    in Dads and Family

We're glad you found us. You are about to hear our rather different and interesting program.  What you will be listing to is a cross section of men brought together to converse and provide male opinions in what you may be interested in hearing as well as try to express what men feel about on a variety of topics.  This panel is from across the nation and embraces many different ages, ethnic backgrounds, and social endeavors.  The men on this panel will be discussing many of today's most newsworthy events, human relationships, life issues and yes even politics and religion!  They would like you to listen in, and if desired, ask a question or two you can do this by calling in at (646) 668-8740.  Callers always seem to come up with interesting questions and we welcome your contributions.  Conversations are known to get a bit spicy, emotional and even introspective.  Try to picture years ago sitting in a barbershop, or just around a table at the local restaurant, or at today’s popular coffee shops;  the conversations can end up going in many different directions and leave you richer for understanding other points of view. We look forward to hearing from each of our callers that may want to join the conversations and express their thoughts on the subjects discussed. Call in and give your opinion; you can also pick us up at http://tobtr.com/s/8786197.

How Mantras Awaken the Spirit for Deep Cleansing

    in Spirituality

My guest this week on Catch Your Spirit is Melissa  Beasley of Love Essential Skin Care.  Melissa is a natural skincare formulator, business owner, and mother of two. She began formulating skincare products for her son’s sensitive skin issues. After receiving requests for products from friends and family she eventually expanded her product line and launched Love-Essential Skin Care.

Melissa uses her background in biochemistry and her love for natural health to create products that are highly effective, completely natural, and wonderfully luxurious.

Melissa’s mission is to change the way we approach skincare by encouraging an attitude of love and appreciation for the wonder of the human body.

Most recently, Melissa has been fascinated with learning the connections between the physical and spiritual bodies.  She has noticed that toxic thoughts affect not only our bodies but also our Spirit.

Our words and thoughts can have both a physical and spiritual affect on us. These two layers of the body are intertwined and dance together for our overall health.

By using a mantra,  a word or phrase that carries a positive meaning, the spirit empowers the body. Some of her mantras include "my worth is not tied to how clear my complexion is today", "the human body is an amazing miracle, my body is an amazing miracle and it is beautiful. I choose to see past the small flaws I don't like and recognize the wonder of beauty of who I am." "Love is always beautiful."

Life Changes with Travel with Natalie Que

    in Travel

I have travelled extensively around the world and in varying ways; raised in UT, I left after University and lived in Seoul for 19 months and then Taipei for 15. I was home for a year before moving to Australia for 7 years, living in both Sydney and Melbourne and traveling the region extensively -road trips up and down the coasts of Australia, campervanning Tasmania. Travel to Fiji, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Japan, Philippines, Ibiza, Guam, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, China, I also spent 3 months in a Campervan with my family trying to save my crumbling marriage in New Zealand, covering a lot of ground on both islands! It didn't work... I spent another few years in Australia before moving back to the States, and lost for what to do with my life I joined a travel dating website. I went on blind first dates to South Africa and Israel, and trips to Paris, Istanbul, Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans and Germany with the same two men (individually) over the course of 2 1/2 months. I just returned from my own solo trip to Mexico. I've also alone traveled elsewhere. There is still more but perhaps this will suffice for now! I'm writing a book and starting my own podcast called Escape the Narrative. I'm a mother of two children, my field is journalism and PR but more recently I've been a spokesperson, writer, model and actress. Not only do I have extensive knowledge and interesting stories, I'm also willing to open up and talk about my life, my divorce and the changes in my journey and how I have travelled differently in response to those changes.
