The Pet Place Radio Show Orig. Airdate 4-18-2015

    in Pets

Some years ago, when I was a Lieutenant with Orange County Animal Control, I was asked to train deputy sheriff recruits in the area of dealing with protective animals at crime scenes or other emergency locations.  This came about after a beloved family pet was shot and killed by deputies who had responded to a burglary-in-process call at a residence.  That event made it painfully clear that many law-enforcement personnel had little to no training in dealing with protective animals and resorted to immediate lethal force when confronted with a family pet.  Of course, one of the best bits of information all emergency personnel can use before they arrive to the scene of an emergency is whether or not a pet is there.  And thanks to Smart911, a new service for pet owners, this information is being made available to emergency response agencies.  Jessica Rose from RAVE mobile Safety will be by shortly to tell us about all the details. Then after our halftime break, Ashley Cunningham, the president and founder of Barks of Love Animal Rescue will be checking in to talk about all the latest news from her organization and tails with happy endings.

Black Wall Street, Ant Hills, & Egyptian Pyramids

    in Real Estate

On "It's My House" today we shall take another look at Black Wall Street and compare it to how Ants operate in Nature and the Egyptian Pyramids.  In our It's My House's opinion we think that MOST (not all) people are looking at the events of the Tulsa Race Riots were totally based on "race".  We see it differently.

The Greenwood Neighborhood located in north Tulsa, OK. was based on the following:

    Economic Class
    Lack of proper NEIGHBORHOOD PLANNING
    Lack of proper HOUSEHOULD PLANNING
    Lack of Security
A community that was not 100% "Self Governed".........no Emergency Prepardness Plan in place and staffed.

Coaches Corner with Geri Fallo - Hoboken and the Sinatra Centennial

    in Entertainment

Tonight we're talking with Geraldine (Geri) Fallo, who, as the Administrator of Cultural Affairs for Hoboken, has coordinated a series of "Sounds of Sinatra" weekends each summer to celebrate the life of Hoboken-born Frank Sinatra, including an annual "Sinatra Idol" contest.  For this, the year of the centennial of Sinatra's birth (coming up on December 12th), I thought I'd talk to Geri and find out what makes Sinatra so special to Hoboken and what her role is in making this celebration.  We'll also talk about the various events happening in June and December to celebrate 100 years of Frank Sinatra.

Geri has been organizing events for The City of Hoboken for 21 years, including the annual the Hoboken Spring & Fall Arts & Music Festival, the Summer Enchanted Evening Concert series at Sinatra Park, Movies Under the Stars at Pier A Park, Artists Studio Tour, Sinatra Idol Contest, Ragamuffin Parade, Harvest & Irish Festivals, the Holiday Craft Fair & much more.

For more information, visit http://www.hobokennj.org/departments/human-services/cultural-affairs.  You can follow Geri on Twitter @HobokenCultural.

    Controlled Remote Viewing-IRVA Conference

    in Women

    Topic:

Teresa Frisch discusses CRV Project Management and what a professional CRV customer report looks like. Teresa Frisch is a registered nurse with over 40 years of experience in healthcare and currently work in an Emergency Department in Southwest Ohio. Eventually I began studying nursing intuition and nursing theory after increasingly frequent personal nonlocal time / space events. A two hour remote viewing class at the Universal Life Expo in Columbus, Ohio in 2004 became a life-changing, defining moment. I nailed the target. I described a picture in an envelope with no idea of what it was until after I turned in my session. Remote viewing was not a random, déjà vu event. It produced results, and those results were, in fact, data. The intuitive, subconscious mind can accurately describe and report sensory information such as smells, sounds, tastes, colors, sizes, and shapes. I began studying CRV with Lyn Buchanan, former member of the U.S. Military Intelligence Unit STAR GATE in 2005. There was no looking back. As a CRV Analyst I am trained to separate data from the remote viewing session transcript for proper analysis. My CRV projects include archeology, chemical research, business decision-making and law enforcement consultation. As a CRV Instructor, I introduce the highly structured and carefully controlled methodology step by step, guiding the student through actual CRV sessions, gathering sensory data from real-world sites around the globe.

FREE ENERGY HEALINGS! CALL IN! GIFTED ENERGY HEALER PAUL LA FRANCE!

    in Spirituality

After a personally painful experience 7 years ago, Paul La France found he was able to help others overcome challenging physical and emotional conditions by bringing through Universal energy transmitting it clients, often with profound healing results.

Around 2007, Paul was remembering that his grandfather was often asked to pray for people who were ill and expected to die. His prayers were powerful and often, the unexpected occurred. The person he prayed for recovered. So while in deep meditation Paul asked that he be guided to a way of helping people much like his grandfather had.

However, within a half hour of Paul’s meditation he felt severe pains in his spine, head and kidneys. In fact he thought that once again he was passing kidney stones. The Emergency Room doctors refuted this and added that none of the tests results were helpful in explaining his extremely painful condition. They didn’t want to release him and insisted he take morphine.

Shortly afterwards, Paul became very aware of energies running through him and out his hands. He came to the realization that his sudden pains after the meditation had been a release of physical blockages, opening him up to flow energies which can help others. Since then, he has continued to use and further develop his abilities as he helps people over come and deal with many conditions which negatively affect their lives.

    Police brutality

    in Current Events

The Justice Department releases statistics on this and related issues, although these datasets are only periodically updated: It found that in 2008, among people who had contact with police, “an estimated 1.4% had force used or threatened against them during their most recent contact, which was not statistically different from the percentages in 2002 (1.5%) and 2005 (1.6%).” In terms of the volume of citizen complaints, the Justice Department also found that there were 26,556 complaints lodged in 2002; this translates to “33 complaints per agency and 6.6 complaints per 100 full-time sworn officers.” However, “overall rates were higher among large municipal police departments, with 45 complaints per agency, and 9.5 complaints per 100 full-time sworn officers.” In 2011, about 62.9 million people had contact with the police

[A]ccording to the CDC, in Oklahoma the rate at which black people are killed per capita by law enforcement is greater than anywhere else in the country. That statistic is taken from data collected for the years 1999-2011. During that same time period, Oklahoma’s rate for all people killed by law enforcement, including all races, is second only to New Mexico. However, Oklahoma, the District of Columbia, Nevada and Oregon are all tied for the rate at which people are killed. (The CDC treats the District of Columbia as a state when collecting and displaying statistics.) In Missouri, where Mike Brown lived and died, black people are killed by law enforcement twice as frequently as white people. Nationwide, the rate at which black people are killed by They note that among 36 different studies published since the 1980s, the rates of force asserted vary wildly, from a high of more than 30% to rates in the low single digits.
