    Saddle Up for Montana

    in Travel

Join World Footprints as we take you on a journey through a national treasure—the State of Montana.  We covered just a small section of this wonderful state—Glacier Country--but as you’ll discover from Part I of this series, there’s a reason why many celebrities (Ted Turner, David Letterman, among others) call Montana a “home away from home.”   Our first stop through Glacier country begins in the town of Whitefish, an enchanting art and cultural center, and you’ll meet the proprietors of the Good Medicine Lodge. (One of the most extraordinary places we have ever stayed.) Whitefish is also the gateway to our second stop—Glacier National Park.  We will take you deep inside Glacier National Park to share some of its charm with the help of Mike Davies of Glacier Guides. Then we’ll travel by rail on the Amtrak Empire Builder to Havre, Montana, where we’ll experience the Havre Underground, a town beneath the town.  Finally, we’ll end the first part of this journey with a stop that takes us on safari (yes, a safari) on the Great Plains with Jacob Dusek of Sage Safaris.

    SPOOKY SPY MISSIONS

    in Politics

Program Summary: Nov. 1, 2014  “Unwelcome Guests” (recorded Aug. 9, 2014) Program Description: We begin with a new speaker to the show, Douglas Valentine, author of The Phoenix Program, a book on the CIA's deliberate terrorization of civilians as a political strategy. He explains that the CIA had pretty much a free hand to operate the "Pheonix program", developing methods of terrorizing civilian populations in Vietnam, and that these strategies were later rolled out across South America in the 1970s. Unsurprisingly, he suggests, a bunch of the same people were either personally involved, or trained the perpetrators. He names in particular Ted Shackley, who was made head of the CIA's western hemisphere division in 1973 and stacked the higher echelons of the CIA with those who had run the Phoenix program, and had them "direct their attention" to all of Latin America. The result was a series of brutal coups and repressions throughout the region. ...  In our second hour, we return to the interview with Sibel Edmonds, who continues by narrating a major incident in Northern Iraq referred to by the Turkish media as the "hood event": following a (still undisclosed) tipoff, some Turkish terrorists were, quite literally, bagged by some unsuspecting US forces. They appear to have been Turkish military generals engaged in an operation organized by Turkish Operation Gladio operatives against the Kurds, and the hurried intervention from high levels of the US power structure suggests that they were engaged in a false flag terror operation under Gladio/B.

Home and Community Based Services with Chava Kintisch, Esq.

    in Culture

Join us for a conversation with Chava Kintisch, Esq., Director of Civic and Government Affairs for the Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania (DRN), about the new federal regulations for Medicaid home and community-based services now in effect.  These regulations require Pennsylvania to ensure that its Medicaid home and community-based waiver services are provided through a person-centered planning process and provided in appropriate, integrated settings.

We'll discuss what the term Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) means, what person centered planning is all about, how it impacts residents of the Commonwealth with disability waivers, the Department of Human Service's (formerly DPW) transition plan, and much more.

Gilbert House Fellowship #4: Genesis 7-9

    in Paranormal

WE PICK up the story of Noah just before the waters of the Flood sweep over the land. We compare the biblical account of the Flood with the Mesopotamian epics featuring Atra-Hasis, Utnapishtim, and Ziusudra. Was Noah a Sumerian king? And why, after the Flood, was Noah so angry with Ham that he cursed Ham's son, Canaan?

Further reading: See Peter Goodgame's intriguing studies The Giza Discovery, in which Peter equates the biblical Nimrod with the Sumerian king Enmerkar and the first Egyptian pharaoh, Narmer, and then makes the case that this person is to be identified as the Egyptian god Osiris. We also recommend Peter's excellent essay Against World Powers: A Study of the Judeo-Christian Struggle in History and Prophecy, which explains the Genesis 6 event as one battle in the ongoing rebellion against Yahweh by members of the Divine Council. These will factor into our discussion next week of the Tower of Babel incident.
