Welcome to the Seriouside of the jril show. We will be discussing the following topics:
SEG 1-PREGNANT WORKERS FAIRNESS ACT (PWFA)
The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), would require employers to make the same kind of workplace accommodation for pregnant women that current law requires them to make for people with disabilities. So the question is why do Republicans continue to not support the bill?
SEG 2-ANOTHER BITES THE DUST
Members of Internet sites that allow law enforcement to air out issues are expressing outrage and offense over public reaction to last week's death of a New York City man after police administered a chokehold, which is against police department policy.
SEG 3-WAS HE RIGHT?
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith was silenced by his employers after his comments when asked about the Ray Rice suspension or lack thereof. Smith said that even though Rice was wrong in allegedly hitting his fiancé, women should not provoke their men in hitting them. Was he right?

This show will look at the tragic and senseless death of Eric Garner. We will seek answers on why police used an outlawed choke hold on a man for no known reason. Blacks both male and female are afraid to encounter police day or night for fear of this type outcome. Are we under a police state, is this why this type arrest is occuring so often with police across the country.
We are almost done with Eric Pepin's teachings now. The last section I hve to share with you is his Whitefire series. This will cover part 1 of the series and then the final segment will be Whitefire part 2. So far it has been interesting to her what he has to say and I expect this series to be equally compelling.

That is right, horror fans, Derek Young and Eric Morse are going to have a horror icon on the show. But we can't tell you who it is right now...After all, spoilers.....
(Note: Unfortunately our surprise guest didn't show up. Derek figures he was held up on set and just couldn't make it. That happens. Still we did our Epic Con updates. I talked about my two books that will be released in October. Christopher Highland came on and talked about his book he is writing. Hell, we even talked about Transformers and WWE films...So, still not a bad show....)
I Came To Praise The Lord (Eric Rogers, Ph.D., Pastor-Teacher Church Without Walls Chicago
In a day and age when sin, ungodliness and unholiness seem to reign supreme, Christians found themselves beleagued and bewildered with doubt and discouragement.
But like the soldiers and servants of ancient ages past, who in the face of defeat, difficulties and disappointments sought refuge and replenishment through the practice, purpose and proclamation of praise.
"I Came To Praise The Lord" is a sermon that explores and examines how to worship, who to worship, why to worship and what to worship for to praise God's Holy Name.
King David is an old man now. He looks back at his life and reflects on how good and how worthy God is to be praised. He has fought one battle after another. He has seen blood shed, families in disarray and experienced personal crisis in his own home.
David charges the nations to praise the Lord and to recognize God's mercy. In his distress, he called upon the Lord and got an answer. David argues what God will do when your enemies come at you. He talks about how there were times when he got himself in trouble and only the Lord could get him out and for that God is worthy to be praised. David ultimately concludes that he doesnt care who is preaching, who is teaching, who is singing in the temple, just let him get into the House of Worship and he will praise the Lord.
For this is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be exceedingly glad in it.
