Join us this week as we welcome country music singer songwriter, Eric Karge. Eric was voted Maryland’s “2014 Country Music Artist of the Year” during the first-annual Maryland Music Awards recently held at Rams Head Live in Baltimore. Karge, who is from small town Preston, MD., was nominated in three categories including “Country Artist of the Year”, “Songwriter of the Year”, and “Breakout Artist of the Year”. Fans placed Karge in the top five for the three categories. In 2012, Karge released his debut EP titled “Small Town Night”. The EP features six from-the-heart original songs including “Small Town Night”, written about the town in which he grew up; “Irrigation from God”, inspired by the costly need for crop irrigation; “Hell Yeah”, a single inspired by meeting country artist Brantley Gilbert. Karge also wrote several meaningful songs including “If That’s What it Takes”, a tribute to his Marine brother Robbie and fellow members of the Marine Corps. Karge is currently working with Producer Dick Hodgin on a new military tribute album recording at Osceola Studio's in Raleigh, NC. The new album is scheduled to be released spring 2015. We will talk to Eric about his upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at his music, feature his latest songs, and ask him to share his message for the troops. Please be sure to visit Eric Karge at http://erickarge.com/ and spread the word. Fans are welcome to call in and speak live with with Eric during the show (718) 766-4193. Mind of Mansion Podcast Episode 117: Matt Kelley @fantasy_mansion believes Marcus Mariota is more similar to Dennis Dixon than Russell Wilson.
Marcus Mariota's archetype is the Cam Newton/RG3/Kaepernick/Dennis Dixon/Johnny Manziel: running quarterbacks who predominantly ran spread or package concepts.
Mariota is tantalizing, but he's a highly nebulus prospect, a known unknown.
Ultimate Marcus Mariota frankencomp: head/brain and personality of Russell Wilson, arm of Alex Smith, the body of Dennis Dixon, and the legs of Colin Kaepernick.
Jameis Winston's 18 interceptions in 2014 represents the singular stat that confirms all preconceived notions and negative bias about Jameis Winston.
What does a JaMarcus Russell comp actually mean?
Jay Cutler's 68.3 QBR compared to Jameis Winston's 89.4 QBR is the difference between collegiate mediocrity and collegiate excellence.
Jamies Winston's propensity to throw it to linebackers in the flat is inexplicable and real problem.
College interception totals do not necessarily translate into NFL interceptions.
According to Benjamin Allbright's proprietary Upside Meter, Jameis Winston has the least room to grow of any quarterback in this draft class.
Jameis Winston's 18 interceptions during his sophomore season do not encapsulate his ability, but they do remove Peyton Manning from his prospective range of outcomes.

Jesse interviews Judith Diana Winston – a visionary photo-artist, writer, life mentor. She has worked in the film industry as an actress, script supervisor, and as a fashion photographer. Diana authored “Meditative Magic – The Pleiadean Glyphs”, and also “The Keeper of the Diary”. She combines her spiritual quest with her abilities as an artist and communicator; focused on understanding mankind’s origin and destiny; which led to almost ten years visiting, photographing and learning about many of the earth’s ancient megalithic sacred sites. Diana's travels also drew her to research archeological texts, mythology, and channeled material related to these places. She considers herself a Mystic and believes that the entire planet is going through a dimensional shift; with a purpose to change and elevate consciousness and to work toward healing. Diana points out that as we vibrate at a higher frequency it forces us to face our deepest fears as well as offering opportunities to realize personal and collective dreams. We look at her work with “The Pleiadean Glyphs”. You can learn more about Diana’s work at: www.thekeeperofthediarybook.com

ROOTS artiste Keith Poppin earned a reputation in the early 1970s as having one of the smoothest voices in reggae. In 1973, Poppin (born Keith Smith) released his first solo single called Same Thing for Breakfast, which became his signature piece.Previously, he was a member of the Rocking Horse band. The song earned him recognition by topping the Jamaican chart as well as ethnic charts in Britain. One year later, he scored another hit with Envious.Throughout the 1970s, Poppin maintained a steady flow of quality songs including Someday Girl, Why Make Believe, Whenever There is Moonlight, and Who are You, which made the British national chart in 1976.In 1980, Poppin became the first act signed to reggae star Peter Tosh’s Intel-Diplo record label but after Tosh’s death in 1987, he took a break from recording, though he appeared twice in the Popular Song Contest.During the early 1990s, Poppin moved into producing other acts and promoting stage shows with his company Jungle Lion. He currently resides in the United States and recently released his latest album Journeys.
Mind of Mansion Podcast Episode 117: Matt Kelley @fantasy_mansion is terrified to learn that Jameis Winston barely meets Benjamin Allbright's holy QB throw velocity MPH threshold.
Detangling the no-lose-infallibility of the Skip Bayless rhetorical formula.
The inherent randomness of the interception explains how Michael Vick can never exceed six college interceptions while Drew Brees throws 20.
Humbling the swaggering Jameis Winston with bad fantasy analysis.
Click monsters claim Jameis Winston has Jeff George's arm, JaMarcus Russell's work ethic, and Jay Cutler's decision making.
Statistical trickery always requires a good preface. Winston could be an amazingly prolific fantasy quarterback, but....
Feeling punked with every article trashing Tevin Coleman and Jameis Winston.
Draft Jameis Winston, because a great QB1 shortage is coming.
Jameis Winston probably won't be as good as Teddy Bridgewater, even if he is the next Dan Marino.

Michaelbrent Collings is an internationally bestselling novelist, a #1 bestseller in the U.S., and has been one of Amazon's top selling horror writers for years. He is one of the most successful indie horror writers in the United States, as well as a produced screenwriter and member of the WGA, HWA, and several other writing groups with cool-sounding letters. He's also a martial artist, and cooks awesome waffles ('cause he's macho like that).
He published his first "paying" work - a short story for a local paper - at the age of 15. He won numerous awards and scholarships for creative writing while at college, and subsequently became the person who had more screenplays advance to quarterfinals and semifinals in the prestigious Nicholl Fellowship screenwriting competition in a single year than anyone else in the history of the competition.
His first produced script, Barricade, was made into a movie starring Eric McCormack of TV's Will & Grace and Perception, and was released in 2012. Michaelbrent also wrote the screenplay for Darkroom (2013), starring Kaylee DeFer (Gossip Girl, Red State) and Elisabeth Rohm (American Hustle, Law & Order, Heroes).
As a novelist, Michaelbrent has written enough bestsellers that listing them seems weird, especially since they're already listed elsewhere on the website. In addition, he has also written dozens of non-fiction articles which have appeared in periodicals on several continents.
Michaelbrent is also a member of the WGA (Writers Guild of America) and the HWA (Horror Writers of America). In addition to selling, optioning, and doing rewrites on screenplays for major Hollywood production companies, he is currently developing several movies and television shows.
