LIFE AFTER DEATH: DR. EBEN ALEXANDER, DR. ELISA MEDHUS, THE LATE ERIK MEDHUS, JA

    in Entertainment

In an unusual 90 minutes The Halli Casser–Jayne Show explores the controversial topic of Life after Death when joining Halli at her table are Dr. Eben Alexander, Dr. Elisa Medhus, Jamie Butler and the late Erik Medhus.

Dr. Eben Alexander is a renowned academic neurosurgeon who practiced fifteen years at the Brigham & Women’s and the Children’s Hospitals and Harvard Medical School in Boston who thought he knew how the brain and mind worked. And then Dr. Alexander’s own brain was attacked by a rare illness and had a transcendental Near-Death Experience. He told his story in the controversial New York Times bestseller PROOF OF HEAVEN, A NEUROSURGEON’S JOURNEY INTO THE AFTERLIFE.

Elisa Medhus, MD is a physician and a mother of five who has practiced internal medicine for over thirty years. After the death of her twenty-year-old son Erik by suicide, Dr. Medhus began journaling her grief in her blog ChannelingErik.com. A strong believer in science, she formerly viewed spiritual matters with skepticism. And then her late son Erik began to communicate with family, friends, and blog members, her entire paradigm shifted. She wrote the story in the wildly successful MY SON AND AFTERLIFE. Now she has written her introduction to her late son’s new book, MY LIFE AFTER DEATH, A MEMOIR FROM HEAVEN.

Along with seeing energy, Jamie Butler sees spirits making her a clairvoyant and hearing them as a clairaudient. In the new book MY LIFE AFTER DEATH, A MEMOIR FROM HEAVEN by Erik Medhus with his mother Dr. Elisa Medhus, the reknowned medium channeled the words of the late Erik Medhus. She will channel him on The Halli Casser Jayne Show. For more information visit Halli CasserJayne dot com.

  • Weekend Review Saul Rodriguez Ivan Morales Victor Pasillas

    in Sports

We will recap this weekend's action, and Mario makes his response rap debut lol.
Unbeaten lightweight Saul “Neno” Rodriguez (18-0-1, 13 KOs), of Riverside, California, hammered out an eight round unanimous decision against Ramsey Luna (12-4, 5 KOs), of Corpus Christi, Texas, on Saturday night at the Churchill County Fairgrounds in Fallon, Nevada. Good action fight. The Robert Garcia-trained Rodriguez won by scores of 79-73, 78-74, 80-72.

Unbeaten super bantamweight Victor Pasillas (11-0, 4 KOs) from East Los Angeles, scored a third round TKO over Andres Tapia (8-5-2, 2 KOs) of Mexicali, Mexico, in an eight-rounder. Southpaw Pasillas dropped Tapia in round one. He then battered Tapia to a knee in round three. Tapia was kept on his stool after round three.

The 23-year-old brother of legendary world champion Erik Morales went down 97-93 on two scorecards, whilst a third judge gave ‘El Terrible II’ a draw - which wasn’t enough to keep the southpaw’s unbeaten run intact.

Morales had previously gone 28-0 and looked to be on the fast track to a world title shot, although will have to rethink his plans following a gutsy display by Jimenez - who improved his record to 20-11-2 and may have earned a high-profile rematch.

    in Military

Join us this week as we welcome country rock music singer songwriter, Hicks. Hailing from Stockholm, SE., Miqael Persson aka Hicks is the first Swedish country artist to land his first two singles in the New Music Weekly Top 10, (“Hayride,” “Mama’s Kitchen”) and the first to reach the Music Row Top 80. With multiple Gold and Platinum records to his credit, his rock-edged songs have been recorded by artists like Jimi Jamison (Survivor), Giant (Dann Huff), Bobby Kimball (Toto), Little River Band, and many other Grammy-winning artists. In addition to his songwriting credits, Hicks is an Independent Country Music Association award winner, and the British Country Music Association’s 2013 European Country Act of the Year. His latest, “I Belong To You” was co-written by Hicks with Erik Martensson, and hit songwriter, Jorgen Elofsson, writer of two smash hits for Kelly Clarkson (“A Moment Like This,” “Stronger.”) With its anthemic, soaring vocal hook, Mumford and Sons-like rhythm section, and enough fiddles to inspire a river-side hoe-down, “I Belong To You” is a breath of much-needed fresh air for summer playlists. We will talk to Hicks about his upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at his music, feature his latest songs, and ask him to share his message for the troops. Please be sure to visit Hicks at http://hickscountry.com/ and spread the word. Fans are welcome to call in and speak live with Hicks during the show (718) 766-4193.
