What Did The Ernest Experience Radio Show Sound Like Back In The Early Days?
Tonight, your gracious host is opening the vaults for The Ernest Experience Radio Show! Never before heard here in BlogTalkRadio, Ernest is going to reair one of his shows from 2002, in the early days, before there was even a thought of a Ernest Radio Network. Ernest hosted a one year anniversary show in April of 2002 with his friend, and102.3 KISS-FM personality and Albany voice over diva, Djuana "Dj" Thomas. Ernest and Dj had been friends for a few years before this, and have remained friends ever since. (Dj is now spinning hits and rock the hell out of Atlanta.)
The anniversary show was a full four hours, but we're pulling out the last segment of the anniversary show to play for you here. As a note, the music track list for the show, was the same as the very first show we ever did, & we did that as an homage to how it all started. Obvious, our equipment upgrades are better than the early days, so you'll hear the raw & unadulterated sound of EERS back in the day. This is a great trip back in EERS history.
Show note: The show will run about 69 minutes tonight, not 90.

It's The Last E.E.R.S. Of The Year!
So what is your gracious host going to talk about tonight? Is it a rundown of everything that went on in 2011? Is it an all-new show? Is it full of guests? Is it full of music? You'll just have to tune in to find out.
Also, NPR News, Ern's 3-minute commentary "Don't Put It On The Internet", and much more. Don't miss the last E.E.R.S. of 2011!
You Read It Right. It's Our One Year Anniversary Show! May 19 2010 was our first ever broadcast back on the air, on BlogTalkRadio.
Our first show was only a 30 minute test broadcast with two of Ernest's friends, plus his MOTHER! (Mom was fighting a tornado warning while doing the show.)
EVERYONE is invited to join in on the celebratory fun. We'll have music, past show clips, special guests, and - well, we might just make it clothing optional! So bring your biggest smile, and join in on the fun. 1.347.746.EERS or 1.347.989.1942. That phone and chat room will be open like 7-11!
Is KISS Really The Hottest Band In The World?
Was KISS's Influence More About Music, Or Make-Up?
Taking a lighter-hearted, and downright fun, approach to tonight's episode of The Ernest Experience Radio Show, we will tackle the ever-important (!) topic of KISS. Did they really influence other bands after them, or did people just copy a genius marketing ploy? Some say the band is more about flash and pizzazz than any real musical substance. Is anyone really humming "Love Gun" or "Deuce" at work, or perhaps "Strutter" while at home cleaning out the garage?
KISS superfan Derek Levine joins us tonight to discuss just how awesome he thinks KISS turned out, all while Ernest butts against that idea, defending true musicianship and writing while dismissing the idea of a need for fireworks and 2000 lights per show.
All this plus music, NPR news, Ern's 3-minute commentary "Say What You Mean & Mean What You Say", and your phone calls. Are you a KISS fan? Wanna chime in? Call us at 1.347.746.EERS or 1.347.989.1942. We're gonna rock n' roll all night, and party every day...at least for the hour.
Barack Obama Plans To Pull Surge Troops Out Of Afghanistan - But Who is Left?
There Is A Toilet Crisis In The World - What Exactly Does That Mean? Find Out.
Tonight on The Ernest Experience Radio Show, we break down what the President said about pulling troops out of Afghanistan. Hopefully most Americans know it's not an end to the war, but rather a big ploy as the 2012 election campaign ramps up. Also - there is, what some are calling, a toilet crisis in the world. Such a simple thing, but so many are living without the basic needs in life. Your gracious host Ernest explores just how rampant and dangerous this problem has become in the world.
All this plus music, news, and Ern's 3-minute commentary "Flying High" talking about the Southwest Airlines pilot who ranted against homosexuals in his crew - and was caught on tape doing it. Join us LIVE. Chat & Phones will be open. 1.347.746.EERS and 1.347.989.1942.
Oh, Wanna Hear Samples of Wendy And Lisa's Latest EP, You Say?
You Are In The Right Place Tonight!
Wendy And Lisa were incredibly gracious in giving us a copy of their new EP SNAPSHOTS, the day before its release (which is today, June 2, 2011). Tonight, on The Ernest Experience Radio Show, you are going to hear generous samples the EP, along with the stories behind each song. Also, a vast selection of full songs from the much-overlooked album, Girl Bros. Check back later for full versions of the songs. (Or keep up on our Twitter, and we'll let you know.)
Also, Ern's 3-minute commentary "It's All In Your Head". Are all the drug commercials just the power of suggestion? Are we really that sick?, Plus news, commentary, panel guests, and so much more. A super big THANK YOU to Girls Bros., Wendy And Lisa, and executive producer Renata K., for hooking up Ernest Radio Network!
