  • Dr. Eric Pearl: The Reconnection

    in Self Help

It's warm up music and chat for the first half hour. Then, our interview gets underway at 9am pacific, 12-noon eastern.

In his book, The Reconnection, Chiropractor Dr. Eric Pearl shares the development of his ability to effect profound healings with people, by “re-connecting” with our innate ability to contact, know and work with, the profound intelligent force most often called “universal intelligence.” Not only will we be talking about how it works, we’ll also be discussing how you can work with it for yourself! Dr. Pearl appeared on Dr. Oz, who was flabbergasted at what Pearl was able to do. Dr. Pearl appeared on Full Power Living two years ago, too, and has made many advances in his approach since that time. Come “catch up” on one of the powerful ways we humans are creating rapid and powerful transformation.

Two years ago, I had the pleasure and opportunity to take Dr. Pearl’s introductory class, watching him accomplish healing with people in ways I had never imagined. I was even able to do it myself. As a person who has been interested in energy and energy flow for close to half a century, I was amazed at how easily he connected with a person’s energy and changed or positively affected its flow. He was working with higher intelligence, did not need to control every aspect of what was happening, and was achieving amazing results. I can’t wait to hear what he’s been learning and doing since he and I last “met”. Click here to visit Dr. Eric Pearl's website.

Dr. Craig Malkin debuts Rethinking Narcissism

    in Lifestyle

“What is Narcissism?” is one of the fastest-rising searches on Google, and articles on the topic routinely go viral. Yet the word “narcissism” seems to mean something different every time it’s uttered. In fact, the more it’s slung about, the more slippery its true meaning becomes. The only certainty, it would seem, is that it’s bad to be a narcissist—really bad. for millennials, been branded “the most narcissistic generation ever.”

In RETHINKING NARCISSISM (HarperWave – on sale July 7), Dr. Craig Malkin—a Harvard Medical School-affiliated psychologist with more than two decades of clinical experience—offers a radically new model for understanding this often misused term. Narcissism, argues Dr. Malkin, is essentially a spectrum of self-importance— and everyone falls somewhere on the scale between utter selflessness and total arrogance.

Yet there are also those who live at the lower end of the spectrum—termed “echoists” by Dr. Malkin.
Drawing on his own research as well as the latest findings in psychology, Dr. Malkin explains why it’s essential to embrace some degree of narcissism in order to maintain a healthy sense of self-worth. Using a new diagnostic tool—the Narcissism Test—Dr. Malkin guides readers through the process of measuring.

Dr. Craig Malkin is an author, clinical psychologist, and Instructor of Psychology for Harvard Medical School with two decades of experience helping individuals, couples, and families. His insights on relationships have been appeared in Psychology Today, Marie Claire, and Women’s and Men’s Health mags.

Random Thought Thursday July 30th 2015

    in Family

Have you ever heard the expression that you whould be kind because you have no idea the battle that others might be fighting?  I try to live my life that way, but sometimes the world seems to be in so much turmoil that the small amount of kindness I put out seems to drown in a sea of negativity.  Today we'll be talking about some of the negativity and how we can respond in kindness, how we can learn to digest the media reports that are designed to elicit an emotional response rather than just report the facts and how we can reach out in peace.  There is hope and we'll definitely talk about that.  There is love and we will definitely talk about that.  Join us and be part of the solution we desperately need

  • What do you think about these Instructions

    in Self Help

FBI University is a school of Faith Based Instructions. Wherein, we extract the wisdom of God from the text of scripture, fashion it into practical principles of instructions, and present them through daily devotionals. Obedience to these instructions turns beliefs into behavior that advances our economical, emotional, and intellectual wellbeing. Now stay tuned as John Marshall teaches you how that by following instructions you coach yourself into the Champion Circle.

Jesus never sought to change the quality of one’s existence through prayer alone. Jesus sought to change the quality of life by issuing a set of instructions. Even to Lazarus, who had been dead for four days, Jesus gave a set of instructions, “Lazarus, come forth” (John 11:43). Had Lazarus dishonored the instructions, he would have remained dead. His quality of life changed due to his willingness to honor the set of instructions that Jesus issued to him. Prayer is a powerful tool. I continually use that God-authorized empowerment tool. However, do not seek to alter your course in life by prayer alone. God seeks to improve your life by giving you a set of instructions.

    (1) The quality of the instructions that you follow helps to produce the quality of life you will enjoy.

    (2) The instructions you follow today create the quality of life you will enjoy tomorrow.

    (3) Yesterday’s programming takes today’s instructions and orchestrate tomorrow’s outcome.

    (4) Therefore, the instructions you massage into your mind today will determine how well you manage your life tomorrow. Indeed it is true, a better you begins with a grace view of God

    (5) Only when you follow divine counsel do you enjoy maximum quality of health within your spirit.

Sam and Dave re War, Military Deployment, and Life Afterwards

    in Self Help

Sam and Dave, two close buddies, in different branches of the US military, will sit with us to discuss War, Military Deployment, and Life Afterwards. They are also here to answer your questions and respond to your comments.

Panel: A panel discussion with 2 veterans, Sam and Dave, about the War, Military Deployment, and the residual effects on families during and after war time.

If there is any advice you can share with our audience who may be thinking about joining the military, or even currently serving in the armed forces what advise as Veterans can you share?

According to the US National Library of Medicine, National Institute of Health, “Among the consequences of war, the impact on the mental health of the civilian population is one of the most significant. Studies of the general population show a definite increase in the incidence and prevalence of mental disorders. Women are more affected than men. Other vulnerable groups are children, the elderly and the disabled. Prevalence rates are associated with the degree of trauma, and the availability of physical and emotional support. The use of cultural and religious coping strategies is frequent in developing countries.”
