13th movies, as well as Victor Crowley in the Hatchet trilogy..
With the help of Kane, Director Richard Friedman, ( Darkwolf, Born, among many others, which Richard had Rick as stunt coordinator) and Director Adam Green of the Hatchet series, who cast Rick as John , the silent hunter in Hatchet 2, and has had Rick on several other projects, including Saber, which won Best Picture and Best Action at Comic Con, Rick has gone on to be in more than 70 movies and TV shows.. Tune in To Find Out more!!
