Born and raised in the small farming community of Spiritwood, Saskatchewan, Brody Siebert grew up in a family full of musical talent. He flew down to Nashville in November of 2014 where he recorded three songs. One of the songs titled "Lay It On Me Tonight" came out the gate with lots of hometown support where it spent 4 days as the number one requested song on Saskatoon's 92.9 The Bull and hit number 85 on the Country Mediabase charts in its first month at radio
DIRT ROAD ANGELS
The five talented, creative and seasoned recording artists that make up Alberta's Dirt Road Angels are: Shawna Lynne, Shila Marie, Danita, Karen Claypool and Dahlia Wakefield. Their brand new album is called Paint The Town Red. It features catchy country rock songs such as the title track, which is their first single; the upbeat and fun song "Make Me Wanna"; they get tender on "Memories" and show their heartwarming side on "Best Friend." All are songs they wrote and performed at their 2014 Canadian Country Music Association Diamonds in the Rough showcase.
Country music became Curtis Braly's first love. While in school, he took advantage of every performing opportunity given to him. In the eighth grade, he won first place in a talent contest singing "Old Time Rock-n-Roll". That set things in motion for Curtis to seriously pursue performing live. "Something magical happened to me on that stage," he said. "I knew that music was my destiny, there is no other feeling like it!" This Texas artist's latest single is called "Doors Closing Everywhere."

VOC NATION WRESTLING: RAW REACTION
Hey everyone, it's Harry as per usual. So, that was a average PPV last night. But on the more important side of things, the reign of King Tony as predictions champion may have come to an end.
Speaking of Kings, WWE brings back the King of the Ring tournament. Will it actually mean something in the scheme of things, or is it just a means to an end once again. Plus, we start the road to Payback which is only 20 days away. 3 Raws and 3 Smackdown's to build to the PPV, so let's see what they do with it.
So, join us here on the VOC Nation network at 11:30 PM (EST) as Harry Broadhurst (PBP voice of Real Action Pro Wrestling), Tony Acero (411mania's Raw Reporter) and Jimmy Christopher (We think...The World Fat-Ass Champion) bring you the "Raw Reaction". Join us by calling in at 914-338-1885
When I first shared about going on TV to promote Pregnancy Awareness Month, I had people calling my radio station with a bit of a laugh in their voice, saying: Women don’t KNOW they are pregnant?
Haha (Well, the real answer is: You would be surprised! I have some stories for you! But that's a whole different kind of reality TV show, for another time.)
Tonight my guest is a dear ally in motherhood, greener living, & better living though education & community. Alisa Donner joins me to explain what Pregnancy Awareness Month is & how she, along with her partner Anna Getty, have grown this thriving organization from the ground up.

in Self Help
Tonight's special guest is Brittany Ecton from Olathe, Kansas, a 26 year old single mother who's a child abuse and adoption trauma survivor and activist. Still in early recovery, this will be the first time she tells her story in public. Sexually abused by her father, a belligerent drunk, she recalls being "conditioned" by him for years. A deeply troubled child her parents took her to many therapists, she says, ".. and every time I hinted at the abuse they would switch, and they forced medication on me for years." Her mother neglected her throughout her entire life and never showed her love or any form of kindness. "She had 3 other kids and it was obvious she loved them and not me." She explains, "I started acting out my abuse with my brother as a child, and the memories are so dark that I can't bare to even look at my brother anymore, without hating my entire body and mind for those memories. Once my hormones kicked in, I became ashamed of my body and life, I had no friends and no life, and I was tormented by kids for being different." A troubled teenager, she broke all the rules, before 18 had 7-8 suicide attempts. "I got pregnant at 19 and my mother forced me into giving my baby away due to no money, help or support, and I lived in a homeless shelter for 7 months." At 21 she married her friend, Zachary, a bad boy doing everything wrong who she'd knows since 15 years old. "He was in the military and promised to save me from my life," she shared. Returning from Afghanistan 80% disabled presented Brittany with new problems, and the additional challenge of giving birth to their son. In the middle of everything else she discovered she'd been adopted! Now married 4 years and seeing a therapist, Brittany's still struggling with doing what's best for herself and her young son.
The Two Trees is a poignant story that gives a glimpse into the difficulties of having a high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) child in the family. As told from a sibling perspective, it is both an exploration and celebration of brotherly love despite challenging circumstances, metaphorically reflected in the growth of two trees planted at the beginning of the story. The Two Trees is a must-read for all parents and kids, ASD families, educators, and anyone who has witnessed or felt the sting of being left out, bullied, or misunderstood.
Join me on The Keep It Moving Blog Talk Radio Show with special guest Sally Meadows, singer, song writer, author and more importantly a mother. Hear her experiences raising 2 boys and the story behind her new childrens book The Two Trees.
